The interesting part is that they were named today, the house of assembly has screened them today, and they would be sworn in tomorrow.

There is major disquiet in the ranks of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari’s sudden trip to London.
Sources informed This Day that Buhari did not inform the party’s leadership of his trip, and he travelled to the United Kingdom with only two personal assistants. He was reportedly received at the door of the aircraft by the Nigerian high commissioner, Senator Dalhatu Tafida, and rode in the embassy official car to his usual central London holiday flat booked by his brother after rejecting the hotel booked for him by the embassy.

His friend of many years, Mamman Daura, was said to have been waiting for him at the flat and they drove in the company of one of his assistants to meet with the British prime minister, David Cameron, where Buhari and his host discussed security, corruption and the immigrant crises facing Europe.
Immediately the APC chieftains heard of Buhari’s trip, they hurriedly left for the UK. Notable among
them are the former governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi.
Amaechi was so desperate to meet with the president-elect that he did not mind flying economy with Lufthansa Airways after unsuccessful attempts to get First or Business Class seats.



Buhari is expected to stay in the UK till tomorrow night before returning just a day before his inauguration as the president of Nigeria, but his trip is a source of worry for the APC leaders.

I have been thinking of a this permutation for a while. With the Igbos having lost out in this permutation for 2015.

Could this be a blessing in disguise. Because if the incoruptible General finishes his tenure, God willing, he does 8 yrs, Power would definitely return to the south.
And if it does, igbos would be most favored to produce a president since the SS, and SW has got there share.

The Director General of Governor Yuguda Campaign Organisation in Bauchi state, Alhaji Mai’auduga has revealed that over N230 million from the presidency meant to support Bauchi PDP campaign for President Jonathan in the state has gone missing. Alhaji Mai'auduga revealed this while speaking to newsmen in Bauchi yesterday March 25th
"The State Campaign Council had already setup a committee headed by Governor Isa Yuguda to find the missing funds and whoever is guilty of the dubious act of diverting the missing funds will face the disciplinary action by the Party. The money was released to the State campaign council in two batches, one N80 million and N150million . They were diverted by prominent persons in the party and we requested the Governor to investigate and find the missing funds” he said
