2Ballz: It is expected that your period should trip low after a fibroid removal. In the process of the mass removing, there are also chances that the uterine lining can't be damaged. This little damage on healing may turn fibrous affecting shedding of the lining. This is itself normal. Provided that every other thing is normal, your bleeding will in time go normal. Thanks so much |

sugah: Well, It's now approximately 3 months since the surgery which should be ok but the problem is the complaints of swelling which will be somewhat uncomfortable or problematic when the baby starts growing. PT can show a positive from as early as the first day of a missed period..in her case, she's better off testing early and reporting to her healthcare provider for proper management. But yes, it's advised one waits 3-6months to properly heal before trying to conceive especially depending on the severity of the myomectomy. Thank you ma, I think I will try and get the strip tomorrow but I notice some brown discharge dz evening |

[quote author=RipVanWink post=89035809]i thought the norm is to avoid getting preggy for 3 to 6 months after fibroid surgery, to enable ur uterus heal properly to withstand the stress of pregnancy?? @pregnancy, if you can test with the pregnancy strip @ home...though its best to wait for 7 to 14days to avoid disappointments/false nega
Okay ma, thanks so much... even this evening I saw some brown discharge again |
