vivicintia: Please which medium is better Paper or online This paper route seem to be tedious On route is better than the other, it depends which is more convenient for you. Paper application you get to do your biometrics and you can submit all photocopies of your docs (voluminous paper work) and originals of those docs addressed to IRCC (Cic, Canadian embassy. Your passport will also be collected as well and you won't go to the vac again unless to collect your processed application result & passport. Paper route is also cheaper. Online application gives you the opportunity to submit your application at the comfort of your home but you will scan all docs with their combined size for each upload shouldn't be more than 4mb. Days later you will get a notification in your cic account to go for biometrics with a letter. A little more expensive and if you're not within Lagos or Abuja (depending on the vac you used) it will be stressful traveling to and fro leaving work. But online you get first hand information about your application although paper application can also be linked online too. Both processing are favorable. The choice is yours |

Don't bother too much about Police report certificate, if the vo has issues with security, that will be requested for. If you don't have any criminal records in Nigeria don't bother to get a Police clearance. Cic normally use it for security purposes. Only those that has been in a foreign land should get a Police clearance from the country they have lived in more than 6 months to show that they respected the laws of that country and also didn't violate their visa. |

Maxihyfr: How would i den sign dem?! Most applicants don't sign them online but I signed mine electronically because I used my personal computer system to fill and submit. For paper application, you must sign with a pen For online application, you can sign electronically but if you can't then it's not a problem So many applications has been approved that were not signed as well as the signed ones |

Maxihyfr: Anybody?! Download the forms and fill them in your computer system. Make sure your Internet is connected in your system so you can validate them. Then you can upload them in your cic account if you're submitting online but if paper, validate and print out |

nacos: Hello everyone, For someone that applied online in a country where there is no visa application center, how can he figure out where in the world his application is been processed? Can he calculate his processing time using the country he sent out online application or the country where the application is been processed?? Use the country where you applied online to check the processing time. If you submitted online in Turkey then use Turkey to check the processing time. If it is in Kafachan then use Kafachan to check the processing time |

I’ve been following and I just submitted my application via the online route.
Please pray for me and add me to the hopefuls. I can share what I submitted with anyone who cares to know.
Please when will they call me for biometrics and how long do we think it will take before they get back to me?
Thank you! Biometrics takes 1-4 days but it can also be 7-30 days. No one can give you the actual day for it. check your cc account everyday to know when you get a letter for biometrics. be cool |

vivicintia: Hi guys,
Please can I use one Month bank statement for sponsor for study permit application
Thanks No don't. Your application will be refused for financial reasons and source of funds in your gcms amongst other reasons. You can go with a 3 month statement if the pages are up to 30. But 4-6 months are mandatory. |

jnyuwa02: I have seen many, very many denied for failure to show funds on how they are going to defray their travel cost to Canada. It’s even one of the generic reason for denials a VO can check on the refusal sheet. They don’t want to speculate whether you can run around and get ticket after visa is granted. They want to see evidence. The person that got visa without SOA I guess convinced them one way or the other he could get ticket or he simply was just lucky. It’s great when it happens, but I dont speculate on luck here either. I have to advise based on evidence not luck. Every fund necessary for applicant can be known via his sponsor bank statement or his personal statement if he's self sponsored. A visa officer has so many logical ways of finding out if the said application is buoyant enough for any expenses the applicant might incur. Prove your financial abilities in more than one ways and you're good to go |

Omonoba1981: The documents are with no ending, so I took the most important part. Go to the last page, at the end you will see a note. That screenshot will help. The ones you screenshot are just generic reasons for refusal. The real note by the vo is at the last page. |

Anike22: Thank you guys. What I did differently was that this time I applied online instead of paper and also I attached a letter from a lawyer explaining and defending and tackling all the refusal reasons with excuses. I would share fully when I get my passport back and all. Thank God for your successful trv application. Please Ma , i would really appreciate it if you can send me a copy of that lawyers letter. godisdgreatest01@gmail.com Thank you, God bless you |

Osemigho: The implication of your silence now would be when you apply for permanent residency, they would ask for your UCI number and linked your student application to it.
Don't silent anything, apply for EE instead. Once you become domestic student, you will have more admission and funding opportunities. You can even do another undergraduate degree after then if you like. Baba please check your email. |
