Same here. It is been acting up really bad. I am waiting for other info on X. I will still put it in a shelf and be using my Airtel. Hardly any difference these days of war. SolomonGrundy: Is starlink down for everyone or it's just at my end? |
Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by twosquare(m): 6:51pm On Mar 31 |
That's true. Some websites are not opening, while some are. It may have to do with that one of their satellites that went kaboom in space or so. morikee: Highly degraded Starlink service since yesterday |

Northern Nigeria? If opportune, I will share with you my speed when I reach Ekiti State. It is spacious with less obstructions why pointing at the sky. It is chaotic where I am. morikee: For North mini dey hit 300mbps |

Osun State (Ile-Ife). Not everyone is in Lagos, bro. I will be taking it along to Ekiti this Easter to see if I can unleash its full power without obstructions. dastudent: Which part of lagos? |

Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by twosquare(m): 9:01pm On Mar 30 |
I tried to activate mine tire today. Maybe it contributed to it sha...but now browsing...but the speed is still low due to misalignment by 9 degrees (15 mbps). Much obstruction here. Will take it along for Easter for proper testing. johnnyholtby: Yup, you're right |

Or you can get a HITHIUM HeroEE 2kWh on Jumia. There are enough reviews on it, and it is not as costly as Ecoflow (which is the Apple of power stations). Ecoflow is still better sha. @Segun2222 ...check it out. morikee: Ok the 2kWh go cost how much |
Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by twosquare(m): 2:21am On Mar 25 |
Cool, but I will go for something trusted...I am not even talking of Ecoflow. I have checked the brand, tempting but not reliable for me as there are no proven track record. Even used Anthropic's AI to probe it. Also, can't use anything that is not 48v. I am looking for quality... Segun2222: search haisic 8kwh on nairaland here of jumia...it's just battery alone might though |

Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by twosquare(m): 7:11pm On Mar 24 |
Buying via referral will give you 1 month of free credits for a subscription. Purchasing via the official website doesn't take long to deliver. It is fast. yubiman: If I want someone to use my referral link, must they buy from the official website?
Can't they get it if they buy from the likes of jumia and Co? |

Kindly provide link...don't use direct link because of the bot here. Segun2222: theres currently am 8kwh battttery going for 900k ecoflow is just blatantly ripping us off |

Lol. I am planning to start using this after Easter, I think. Let's wait and see. I don't know when they start counting their billing, if after confirmed delivery or after activation. morikee: Enjoy me I'm yet to open my Gen3 cus i surely know say i go need pole mount adapter |

Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by twosquare(m): 11:10am On Mar 23 |
johnnyholtby: You don't have to create a ticket. Delivery period is usually based on where they're shipping from. It very fast if they ship from their warehouse in Lagos and considerably slower when they ship from USA. They've already sent me a message not too long ago. Guess it's because it's close to weekend. |
Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by twosquare(m): 10:06am On Mar 23 |

Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by twosquare(m): 10:04am On Mar 23 |
morikee: Omo wey above my budget So, just go for the Delta 2. I just wish the actual one were available, the one with 1 kWh and 1800 output. It is really good and the most ordered of their products. The ones I see on Jumia are with solar panels, which bumped up the price. No value for money. You can get two good 715-watt solar panels for the cost added to the ones I saw on Jumia. Maybe you should wait for Easter discounts, sha. Even on their official website, it is sold out. |
Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by twosquare(m): 9:45am On Mar 23 |
Please, everyone, how long does it take for Starlink to deliver after ordering directly from their website? |
Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by twosquare(m): 9:42am On Mar 23 |
morikee: Ok the 2kWh go cost how much Around 1.3m. I am currently using the Delta 2 I bought in December 2024. If I want to upgrade now, I will be going for Ecoflow Delta Pro (1.8m). When I move into my own house, I can think of a standalone solar setup. But for now, 2 kWh is okay. |
Phones › Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by twosquare(m): 8:32am On Mar 23 |
morikee: Abeg how much is Delta 2 and 3 thanks 600k/700k and 1m, respectively. I prefer you go for one that is 2 kWh and above. |

CuteMaro: With starlink you don't have the option of intermittent subscription, it's like a contract. Once you're in then it's a monthly thing. The wifi coverage for the mini is very poor, same for the gen 3 so you might end up needing a wifi extender depending on your space. I know it is a monthly thing, but you can cancel your subscription before the next month's own kicks in. The way you say it, you sound like you will be forced to subscribe monthly even if you do not have the money. The issue here is that if you are in a congested place, then it is not recommended, as one may not be able to reactivate it again, since there is no space. Yes, I will get an extender if need be. I live in a self-con at the moment, so coverage really shouldn't be an issue. |
