This is something that can't be done in oversea countries...but here in Nigeria it's a norm an everyday routine. ..

NotOfThis has said it all, all I have to add is finger detangling is the best. It takes time but causes less breakage and if you want to use a comb, use a WIDE TOOTH comb. When I first started transitioning I used those small combs and literally saw all my hair falling out and it was very painful


Oh and comb, when your hair is damp and moisturised because it's way easier and causes less breakage


Good luck on you transition journey. Still transitioning too, can't wait to do the big chop. I don't have the liver to cut it yet, I want it to reach at least my shoulder

If you want to transition, do a protective​ style that'll prevent constant combing. Too much combing will cause your hair to weaken or break at the line of demarcation (the meeting point of your relaxed ends and budding natural hair).
