travelland: Sorry, it seems you've been scammed. You should visit www.gov.uk to get information about your visa type. Your employer will need to provide a certificate of sponsorship and all his business documents to support you, also you need to show proven qualifications and evidence of past experience.
Biometrics is a must for all UK visa applicants except in exceptional cases where it cannot be taken due to disability or inability to obtain it from the applicant (very rare) you will still have to make yourself available for the staffs to determine this
Your application should be under Tier 2 General. Is your employer a licensed operator? You will need your TB test result (from a designated test center), also police character certificate will come in handy
Try doing it yourself without using an agent or if you must make sure it's someone who knows his/her onions thanks much |

justwise: Unfortunately you have been scammed, if i were you i will ask that they cancel that application and return your passport.
Getting a visa to work with children in the UK is almost impossible if you don't have a proven profile in that job, you need to do an extensive CRB to be able to get such job.
1.The UK work visa cost more than 61K
2. Nothing like health insurance what you pay is health subcharge which is £200 a year, so its £400 for that 2yrs visa and not 18K they collected from you.
3. Yes biometric is a must.
4. Your friend's uncle can't just send sponsorship letter, what is needed certificate of sponsorship and it comes from the homeoffice.
This whole thing is a scam, take your mind off it and i hope you don't get fake visa stamp on that passport. thanks so much. I really appreciate. |

Hi guys, please I will go straight to the point. A friend of mine, an airforce official, has an uncle abroad who runs a creche. He needed 2 people to come and work for him there as 2 of his staffs had left. One got married and the other travelled to US after working 2 years. My friend asked if I was interested and I said yes and we got rolling. I have been reading so many stuffs here and it has left me confused. I paid 61k for visa application and 18k for health insurance or travel insurance. I was asked to provide that and I don't have it so I paid 18k for it to be done. My friend travelled with our passports to Abuja to give to someone who his uncle told him to give and the person submitted it to UK embassy. The uncle sent the letter of invitation and other documents to the person who in turn is to submit to the embassy. The uncle abroad is the one sponsoring us as we are coming to work for him. He's also sponsoring our flight fee. We have agreed on payment and accommodation. My question is this: I have been seeing stuffs like biometrics and emails and the rest. Though I submitted my email address and passport photograph as well. But I'm yet to receive any mail and I'm yet to do any biometrics. Is it not necessary? I was told the Visa would take 32working days cos it's a 2yrs visa.
please @justwise @travelland and everyone who can help. Thanks. |

Romance › Re: Wife Catches Husband Red-handed Sleeping With Their Housegirl by tushinebaba: 11:37am On May 31, 2013 |
$andra-Luv:
A wife who has been hearing stories around that her husband was enjoying himself with their house maid got the shock of her life recently as she caught them red handed after setting a trap for the two secret lovers.
The source who sent the story to TON said the wife pretend that she was going to her shop and sent the the maid in her husband’s presence to go to the market and buy foodstuff. The maid took the money and immediately her husband got up and walked out, saying he’s taking a walk…
The woman drove out of the compound with the maid and dropped her at the junction where she would take a bike to the market. She sighted her husband hiding at a corner but pretended she didn’t see him. She drove away, parked her car about 200 meters away and walked back to the house. She entered their sitting room, nothing. Her husband’s bedroom, nothing. Their kids room, nothing. It then dawned on her that her shameless husband might be doing the “thing” at the house maid’s room. True to her suspicion, the wife caught her husband “very busy” on top the maid. Funny enough, sources say the wife has discovered that the young girl is already pregnant for her husband and the man is now saying he will marry her as his second wife. The wife is devastated! The incident was said to have happened in a Lagos suburb but the woman’s husband is a rich guy.
What's gonna be the outcome!!!
