Everyone should remember that in 2023, Atiku Abubukar and Rabi'u Kwankwanso contested for the president of Nigeria after M. Buhari finished a disastrous tenure of 8 years. This decision brings to an end the unwritten power-sharing arrangement between north and south.

This means that anyone can contest for the president of Nigeria, irrespective of where you come from. After all, Nigerian constitution only recognises the 36 states and the FCT, not the two regions.

Labour party has their manifesto too. A very well written piece of literature. But as usual APC for propaganda purposes does not deal with facts.

That's why we are supposed to debate based on the economic and political realities on ground. And not rely on literature written by some experts.

We want to see if there is competence in the leadership of APC or LP. Not to review literature.

Because if we want to go down that route then the first port of call will be to review APC manifesto for 2015 and 2019 and compare it to the realities on ground as the current party in power.

I want you to understand me. If we are judging APC now we will use their manifesto to judge them, we will ask them to open their black and white paper so that we can ask them if they have achieved what they wrote on this paper?
Peter Obi on the other hand, what are we going to use in judging his performance after his 4 years?

The manifesto is meant to show us the direction of the government.
If Peter Obi can go on national television to tell us that he will turn nigeria from consumption to production country, then why is he afraid of put it on paper to elaborate on how he can achieve that.
