History should be made a compulsory subject in secondary schools. A lot of the younger generation are not even aware of the country's history and thats why we keep repeating the mistakes our parents made in the past. Electing the same people that messed us up in the past and still expecting miracles. Continuing with the killings, corruption, nepotism, and tribalism of the past and still expecting that things will change for the better.

All these divide and rule tactics are all for selfish reasons. The defunct Biafran nation had an Igbo President from Anambra state (present day South East) and Obong Philip Effiong as Vice President, from Akwa Ibom state (Present day south south) . The so called " IGBO COUP" that led to the counter coup and ultimately the declaration of biafra was led by Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, an Anioma man from present day Delta state in South South region. He wasn't even from the south east but was conveniently labelled an IGBO MAN. But the same people will tell you that Igbos only have five states, Igbos are landlocked bla bla bla.

is it the same Catriona Laing he was always castigating , how can a perceived enemy be the same person to rescue you. From the look of things I wont be surprised if the UK had a role to play in this saga.

Have you ever wondered why we started our ill fated journey into recession immediately she left as finance Minister despite the fact that oil prices started falling as far back as 2013. Why food prices remained stable in 2014 and early 2015 . Why inflation jumped from 9.2% to 17.4% (unheard of in the history of Nigeria) less than six months after she left. Funny enough, she warned as far back as 2012 that we would find ourselves where we are now and advocated for the creation of a sovereign wealth fund. A certain "child of God" governor (Amaechi) and his cohorts (Uduaghan, Oshiomole e.t.c) frustrated all her efforts at saving for the rainy day. These same set of people frustrated the govt efforts at curbing wastage in the system E.g removal of fuel subsidy. It is very disgusting to see the followers of these same set of people criticizing NOI. Nepotism and tribalism have eaten so deep into the fabrics of our society. That's why we currently have a lot of unqualified elements running this circus show of an entity.

Lagos state is the smallest state in nigeria by land mass but they are richer than every other state. its not by size. ignore those hyping their empty and useless land mass

it is foolishness to keep doing the wrong thing and expect good results, its very clear to everyone that things cannot continue this way , something has to give, a lot of innocent blood has been shed with no progress. its better to resolve these issues once and for all than to keep coming back to the same issues every now and then.

It took them just two days to ban and enforce the ban because it affects them directly. But when it comes to issues affecting the poor masses they become helpless. If only govt was this proactive in solving the many problems we are facing.
