PlutoSenator: I have a Stanbicibtc account that I have not used for over five years now, I was thinking by now it would have been blocked or turned dormant because it is an account I don't use anymore.
I was so surprised today when at 4:26 PM, I saw a credit alert of thirty thousand, three hundred and forty-two naira, ninety -six Kobo (N 30,342.96) and the description was showing loan repayment till 28th April.
At 6:25 PM still today, I got a debit alert of nineteen thousand, five hundred and two naira, thirty -seven Kobo (N 19,502.37) from the same account with a description showing loan principal + interest pmt:00560.
And right now, there is a balance of ten thousand, seven hundred and ninety-naira, fifty-nine Kobo (N 10,790.59) in the account.
I know nothing about this transaction. I did not request for any loan. I did not make any withdrawal from the account. I have not used this account for over five years.
When I dialed *909# to check my account number, I saw another account number alongside the account number I was given when I opened the account many years ago.
I have lodged a complaint to the bank though but does anyone have an idea on what is happening in the account? Someone in the bank has used your bvn to open another account and is using it for fraud. The best thing is visit the bank asap to make a report. |

nairalanda1: You won't like the debt that results from paying subsides.
Plus, if we had removed subsides in 2012, by now Dangote would have been facing competiton, and there would have been a lot more investment and a lot more jobs because refining at home would be profitable. Enough to hopefully offsett the increase in fuel prices.
We are a one trick pony nation, dependent on one resource. That is the real koko, and that is why we have had and still have bad leaders, and why our economy is always weak and tired. Sort that, and we get better...and subsidy removal to among other things attract investment is one of several measures we gotta take. Goodluck Jonathan tried to remove it but due to politics they fought again it knowing fully well it was the right thing to do. Now the same fools that opposed it are the ones that removed it without adequate plan to mitigate the effects on Nigerians. Talk about hypocrisy, it's the myopic leaders. |

Nigeria is facing a multitude of challenges, including extended power outages, soaring fuel prices, and widespread insecurity. It's troubling that citizens seem to have become desensitized to these issues which can embolden ineffective leadership. Meanwhile, youths are more interested in social media fights than demanding meaningful change. Let's continue paying deaf ears and pretend all is well. |

Not until the youth decides to take back this country by revolution. We are in trouble.
All APC leaders will be disgraced. Honestly but it is so sad that the youths that are supposed to take back this country are busy expending their energy on Twitter over wizkid and davido fight. |

OredoPikin: During the 2015 presidential election campaign, the then President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was stoned by chanters of "sai Buhari" live on campaign grounds and with the whole world watching in northern states of Taraba, Bauchi, kaduna etc. These APC paid agents always organised themselves and go to PDP campaign grounds to shout "Sai Buhari" in 2015 Back in ibadan after meeting with the afenifere group, on his way out, these same evil people on the order of Tinubu stoned his convoy with sachets of water In the midst of all these abused on a sitting President, nobody called then unpatriotic, GEJ didn't threaten them with DSS etc but today, these set of evil people can't take half of what they dished out. They now call people calling the govt out for failure unpatriotic, and call themselves the real patriot
We will continue to remind them of their past and tell the younger generations of what they did. How GEJ handed a healthy country to them only for them to destroy everything under 8years Karma never forgives You've said nothing but the truth here but watch as apc rats will come and attack you like dogs. The last time Nigeria had economic development was under Goodluck Jonathan. I could remember when he removed subsidy and petrol price increased to #145, it was this bastards that sponsored protests everywhere in the country especially in South West. They forced Goodluck to reverse the subsidy. Now 11 years later they removed the subsidy but this time without plans to cushion the effects. One of the problems of this country is hypocrisy. |

Elusive001: We remember during the reign of Buhari how some peeps hailed and urged him on despite all our out cries about how bad and retrogressive his administration was. These peeps cheered while the country was ran aground. They blamed GEJ and PDP for the woes of the country. They said that he was repairing the country damaged by GEJ and the 16 years of PDP rule.
Now what is happening? The current regime no more blames the GEJ/PDP era, but the last regime. They now claim that the country cannot be fixed by BAT in just 9 months. 9 months? What happened to the 8 years their "Darling Daddy" spent fixing the "atrocities" of PDP? A lot of evil that happened in since May 29, 2015 have been unveiled by this regime.
So we ask them, how far with una "darling daddy" fixing of the 16 year rots? Now they are cheering the experimental regime on. People like manna and his horde of zombies |

treesun: It was gathered that most of the residents of the communities have relocated to safer communities within the local government area while others have moved to Zaria Local Government Area of the state.
Residents of about 10 communities in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State have reportedly been sacked by terrorists who have sustained incessant attacks and kidnapping in the communities.
It was gathered that most of the residents of the communities have relocated to safer communities within the local government area while others have moved to Zaria Local Government Area of the state.
Daily Trust reports that one of the leaders in the affected communities identified as Malam Jafaru Anguwar Salahu, said that the residents of the affected communities, mostly farmers, are now living in their new environment as internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Salahu listed the displaced communities to include Sabon Gida, Anaba, Anguwar Salahu, Guberawa, Garu, Rafin Iwa, Gidanduki, Anguwan Najaja, Kunza, and Anguwan Magaji.
He was quoted as saying that “All these villages I mentioned used to have people, but now we were all displaced from our houses and farms. As we speak, we are now living as refugees in Gwada ward and other villages.
“We are only living, but we don’t know what to do.”
Salahu therefore called on the state government to come to their aid by getting rid of terrorists from the communities to enable the residents return to their homes and continue farming and normal life.
