They're not heavy on banking stocks. I remember they didn't gain much compared to CS and PM on Thursday(?) last week when the banking stocks did heavy green.

Best time is January however anytime the market slows or turns bearish is also a good time to invest in an equity fund. Waiting until January 2027 isn't the best cos if the matket continues on this upward trajectory, the price of units would continue grow and will be much higher by January 2027. Sure, the ytd will reset to 0% but you'll be paying much more for units by then. We just entered the 2nd quarter of 2026 and a unit of zedcrest equity fund is N1.8 now. Could be N3 by January 2027. We still have 3 quarters to go and the ngx is looking to do good this year. Invest and let your money grow for the next 9 months.

Only way waiting till January 2027 will pay you is if the market turns bearish and stays bearish and prices crash but that's not looking likely so far.

Yeah I've noticed early updates around 12am twice now. From next week when trading ends by 4pm, most fund managers will start updating late night or early next morning.

Zedcrest cut off: 3 pm

I guess zedcrest doesn't have much banking stocks in their fund portfolio cos that green yesterday was so small compared to CS and Paramount. Topping up my CS very well next red season abeg.

Just in case you haven't already, make sure your location permission for the investnaija app is set to "allow all the time" and enable "precise location". Them stay at your house for 1 or 2 days at least and sign into the app a few times when there too.

This is what was shown. I multiplied the 1.86 by the units alloted to get amount to be invested which is around 189k. Far from 272k. Byt my maths is probably wrong. Cos even me, I no sure.

If you are using any fund manager for equity outside these 4, na you sabi. These 4 are to equity what stanbic is to MMF.

You’ve done the hard part already which is having the mind to risk your money on equity, so why not risk it with the winners?

I hope they know that if they miss the greens, they definitely wont be exempt from spartacus.

I think some of them are also waiting for 91 days holding period to be over. But honestly, if your capital has recovered, and the interest is small (then 20% fee on it won't be much), Sacrifice it. it's still better to remove it before that 90 days and port. Of course the decision is yours biko.

Torn between ZC and CS. I feel like ZC is still gonna do the best among the 3. But I really want to do CS cos it's booming like crazy. Paramount is my precious middle child that always gets love from me.

Mtn, aradel, firsthold, eti, oando. Whichever fund somehow holds all these will have a crazy jump tonight. CS might do better tha Zedcrest today. Paramount might have the highest jump.

Yes, only do a tiny top-up. If you top up now, your units will be fewer, and you will get tiny returns. Wait for Spartacus, and then top up aggressively.

Omo, it's difficult not topping up now o. I want to split about 1.5 from my stanbic balanced between ZC, PM and Cs and seeing this bull run pass me by dey pain me small o.

Remember that bull run in January that went on for weeks into early Feb. What if this is another one? Omo

I want to top up either zedcrest or CS. Already did a little yesterday. But who knows how long this bull run will be on for? Imaging waiting for red and the ngx just keeps flying and never comes this low again even in the next red day. Isnt that possible?
