1. I have read the bible and still read it these days not as a holy book but another piece of fiction literature in the mould of "Things fall apart, James hardley chase novels or the harry potter chronicles. They all share one thing in common. Historical fiction and if you get too engrossed in it, it might sound very real and true to you.

2. I probably know the bible better than you and if you quote this, i might just look up the passage or verse and quote other wise to contradict what you just said.

3.Yes your right, i stopped going to church when i realised that it was turning into a micro-finance bank filled with circus performers and wannabe conference speakers. I go once in a while when i am bored to catch up on the latest entertainment that i could have missed 6 months ago but i end up sleeping off when the pastor gets into his windy, long and boring fire branding message of the day. Anyway, the churches have a use to me whenever i go. Those pews are very comfortable when you want to sleep and they are really designed well. I ought to get one in my house someday.

4. I don't believe in the biblical god as the god that made heaven or earth or what so ever due to the inherent contradictions and half truths and uncompleted stories that can be best described as a fable. What i know is that how we are created is a mystery that hasnt been rationally explained and not because it hasnt been rationally explained by someone or a group, that doesnt mean we should now accept the stories of another group when it has no conclusive evidence.

There are so many gods ranging from allah to zeus, osiris, buddah, oduduwa etc with all different stories about how the world was created. If i can't believe the god zeus because it doesnt sound and feel right, what makes the god of the bible better than them? Theu all share the same characteristics of not been ever seen and their stories were written by the so called inspired men of these gods.

Until there is a rational and conclusive evidence that the biblical god made the heavens and earth, i will not rely on such fables as a source of belief. The most hilarious of the genesis story is the story that god removed a rib from adam and created eve. So god was involved in cloning way before dolly the sheep 5,000 years later? If he just created adam from dust just like that, why go through the stress of stealing a rib from adam and causing a deep sleep to create eve? at least when he made the male and female orangutans, he didnt remove the male tonsils of the orangutan to create the female orangutan neither did he do the same for the female kangaroos, male elephants and what so ever animals. Its even absurd to think of god just created over 100 million species of animals and insects male and female just in a day?

Besides when god said lets make man in our own image, werent there any women in heaven or wherever he was just floating around from?, Jeez gimme a break!

5. Finally how can i believe the bible is a word of a holy god? A book filled with monsterous atrocities of the highest proportion, slavery, murders, debauchery,immorality, misnognmy,curses, homosexuality, drunkeness and the like and you want me to accept that as a book inspired by a holy and good god?, Abeg bros, forget that side.

Dont even push me to start quoting all these evil and demonic passages from the bible again. Its too nauseating to even think of it.

Most times people pursue shadows instead of the real thing. Imagine somebody castigating past Chris because of his hair do not minding souls that are being transformed via God's word.
