Like for a true Patriot, Dr Akinwumi Adesina.
Thank you for your support. We will never forget.

Thank God for the wisdom of President Buhari for putting one in AfDB and another at WTO, it's to ensure we don't lose on both sides.

Luckily, it is the one with the real money, power and clout that is the Omoluabi who remembered his fatherland Nigeria. The other seems like a puppet in the hands and clout of few minority of people who hate Asiwaju Tinubu and Nigeria.

This assurance and proposed investments in Nigeria is HUGE!! Thank you AfDB.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, you will succeed phenomenally to the shame of all the unpatriotic elements. For your hardwork, dedication and patriotism, well done sir. E ku ise takun takun sir.

God bless Nigeria for ever!

No problem, i hope you know section 64 sub 4, 5, 6 is dependant on section 47 sub 2. cheesy

Section 47 subsection 2 states;

(2) To vote, the presiding officer shall use a smart card reader or any other technological device that may be prescribed by the Commission, for the accreditation of voters, to verify, confirm or authenticate the particulars of the intending voter in the manner prescribed by the Commission

Section 64 sub 4 stipulated the ideal process collation & announcement of results .. wink sub (a) is what clears it all for me

(4) A collation officer or returning officerat an election shall collate and announce the result of an election, subject to his or her verification and confirmation that the—
(a) number of accredited voters stated on the collated result are correct and consistent with the number of accredited voters recorded and transmitted directly from polling units under section 47 (2) of this Act ;

According to the highlighted sub (a) it is clear the BVAS is what is being referred to & REQUIRED, only BVAS was used at the polling units for accreditation, and use to transmit directly from the polling unit,

therefore upon discrepancies or dispute the returning officier will seek verification using the BVAS as stated in section 47sub(2)

sub(6) Where during collation of results, there is a dispute regarding a collated result or the result of an election from any polling unit, the collation officer or returning officer shall use the following to determine the correctness of the disputed result—
Section 64 sub (6) reaffirms the BVAS as the decider & path to correctness.

I hope you are open minded enought to admit at no point was IREV mentioned or referred to ; so what exactly is Peter & his lawyers doing in court shouting IREV wink section 64 is the ALPHA & OMEGA of these case

I understand your logic and it makes perfect sense to me since BVAS is the primary source of accreditation data and form EC8A the primary source of election results. But the intention behind the law was to create a MAKER-CHECKER control mechanism to ensure that the results are not tampered with after conclusion of activities at the polling unit. The only way to guarantee that is to transmit directly from the polling unit. If LP has proof that the information on the physical form EC8A differs from what was uploaded on IREV then they have a solid case. Their case will only be jinxed if what they have on the physical copy corresponds with what is on IREV and their only basis of argument is that the results were not uploaded directly cos like u said, the collation officer can as well claim that he confirmed from BVAS since IREV was not mentioned in the electoral act.

Can you please highlight and screen much that part, i can't see it old age don dey worry me
The nairaland site is not allowing me to attach images, read section 64 subsection 4, 5 and 6 of the 2022 electoral act. Take note of the phrase "transmitted directly from the polling unit".

You lie.it states that they will be transmission not electronic transmission
Stop misleading people whats the meaning of "transmitted directly" from the polling unit, as clearly stated in section 64

All these are clear jargons.the prof said irev is a collation system and later said it is not.sorry,the judges have taken note
I am quoting the law here and not any witness, the law is very clear. In my own view the witness has done his job except the judges decide to use technicalities.

By saying irev is a collation system?
Of course IREV is a collation system, according to section 64 sub 4 of the 2022 electoral act, the result sheet form EC8A must be transmitted directly from the polling unit. When the presiding officer presents the result sheet at the collation centre, the ward collation officer must check the result on IREV and confirm that what is on IREV is the same with the physical copy that has been submitted by the presiding officer, it's clearly written in the electoral act. So if images are blurred or what is uploaded is different from what is on the physical form. Then there is a problem. So IREV is not used for collation, form EC8A is the primary source of election results, but the IREV is clearly part. of the collation system. In fact the law clearly states that where there is a discrepancy the ward collation officer will rely on what was uploaded. Read section 64 of the electoral act carefully.

They are attaching IREC results as exhibit to show the discrepancy between what is obtainable in the IREV portal and what INEC announced as results.
I get your point, if INEC uploaded the true form EC8As and then announced something different, and the petitioners are in possession of copies of form EC8As , then it will be very easy to prove that what INEC announced is different from the true results. But what if INEC also created fresh form EC8As and re-uploaded them to tally with what they announced. make we dey observe sha. All these their objections means they are up to something

Biko I have a question, in Adeleke vs APC and INEC , the supreme Court ruled that BVAS is the primary source of accreditation data and form EC8A is the primary source of election results, so I am wondering why the petitioners are still attaching IREV results as exhibits, shouldn't the time spent on irev be saved and spent on the EC forms and BVAS reports?

Do you see why we are where we are. These set of criminals holding us hostage would not let go easily, this election has really opened my eyes, so many of these so called elite are all benefiting from the rot in the system. INEC is clearly a faction of APC, notice how they use the same language when defending themselves, INEC is always defending APC and APC is always defending INEC. What they don't know is that the Nigerian people and international community have lost confidence in them.

When courts granted bail and the FG refused to obey, you hailed buhari as a no nonsense man, when a sitting chief judge was disgracefully removed from office without following due process, you all hailed, when innocent protesters were shot with live bullets you all hailed and mocked the dead. When Soldiers were sent to the east in the name of python dance,.you all hailed, when the train was attacked in kaduna and an innocent doctor tweeted that she had just been shot, you mocked her asking " are you dead?." When a certain demography was threatened with being treated" in the language they understand". You all hailed. Now that you are being treated in the language you understand you are all running around like headless chickens. Karma is very sweet. The jungle has matured. Anybody caught disturbing the peace of our lovely country in the name of protest should be shot on sight. the same governors who heartlessly hoarded our covid palliatives after ordering us to stay at home are now claiming fake love for "our people" . Very funny.

This is what FELA saw about Nigerians many years ago, Nigerians are in love with Suffering, they love SUFFERING AND SMILING, they are very easy to decieve that's why we have one of the worst set of politicians in the world. This is a country that has retrogressed in almost all development indices within the last seven years because of an intentional mistake of electing the wrong candidates TWICE. you would think that they would be grateful for an opportunity to correct their mistakes but no, here they are preparing to hand over the country to the same set of people lthat has brought it to it's knees. I pray we don't miss this government in a few years time. No wonder every new government seems to be worse than the previous one. Very strange set of people.

Stop worrying about the kids, ending the marriage doesn't mean shes no longer the mother of your kids, it only means she's no longer your wife and cannot enjoy the benefits of being your wife. Find a way to work around the issue of the kids, she will always be their mother and you their father.i always tell my wife that the day I catch her cheating is the day the marriage ends, I may forgive you, but the marriage is over. My life is more important than any other thing.

It is now clear to all that the north don't vote party, they vote individuals. During the last election APC comfortably won states in the north in the Presidential election but lost some of those same states to PDP in the governorship election. The north has decided to queue up behind Atiku. I am even using one eye to observe the so called Kwankwaso that Labour Party is hoping to go into merger with. The north always support their own.
