I make an OS for the iPhone 4 and term is iOs 9
I plan to make a new OS upgrade for the iPhone 4 and term it iOs 9.1
But that's left pending
I make a new device , the iPhone 4s and the supposed OS for the iPhone 4 (iOs 9.1) is used as the primary OS for this device.
A rat inside the organization leaks the OS (iOs 9.1) to the public (cos we know they are compatible with all iDevices)
So I halt any further upgrades . .
The public take my iOs 9.1 and install into the iPhone 4 (before my own official release)
As to be expected the OS is buggy.
So they split the OS core files (taken from the iPhone 4s; which has been enjoying upgrades) and do some addition and subtraction
to create a less-laggy environment . . and they name it iOs 9.1.1
more workaround produces the iOs 9.1.2 et al
In one case, the leak came from within the organization;
in the other, it was modified from the underground community . . .
Use ur brain carry the rest !

walcolm: your BB10 device downloads your messages based on your sync specification (whether you're actively using the phone or not, Facebook, twitter and other social media apps that are set up also do some updates in the background

you say chat...were you exchaging pictures and other files, viewing dp updates etc...those actions require data and BBM doesn't do the type of data compression that made the BBOS very slow and ridiculous

The problem with most of you guys is you hated the BBOS because it was not fast and could not keep up with the iOS and androids of this world..now that the bottle neck has been removed you're wondering what is going on but you like the fact that the BB10 is now very fast and capable of going head to head with the other platforms

DealMogul: Its not my experience with Z10...Blackberry still uses its data compression. BBOS and BB10 might be different platforms but they breeze through the same servers via out local networks. I'm certain you have an app (probably an android) that is a data-hog. Download a suitable data manager from BBW or any andriod store and you'll fish the culprit out.

IMO, 3GB is probably the most suitable data size for the BB10. Note that the Glo Comonth plan we use for the BB10 platform was originally made for a BBOS platform...and some people exhuast that before the end of the month on a BBOS phone...

henry007: different experience for me. I use approximately 100mb daily on my z3 but double that on my android without downloads . the difference is NOT negligible

BluePearls: Some apps hog your data.. you should look into it. Check your data manager to know how it's being consumed.

Anyways, I know that one can skin the BB10 with a launcher buh as a staunch crackberry I would totally hate to do that! I mean, that would taint the purity of the BB10 OS!!

Like I said, let him see more shots of the phone with the original OS for him to decide. Cheers

Besides, why would anyone need to skin the BB10 OS with a launcher, eh? I think the buyer would have been better off if you advice him to tell seller to remove the android skin and take another shot of the Z10 running pure BB10 OS. Or are you the seller ni?

stevolinkon40: abeg I won buy z10 from a nairalander and I requested for pix. The attached is wat was sent..is dis a genuine z10? Asking for 28k......z10 is not an andriod device, why is an andriod interface on d screen.
