On d other hand, a reason why I think it may not affect UNIBEN is because of d way she computes her aggregate. She divides JAMB by 8 nd adds it to ur PUME score divided by 2. So ur aggregate depends on both ur PUME nd UME score. But Unilag on d other hand uses jst PUME nd WAEC/NECO. So ur JAMB score dosnt matter at all, unlike in UNIBEN whr ur JAMB score gives u a raise. Nd u could see scores lyk 246 in JAMB nd 52 in PUME wouldnt get their desired course while 222 nd 72 would get it. So evry1 has an equal chance of raising their aggreg8 by killing PUME, OAU applies this too. But in UNILAG, its jst a pure battle of PUME survival, evn UI too. Its jst an assumptn tho.

The worse thing is that there is no Integrity in the execution or should I say its not transparent. What's the merit cut off used for medicine, what's the catchment. this one someone with a low score is eligible while the other with high score isnt.

exactly...even people having above 260 were declared ineligible! But will the same thing be done if candidates apply for Diploma?

I don't know what's going on.Seems that's what unilag got from them (jamb).That's the reason they stated the issue on site so it won't be wicked of them not notifying awaiting candidates that couldn't find thr eligibility notification.

Okay, if they wanted to do a thing like this, why didn't they announce it earlier. The painful aspect is that most people have been preparing for Maths, Eng and General paper.

I just checked for a friend vying for medicine. He had 263 but was ineligible. This is rubbish..nonsense.

Well wen I did mine 2012 my math questions was just abt 7 nd GK like 5 remaining were English questions so 4rm experience or shld I say dats it been done 4 most engineering nd env-SCI stdnt nd aside dat it take only few seconds 2 ans English nd GK question in as much yu knw it unlike mathematics dat yu av 2 take time 2 work out....

i do understand what you're talking about. Noticed it too.. I have a soft copy pq like that too. It was being emailed to ppl here for free..i think its just to give kinda like an idea of what to study for the exams.That should, however, not stop you from getting a hard copy as the questions are unambiguously solved and quite accurate.
