If u dey fear to soak gaari, the solution I have for u is to re-fry it with fry pan, and make it hot, lower the fire very well and keep steering till it becomes very hot, park and spread on a tray and allow it to get cold before keeping it in a bucket or tight container. Just dey fire your gaari anytime u want it. lobatan.

Birth Story. long post alert.

So I went for Ante Natal at 37 weeks after ICT test at 36 weeks ( am rhesus negative), I was supposed to see the test result but it was not posted, the Dr. who attended to me for some reasons rushed me and asked me to come back next week for the test result.

I was not satisfied so I went back to the lab after spending over 2 hours I was still asked to wait I was so frustrated plus I have been working all week and I had only 2 days off work and today happened to be the first day, I lost my patience and stood up to make trouble. "madam please sit down we will soon attend to you"

me: no am fine just post the test result so I can go to the Dr.

Lab: we are posting it now.

Me: I will wait until you post it.

Lab: OK just sit down

Me: please I have been sitting down for over two hours plus this test was done 7 days ago, why should I keep waiting am tired and I need to rest why do I have to be kept waiting.... ( all my pregnancy hormones came to play here, I was really exhausted all I want was sleep)

finally it was posted I went back to the Dr. and he said I thought I asked you to come back next week and I told him I wanted to know the test result. He took me to another doctor and she took her time with me asked me all the questions they ask and told me the test was weakly positive and I have to be induced and if I agree of course I did.

However I had to do a repeat of the test and also other test and scan and call my husband as I will be admitted too. it was at about 2pm, I quickly informed my husband and he came we went for the test and was told result will take 2 weeks, we were sent some where else for the scan at about 7pm and they were closed I was tired all I wanted was sleep and was hungry.


We came back to the hospital and completed other test and I went to the ward the nurses there started another drama ....

Duty calls.

The doctor told me the ward to go to and I went there and informed the nurses so I could get a bed space and I was asked all the questions in this world believe me I was not in the mood of talking I just want sleep but I answer all the questions, I didn't have my card because it was with dh who took my phone and went to God know where I was looking silly.

They finally gave me a bed space and took turns in coming to ask me who asked me to come to the ward. At this point I just want to cry and I asked the nurses if the ward was a fancy hotel that anyone would leave the comfort of their house to come and sleep. I decided to go outside until the doctor came as I turned to leave the doctor came in with another doctor. Nah that time the nurses free me phew.

The doctor advice the test result shows baby's heat rate is low plus my weakly positive ICT, the consultant told me best option nah CS. OK lemme tell dh, took a while before he came nah so we start deliberation he insisted no CS, I no fit drag with man now abeg. OK let's meet the doctor to advice and at the time the consultant was not there, she was sitting on the fence oh. She said both is good chances are 50/50 i no come know weitin to do again i just told dh to call the pastor and tell him. ( we have been having lots of revelation and has been praying for safe delivery). Pastor said do CS I just they thank God as no evil report go happen I no fit hear say baby didn't make it due to stressful labour cut me open comot the picking abeg jejely.

Na so we take do CS oh, the emergency was such that the doctor said baby has to come out today oh the haste was too much, the doctor come tell dh say even if we choose to be induced we go still land for CS as pikin no fit do labour.

At 12:09am 20/03/18 my tall, fair, rich, handsome, holy Ghost filled son was delivered weighing 2.9kg. rhesus positive. He cried weakly. However he was good.

After birth another drama this time it was my Anty she said I didn't tell her I was in labour therefore she no go come hospital can you imagine after safe delivery baby, mother and father is fine no one to help oh Nah so I just they cry oh Nah only her we call say we dey hospital and on emergency CS oh she no send me. everything has been sorted out sha.

I Thank God Almighty for His power shown in my pregnancy.

I thank all members of this forum where I learnt a lot of things even though I posted very little thanks to my Job, also maybe I would have lost this baby as I almost eat pepper soup and agidi as that's only wat I want when I was about 6 weeks, until a mama although she lost her lo reported she had miscarriage and was not sure why and she state she took pepper soup and swallow a day before, believe me my pepper soup and agidi was waiting for me since the night before would have eaten it save for the fact that dh brought rice that night and I was warming up to go and eat my meal before I read it on this forum.

I would like to advice all mothers; please if you are rhesus negative don't joke with it, OK? please do ICT test early I did at 28 and 36 weeks insist on knowing the test result as soon as possible. In my case who knows what would have happened if I waited one more week like the doctor asked me to.

Also follow your instinct, if your spirit say something is wrong follow up, even when Dr. says otherwise seek different opinions of drs./ hospital of course its your pregnancy even your dh can only feel concern he does not wear the shoe.

Right now my son is so attracted/has a bond to/with his father am jealous, maybe because it took almost 12 hours before I held him and his father was first to hold him

I honestly do not like sex and from the day i got a BFP, i gave my DH confim yellow card. I was recently talking with my mother in the Lord and she kept emphasizing it that I'm supposed to have it at least twice a week till my EDD for easy delivery. Experienced mamas, what will happen if i don't? At least some women are not usually with their husbands during pregnancy and their delivery is still smooth.

Mama, believe your baby will turn, remember you will be speaking to your baby when you give birth. Pray and speak to the baby in your womb to turn and baby will turn.

I know they hear us I always speak to mine and baby does what I ask. At first it seemed odd talking to my belly especially before baby started moving but i got used to it and baby will kick in response.

Network was bad for me yesterday.
You are not alone with that leg pain, mine is on my right hip down to my foot. Sometimes I drag to walk.
Once in a while I get muscle pull on my leg, most painful thing ever ... I will scream and scream... till my NeuroGesic works in. Am doing nothing for my hip pain, as it is internal, on my bone socket.

Discussed it with my Doctor last Tuesday, he okayed the NeuroGesic, and said it's part of the preggy package.

What did your doctor prescribed that is not working?

Good day ma, you are not alone on the muscle pull have been getting it almost 2 months back. In the mornings when i stretch next thing is muscle pull then i will scream and DH will ask me to kept still don't move your leg it's so painful he will rub it until it stops, now i have learnt i never move the leg as soon as i feel the muscle pull and it helps a lot i just know to get a leg massage.

Thank you for the mention, I will try popping in more I have few time to be with my phone due to my work schedule. And I Pray for a stress free pregnancy for you, me, our teamee and all pregnant mamas on this thread.

Is it normal to feel angry with your dh almost on a regular basis when pregnant ? Because that's how I feel since the past three or two months. The thing has a pattern. I will be angry with him today then in a good mood tomorrow then angry next tomorrow and so on.
My annoyance doesn't even have any serious reason, I just find little things that he does and get soooo pissed off over them. This afternoon we had a small misunderstanding about my missing his calls when he tried to call me and I reacted so angrily as I usually do when this strange pregnancy anger visits. The issue was not even that serious, he just mentioned that I should return his calls if I miss them and I got so unnecessarily pissed again. He went out and came back with Fanta and meatpie just to douse tension

but the anger mood swings no gree leave me, I kept acting like a jerk after that. Now he has left the house completely for me

I know he will be back sha, we always settle these things in the end but am tired of the constant unexplainable anger. I just go from calm to very very angry in a short while over little things. If I wasnt married to such a patient person things would have gotten so bad and many hurtful word would be exchanged.

Pregnancy has different sides and this is one of the side dear.

I get irritated too like you, only way I response in with a very serious joke, and then he jokes back soon enough anger has disappear then we would be laughing... then I would say am not taking to you again, is it not you that ( say the offence) he would always offer to make amends and that would pass. Believe me sometimes I laugh when he says sorry because de mata no even get head sef.

However, don't be too hard on yourself, just know he would want to share in how you feel and would not want to inconvenience you in any way as he loves you.

1. If it is cost of food ( serving smaller portions, that could save cost) but you will buy plates, spoons, and nylon to pack the food.

2. Overall cost might still be saved if:
you can rent the plates at cheaper rates, say from your church welfare department. and have your friends and family members serve the food.
