Somehow as how? If you're not comfortable with the wide margin, you can do Paramount instead. They're at 29.91% ytd and the margin is not too wide from the others. Zedcrest, according to their fund fact sheet, invests 50% of investors' funds in the services sector and that sector is what is apparently driving the ngx right now since December. @Beeron, pls shed more light on this if you can.

I used zedcrest for mmf only when they first launched but their equity fund started in December last year. Don't remember much of the sign up process but it was smooth. As long as you update a very recent bill and the address on the bill matches the address you signed up with, verification should take a few days max.

The fund itself, redemption is immediate. If you redeem before 3 months, they debit their 20% charge. But you get your money in your wallet immediately. Withdrawal from wallet into bank acct is also fast. 1 hour max.

Paramount equity fund is 29.91% ytd as at Feb 19.

Zedcrest equity fund is doing really well so far. It's at 38.75% ytd as at Feb 18. Redemption was immediate when I tried it with 2k. Also, withdrawal into bank acct is same day last I tried.

Don't remember much of the on-boarding but I remember it was smooth. Address verification should take a few days max.

Emailed gtfund managers. Their % ytd as at yesterday was 18.41%. Stanbic ethical 17.90%. Paramount 18.85%. In case anyone is curious.

Yes I did. My capital went down a bit when I signed up and they had to call me to shalaye cos I was really annoyed. But it has recovered already. The fund went from 18.52% to 23% and now 24.81%. It's doing really well this bullish run. Apparently the fund is 50% invested in the services sector which is driving the ngx so far this year. Don't know how correct that info last part is though.

Is anyone doing GT equity fund by gtco? Can't find their ytd anywhere even in the app smh. But I'm seeing they did 80% last year as at Dec 24. Their customer service is also shit.

Yes, paramount is investnaija. It's card payment that is 2k. Transfer is usually N50 only. That's the method I use. Their app is nowhere as good as CD though.

Not only cardinal stone. But also not all balanced funds. Arm halal balanced and then CD are the highest balanced funds ytd, even beating some equity funds.

So many tempting equity funds. Not enough money 😭. Did anyone do stanbic imaan?

The CSOF is 100m for minimum subscription. Individual trading is cool; however, the timing, stress, and also trade volume are what made me go for equity. I already made 500k+ in 4 days now with 9.5M as my capital. I only have 25,000 naira in MMF currently, as I see it as a savings pro.

What's zrosk magna ytd? Tried to find it and their fact sheet but couldn't. Same for CD equity fund.

Didn't fund the zedcrest quick enough and missed out on 85k yesterday. Been so pained.

Zedcrest is now 23%. According to the January report, 97% if the fund is equities, while 3% is money market instruments. Paramount equity fund is sharing N2.44 per share in dividends but cut off date was January. The ytd as at yday is 14.39%. May today be greener than yesterday.

I said it jumped a whole 1% up to 11%. As in, it was at 10%, added a whole 1% and moved to 11%. Some only increased by less than 1%.

How soon after funding CD equity fund will it reflect? Same day or next business day?

Yup. Afrinvest jumped a whole 1% up to 11% while zedcrest went from 19.75% to 18.53%.

No way to invest on individual vendor anymore. It has to be a portfolio of selected vendors.

This is what I came to post about. And they pretty much forced me to update the app. I couldn't sign in cos the update prompt kept interrupting. Individual mutual funds are gone. Only mixed portfolios of several fund managers now. What a shame.

Existing individual funds are not affected at least.
