Wow! So it has its own fields. Can you please give a list of specialization under VA. Also, is the alx VA program a good place to start as a beginner?

I also saw the alx ads on Instagram and applied for their free AI training. I haven't taken the VA course before but judging by the reviews they've gotten and the fact that it's made for Nigerians and African, it worths going for.

This is just you deciding what your contents will be based on. For example, my niche is in finance. Yours can be in sport where you write about messi and ronaldo or latest news in sports.

- Research popular topics and trends in your niche: For example in sport, we are in the champions league season, so you can find a topic in this regards to write on. Or If your niche is in relationship, then you can write about "how to have an everlasting marriage". These are trending topics.

- Define your target audience and their needs
You have to know who your potential readers are. For example, I knew my audience on nairaland are in the business section, and that's why I posted this here. So you have to know who your audience are, and where to find them.

Recall that honing your talents is an ongoing process. The majority of the previously mentioned skills, such as project management, data analysis, and UX/UI design, are available on a number of websites, such as LinkedIn Learning, Coursera, and YouTube. I think this is a skill that everybody needs to have. We all engage in sales everyday. Even at an interview, what you're trying to do is sell yourself, your skill to the company. Sales is all about convincing someone to trust you with their money. So when you go for an interview, you're trying to make them trust you that you are capable to give value and make them pay you every month.

So what comes first? Giving value. Hence sales is a skill that you should have no matter your niche.
The earning potential from developing your sales skills is unlimited, as many sales professionals not only earn massive commissions, but go on to progress into high-salaried roles or even become a company owner doing crazy numbers every year.

Web development doesn't necessarily means learning how to code. If you can learn how to code, good for you. If you can't, then learn how to use site builders like WordPress, wix, to make different web projects.
