Please house, I think there's change in the Biometric rules, if you have submitted bio in the last 10 years then you don't need to submit again. I noticed this in a friend's application. He submitted late July. Am I correct or wrong? Because also a date of previous bio was updated in her application.. please comment house |

Announcing Announcing. The miraculous approval of my TRV after 2 denials (paper based application.
Third application: Online. Submitted April 13th (coinidentally my mum's death anniversary). Medical request 13th of June. Approved 19th. Just saw it today
This application was not in anyway much different from the previous two. In fact it lacked more content than the previous two. No explanation provided for the points raised for the denials, less money in my sponsor's account, no properties document, even my SOP was very brief and just one page.
The difference was just God (i fasted and prayed like never before in my life) and the fact that my sponsor (sister) is now a PR, who is still living in Nigeria.
My pple at Brandon. Abeg make we link up
Profile Bsc Computer Science 18 yrs old Only one sponsor Paid my school fees since first application
Special thanks to MaxiUde, Glitteringstar and Erons. My sister reached out to you guys and you all helped out Congrats |

Thanks mate.. please those that are using paper route vfs lagos to the precise. Kindly give us update just like this moniker |

JoseJonn: It was a mistake the date is even sixteen but when I log in via GC key it shows that it was received on d 17th that's what confuses me. Your application got to the embassy on 17th .. yes you submitted on the 16th and because of transit time between vac and embassy that is why it was received on the 17th. So kindly use 17th to do your counting |

Aallizzwellwole: Thanks boss. I don't know how the guy just reasons that way. Pls I want clarification on this, because am seeing this for the first time. It's possible to inform me that my
16th of May, I got an update that, i)your background check is completed Ii) you do not meet the eligibility requirements III)your application is refused
17th of May, I got another update that I) we regret to inform you that you did not meet the eligibility requirements ii) we regret to inform you that your application was refused
I don't understand what they mean with the two updates and I don't know if anyone have witness this before. jnyuwa02: If you observe the two letters you got are practically saying the same things. It is not unusual to get simultaneous notifications. My advice is to order for your Gcms notes. If it doesn’t indicate on the generic checked denial letter that you have been banned and it said nothing to that effect on the GCMS, it definitely means you have not been banned. You can reapply tackling reason(s) you were denied. If you successfully do so, you will be given your visa. Frankrobbn1: Aallizzwellwole,
I'm afraid you've been given a 5 years ban. Kindly explore to countries like Malaysia, Philippines, Germany, Ireland, Cyprus etc.... and start processing your visa.
All the best! All misrepresentation case is a ban of 2 or 5 years. From your posts, it's an issue of SOA. Frank is correct according to IRCC laws. In your gcms note you will definitely see the ban. Your argument should be case/application review if truly there's nothing unusual about the said account. If there's something shady in the SOA kindly save your time & money and consider other study destinations before Canada. My little contribution . . . Tyler |

Can we still go ahead and submit the statement like that? The person is claiming employment and has employment letter, reference letter and payslip already. @Austinpee has already answered you but to add to it. Kindly explain in your SOP. |

Frankrobbn1: Hello gerrymini:
I'll advise you don't put up such application. Are you using this sponsor just to achieve your TRV or is he truly interested in financing your studies in Canada? Your sponsor (a family friend) giving out his financial documents to you has not satisfied the visa officer the permanence of his financial commitment towards sponsoring your studies in Canada. Considering that this sponsor is a third party (a family friend) and not a direct relative to you makes his sponsorship unrealistic to the visa officer because you haven't shown any evidence of past or ongoing financial support from him and limited proof of relationship with guarantor makes your chances very slim. You stand a chance, if this sponsor is a close relative to you (Father, mother, brother, sister, uncle or aunt).
To avoid stories that touch and coming back here to seek for an advise. i'll best suggest you stick to what jnyuwa02, has just said. Let your sponsor pay in money into your account or pay part/full of your tuition to show his genuine interest and commitment in sponsoring you.
My advise for you!
All the best! Without a history of your sponsor (in this case a family friend) supporting your academics in terms of funds, the chances of TRV is very slim even if he transfers the required funds required by IRCC. Funds will still be an issue because of past occurrences of most Nigerian applicants. If there is no history then kindly use him as a co-sponsor while a relative of yours should be the main sponsor. He should state where he will be assisting you as co-sponsor in his sponsorship letter. My little contribution . . . Tyler |

mcobex: I don't want you to take this personal(cos its not), but why will such questions be asked here when you can easily visit the school's and cic website to get this info without any stress? The earlier we start doing our own research the better cos things shouldn't continue this way. That's why there's too much repetition. Nobody want to do research but want already made answers. It's not right! |

But Someone here said it could take as short as two days. Please what are the chances of getting called for medicals when eligibility review has stayed for so long? Answers please....#getting scared. Vnjz: Thank you tyler, do you recommend i re-apply or i get an MSC degree and do a fresh application I will therefore write a new statement of purpose, if this differs from the one previously written, will it not raise an eyeborw as per change in intention,
sorry for my numerous questions , just looking for a way out I will recommend you get your gcms note ... and see what the vo says about your application in full. Personally I would prefer you get a MSc admission and then improve on your SOP.. Top points had been given in this page. Your intention don't have to change, make it better but first thing's first get your gcms note so we get a clearer picture. About reapplying with PgC admission its a big gamble. It can go left or right.. Regards Please stop dropping 3rd party link here, you have done this 2x now. |

I see where the purpose of visit comes into play. The best study progression for you is with MSc. The study plan you chose based on your undergraduate will be quite a mountain to scale through. Get a Masters admission and apply with a good SOP. I feel that your other docs are well documented |

jnyuwa02: Ha, he should be succinct ooh!! He should be better served not to write a story book. Try and establish questions and work towards answering them. Questions like Why the program he chose. Why Canada? Why not Nigeria? Correlation between past program or work and present one he wants to study. Employment prospect in Nigeria with the chosen program and future plans and ties that would induce his return back to Nigeria. Be specific and shoot straight. No time for cork and bull stories. 10 pages SOP moniker guy. ..... Jnyuwa02 has given the best tip.. Use it wisely and beg any guru to help you read it when you're done |
