Ruth Eze, a Nollywood actress, has stated that she would rather be in a relationship with a rich man who is unfaithful than date a poor man.

She mentioned this in an interview with The Punch, comparing her decision to how males allegedly enjoy tasting different soups and women.

According to her, impoverished men also cheat, thus staying with a rich cheating partner would be in her best interests.

In her words; “I will comfortably go for a rich cheating partner, because the poor one would also cheat on me. The way men like different soups is how they like different women.

The truth is that there is one particular soup a man likes very much. But, that does not mean they won’t test other soups. If one know that, as a woman, one would know peace.”

Ruth, who said the craziest thing she had ever done for love was to date a broke guy, however, adviced women not to depend on a man’s money for their wellbeing

The screen diva said; “The craziest thing I have done for love was dating a broke guy.


“Women should not depend on men for money. It is good to be independent as a woman. But, it is not a crime to enjoy your man’s money.”

The actress also spoke on the improvements she would like to see in the Nigerian movie industry.

Eze said; “I will love to see sci-fi films and computer-generated imagery in Nollywood, to meet up with global trends.”

However, he claimed that he had his doubts and was not overly shocked to learn that she was seeing someone else.

When the boyfriend attempted to get into the car to go, his girlfriend kept making excuses, which infuriated him.

He snatched the gift nylon and threatened to leave the content creator behind if he does not get into the car with him.

Habeeb Okikiola, nicknamed Portable, a well-known musician from Nigeria, has spoken out about his unpleasant experience in Italy, where he was scheduled to play at a concert.


He warned his coworkers to be cautious of the concert promoters who had booked him for threatening their lives.


Portable wrote a long post on his Instagram account lamenting how he narrowly avoided being kidnapped and shot.

Additionally, he shared recordings of him arguing with one of the supposed concert promoters who had picked him up late at night and taken him to a risky location where they had been robbed of their possessions.

In his words; ”After my successful eight shows so far in Europe. Had successful Tahoe in Parma Italy previous week. But the Padova Promoters turned to be inexperienced, inadequate, unprofessional, unscrupulous and disreputable. On faithful Saturday 29th October 2022, I arrived from Dusseldorf Germany alongside my team at 16:20 at Venice airport (Marco Polo Italy) and waited for over two hours before the so-called promoters came ( blessed entertainment and Alex Jeffizy) they couldn’t even pay the taxi guy the complete fares not until my manager payoff the fares.

”Up to 50% not until we arrived and they said they don’t have a balance until they sell drinks till 4 am before they can balance us and I can perform by then, we agreed and waited not until Alex and driver came back at 3:40am to pick us to the venue. The driver repeatedly missed the route and we spent over 2h 40mins on the road instead of 50mins. On getting closer to the venue, we discovered there had been shooting, stabbing and arson in the venue. Even Jeffizy himself received a series of calls that we should not come to the venue because there has been a serious massacre and we should back off. No security, bodyguard, or professional.

We forced the driver to stop the car before getting to the dangerous scene. Unknowingly for us that they got their thugs around the corner, and they collected the car key and demanded €2,000 which my manager gave to them to enable us to leave the unsafe scene. Jeffizy collected the money and Blessing Olise knows about it. ITALY promoters are not real promoters but scammers and lame people. Prostitutes ladies claiming to be promoters and uncivilized men that took a boat to Europe claiming to be a promoter. I warned every Nigerian artist to abstain from any so-called Nigerian ITALY-based promoters. They are empty.”

An encounter with a lecturer who taught him when he was an undergraduate in the university prompted a Nigerian guy to share his experience.

The lecturer is currently employed as a driver for an e-hailing taxi service, according to the person identified on Twitter as @Ol0ye.

He admitted that the man who arrived to pick him up was the one who had ordered the cab. He added that they talked about the past and that the man conducted himself with professionalism.




Oloye, however, said that when he reached his destination, the ex-lecturer asked to be rated five stars, but he replied him with a phrase he probably used to tell him in school which goes thus; ‘A is for God’.
