This ytd was for monday right? Yesterday was barely a jump? My return was green but little

It's for Tuesday. Updated ytd for Monday was 44.55%. Tuesday ytd as at 1am today when it updated is 47.89%. My portfolio reflected the huge 3.34% jump when I checked it this morning. Their ytd and portfolio gain/loss is updated 1am the following day.

Is this investnaija like cowrywise with pool of different fund managers or they are directly paramount?

Paramount is the name of the fund offered by Chapel Hill Denham on their app. Their app is called Investnaija. Paramount is the only equity fund on the app.

Paramount subscribers btw, the reason your weekend top ups were delayed was due to it being end of the month. Paramount replied me yesterday morning and provided some clarity for those who had a top up scare.

The YTD jump does not matter if the stocks do not weigh much in the portfolio. Paramount has 90% pure equity; thus, it will bring a lot of cash when the market is bullish. Try and navigate through the Zedcrest fund sheet to know how their portfolio is being weighed.

Zedcrest has 97% pure equity. Definitely brings way more green when the market is bullish. Also it invests heavily in the services sector which is performing great so far.

Paramount has the highest return for now if the market is bullish due to their huge weight on equity. The earnings yesterday are enough for this week unless Spartacus goes crazy.

Paramount and zedcrest. Zedcrest jumped a whole 3.34% yesterday. Crazy huge green. It's at 47.89% ytd. Paramount is now 39.72% ytd. Those 2 are doing wonders for me.

I'm no longer interested in YTD%, all I'm after now is a consistent, reputable and stable platform, my financial mental health and peace of mind is my utmost priority, the era of experimenting my funds with all these unserious fund manager's has come to an end,
it's Cardinalstone or Cardinalstone.

Yes everyone should do the one they are comfortable with. I am staying with zedcrest as I've had a seamless experience with them. Go where you have peace of mind. But we will continue to post ytd as usual.

Please I would like to know how Zedcrest do the postings,I deposited something small on 23rd of Feb to try it out but I didn't see anywhere on the app where I can see the what drops daily,I only see that my value was dropping and also my portfolio balance is showing something different to what i see when i click on the Equity fund tab,so I am confused.

Kindly explain how to monitor daily earnings or returns on zedcrest.

With zedcrest, I fund my wallet first, then fund my equity plan from my wallet. Your portfolio includes all the funds you have invested in zedcrest. Eg, the money in your equity fund, the money in your wallet, the money in your treasury bills bought on the app etc. Every investment on zedcrest + your wallet balance is what is shown in "Portfolio".

Your value dropped when you funded the equity plan due to the difference in bid price and offer price. that's normal. And then your money kept going down last week cos the ASI itself went down last week. Go back in the thread, last week was mostly red.

But if you're looking for an app that will show you the daily figure of your gains or losses, biko stick to cardinal stone.

Zedcrest now 47.79% ytd. Their 1am updates are annoying. But that is some beautiful green. Paramount yet to update, will msg them in the morning. Stanbic balanced also did green. Updated at midnight. Afrinvest also green. May the rest of the week be green.

It will reflect for sure; however, Paramount has yet to update my portfolio since last Friday.

Paramount updates are always very late on Mondays. Stanbic is by 12 midnight for whatever reason. But it will be updated tonight.

Your Sunday top up in Paramount will reflect on Tuesday, I believe.

Hmm,that could be but I don't think so. The dates are usually indicated.

Also, It's not always updated by 12 noon. Rarely even. Sometimes 2pm. Other times 3pm, 4pm. It varies.

My afrinvest on cowrywise is updated by 12 daily. I check by 12 each day and it's always updated. Except on Mondays when it updates later in the afternoon.

How long have you been invested? Won't the 20% early withdrawal fee affect your profit much?

It's currently the best-performing balanced fund, followed by the ARM balanced fund as well.

I already said afrinvest is red today. But updating the portfolio so early during trading hours is why I think the updates are from the previous day. By the time they update the ytd and portfolio, ASI is still moving up or down. I think this Afrinvest red today is the effect of asi being red yesterday. I think ni o. I'm not sure.

Considering how early Afrinvest equity numbers are updated during the day (12 noon), I think the daily updates are actually for the previous day.

Yesterday, UCap equity and Ucap balanced were green. Coral balanced fund - green. Paramount - tiny green. Afrinvest - tiny green. Everything else was just red.

I used Risevest in 2025 and enjoyed the 25% flat rate returns for 8 months with interest paid monthly. But now, 25% p/a interest applies only if you lock for 1 year. And with tax deducted, your 25% returns is really around 22% or 23%. Much lower if you lock for less than 1 year. But they're legit. You get returns monthly, tax deducted monthly, and withdrawal of unlocked funds is done within 1-3 days.

How do u see the green in afrinvest?

I do Afrinvest equity fund on the cowrywise app only. In cowrywise, the % gains of each fund is always in green. When it's a loss, it's red and the arrow head points down.

It's been mostly green days since I funded. Fund has been doing very well.

Has anyone using Stanbic switched funds from one investment to another before? How does it work and how fast is it? And will I be charged for switching since the original 90 days holding period is ongoing? I called them and spent 5 mins listening to adverts smh

Paramount onboarding was smooth for me cos I barely remember it. Na the ones wey stress me I remember well. They respond on twitter and they answer calls in my experience. Their minimum holding period is just 30 days only. Their ytd is updated weekly but your gains is updated daily and the % gains of your money from the time you fund is also updated daily. I haven't had any serious issue with them so far. The fund is my favourite of the ones I've tried cos that 30 days holding period even though the ytd isn't the highest.

How do you check if zedcrest is red or green?

Usually I can tell at a glance if my funds go up or down. But I usually follow their ytd daily too. They need a + or - % marker though.

Zedcrest equity fund ytd and portfolio is updated by 1am the following day. But it doesn't have that daily interest thing CD has. You have to be doing calculation yourself to know how much gains you made. CD is goated for that.

It hasn't been updated. It's updated weekly even though gains are daily. Will post once it is.

Exactly. I sent them emails to open account with them. Messaged them multiple times on Instagram as well. Nobody has time chasing any fund manager. They ain't even the highest in the market. It took them close to a month to reply to account opening enquiry alone. Ain't gat no time chatting no manager on WhatsApp. They dont need the money so we moveee.

Omo, any fund manager that I have to chase after is an automatic no. If they don't respond on social media, or by email or answer calls, I'm running in the opposite direction. Running. Doesn't matter how high their ytd is. I no too like stress.

That said, I'm guessing zrosk with their N5m minimum investment is for HNIs (or close) who don't need to follow up on their investment daily or even weekly. Me, N5m or N5k, I like to be able to monitor my investment and easily reach customer care in case of anything.

Your observation is correct.

However, Nearly all big names are currently gaining in the Stock market now, from MTN to Dangote Cement to GTCO and the likes.

Like I said in my video, the reason big names are driving this rally regardless of sector is because pension fund are still buying.

That's a lot of money getting into the market and Pension fund institutional investors are after big names stocks (huge market cap + liquidity)

That is what is currently happening in the market.

I will suggest everyone to get on board because, there will be more buying after CBN cut MPR rate.

You can contact zedcrest on twitter. They respond. When I had an issue with otp (different fund manager), it was from my network provider's end. Best to contact both to help resolve the issue ASAP.

Zrosk, zedcrest, paramount and stanbic for sure. Even most of the balanced/equity funds on cowrywise are green today. Ndo to the others o.

Wasted my time as well

Called stanbic last week about possibly exiting their balanced fund and they swore that if I make redemption request before 12 noon, I would get the funds in my bank account that same day. Ase na lie. I want to exit the fund but missing out on 5 days of trading isn't funny at all.
