arcahmad:Which of the electrical is 1.5m? I guess you're not talking about quality then Just 2.5mmsq single core cable, 100m Coleman or Kablemetal is how much? A 13A 3X6 Legrand or ABB socket or 20A switch is how much? A 4-Pole breaker, RCCB is how much, not talking about a din rail distribution board, ABB, A copper flat bar You must be referring to a very local and substandard Electrical and mechanical system Just a bath tub alone is almost the price you stated in the mechanical not even talking about PPR pipes or PVCs |
The question the man should ask is, how much did NNPCL pay to Dangote Refinery? Why should the marketers pay to NNPCL when they can pay directly to Dangote Refinery and wait to be scheduled for loading? Why is NNPCL is acting as a middle man? |
In Nigeria, when you make a statement, the people first check your region, religion and political party before deciding to agree with your statement or disagree This is how far the damage has gone... At the end, it's the masses that suffers We mostly act on speculations that facts. The fact that Nnamdi Kanu is held illegally and still some keep praising the government makes me worry while Sunday Igboho was involved in same act, he's now a free man in Europe, even holding rallies for the Yoruba Nation's or Oduduwa's Republic Well, regardless of who is involved, I will continuously stand on the path of justice and legality |
This is a welcome development |
I read some comments, I just laughed... Some even accused Dangote of being monopolist. How? You think Dangote is the only local refinery in operation in Nigeria? Dangote was ready to sell fuel until NNPCL rushed to increase pump price. They still control the pump price till tomorrow. Dangote came out to allege that even his own project is 15% less than the imported product, we'll kept quiet and did we didn't hear him loud and clear Wait until our local refineries gets starved of products to refine and see the massive loss of job. Everyday, we call for investors to come and invest, invest where? |
The problem is lack of political education of the Nigerian populace, in this case, Bayelsians. The kind of Governor suppose don know say his party don loose election already, but, in Nigeria, anything goes. Once we see small money lyk dis, we don forget say lyf dey after money finish |
pyyxxaro:Lol... Anyways, Isoko Wado! |
All the times, we talk about the Dangote Refinery... There are other refineries, though, not as big as the Dangote Refinery Let the media also focus on other refineries and the government should create a level playing ground for all the investors in refineries in Nigeria |
I have said this countless times... Marriage isn't religious. It's purely traditional, even in the scripture We're so confused in this part of the world cos we copy so much that we don't even know what to do anymore Furthermore, marriage is for two matured souls. Discuss everything and anything before saying I Do. There's nothing spiritual about being married. It's solely on maturity and understanding Mouth action, if it can help your home become stronger and better, it's fine Find time to talk to your husband |
Love800:I'm glad I could help. Enjoy the rest of your day |
pheelhip:It's been awhile I installed this for clients, the market is just too fragile to know the current price. But, Jumia, Konga or Jiji should help |
Love800:Yeah... So, the main metre is there, why the check metre is just to check what you personally consume, that, nobody is cheated or in this case, you're not cheated |
I will advice anyone sharing metre to buy a personal "CHECK METRE". This is not the regular metre, but, a check metre. It measures your energy consumption. Once you know your energy consumption, then, you have the idea of the amount to pay You can also suggest to the landlord or facility mgt company to install Check metres for all tenants or occupance, thereby, everyone pay for what they consumes while sharing on Metre |
ivandragon:You just used 70,000 as the minimum wage where it only affected Civil servants which are less than 30% of Nigerian workers. Some states are yet to even comply |
DevilsEqual:With 2.8B? Is that for the materials for services or structural members? I wouldn't know if I'm the only one confused here. Maybe you should explain the news better for someone like me |
I must say, this is very impressive! |
You see leadership... It will humble you! It has happened to me When he finishes as the president, the way he acts and talks will change totally! |
1Sharon:Ooooooohhhhh... So sorry, I think it was an oversight So sorry about that Enjoy the rest of your day |
1Sharon:So, how did your mother became part of your family, if your dad had this notion then? You see, there will be more problems in the social space in the nearest future if we continue to have this kind of baby mindset. You have to grow and start taking stands now on how you want to raise a beautiful home. Every home you see today beautiful has lots of scars, but, one things stand out, preference for your immediate family. This is why your wife will see you as your mother's supporter and she won't invest in that business with you. She won't see that future with you. Because, over time, you've shown it to her she's not part of your family And note, it's how you carry your wife in the mist of your family, that's how your mother and your siblings will carry her. If your family knows you cherish your wife and disrespecting her means disrespecting you, their heads go correct, except you're an irresponsible husband and sibling |
Demurray:In the marriage institution, once you marry, both of you have good and bad character. There's no perfect home. You just have to stay on top of the situation as a man intelligently Sometimes, even you don't understand yourself! So, choosing who to protect due to character for me shouldn't even come up |
Marriage is for a very matured. When I mean maturity, I'm talking about Emotional Intelligence Once you're making plans to marry, there's a level of boundaries you must put in place, otherwise, you'll ruin yourself out of carelessness Your mother can complain and quarrel, my son sucked my breast for a year plus, your son will suck his wife's own for over 30yrs. The love for mother is quite different from the love for wife, otherwise, you could have just married your mother then. There's no point of comparison. Infact, you should never tolerate these comparison. Learn the difference When matters arisings in the home, as a man, don't takes side, listen carefully to both sides, trust me, they're both women, if you're not intelligent enough, the one with sweetest tongue will buy you over. Carefully, listen intelligently and resolve the issues differently. Speak to your wife separately as you speak to your mother in like manners If the issue persist, oya, mama, come dey go! Let there be peace! You might get to some point that you can't just stand in the middle anymore, you just need to save your home. Some mothers are very insensitive and hence, can say dangerous things that can affect your wife psychologically and even her self esteem. So, at some point, you must protect your wife. If you don't, who will? She left her home to join and build a new home and family, so, you're the first sibling she has... My mom's love for me almost caused serious issues when she came when my wife delivered. I had to remind her of boundaries, mama sharply re-adjust and there was peace and harmony again. Peace to your home for everyone going through family issues |
Samson Siasia should be hired, but, I know this NFF gang, they will want someone they can control Siasia is very close to Eguavon too and other former footballer. He's also the son of the soil. Has got loads of experiences, both home and abroad He understand the Nigeria style and game culture |
These people will blame everybody except themselves You should be telling us this is what you met and these are what you've done for the past one year to reduce smuggling Abi na me civilian wan reduce smuggling? |
Shikena:Of course yes. I totally agree with you. One of the policies I enjoyed in this administration is the "NEW ELECTRICITY ACT 2024" that allows individuals and private entities with the necessary capacities and tools to generate, transmit and distribute electricity Lagos State government is at the final phase of their paper work regarding that policy. I was in the NSE seminar where the guest from Lagos State affirms this statement. Hopefully, it will yield positive results |
Shikena:This is a citadel of higher learning. If there's a problem, they should create a solution. Our institutions are short of ideas, hence the students they produce Aside Tidal, there are other renewable energy source. I still believe Tidal can still work. They can dredge, after all, the government has been dredging those areas for years. Reason in my other post, I tagged the Federal ministry of environment Unilag suppose to generate her own electricity and with the new reform, with working with the state government, they can sell to neighbors. Lagos State is almost done with their paper work on this |
A citadel of higher learning... Sometimes, when I hear news like this, I feel so sad! So, what are they teaching the engineering students there? You have a massive lagoon at your back. There's renewable energy policy already in place, so, the school can't think outside the box except FG's bailout! Nawa! |
I'll continue to say it... Protest, whether sponsored or not, whether people will cash out or not has one objective, reduce the suffering of the masses! We're so difficult in this country that will pamper our leaders, then, fight ourselves. Who does that! I was very active in the last protest here in ALAUSA, Ikeja. And I'm glad I did, it was very peaceful and even the govt tried to give us some tp, but was rejected promptly. Uniform men later joined us! The truth is, we're acting exactly like slaves that loves their chains. Even the countries we're japa...ing to can't take these tolerance from their leaders. People fought for that. Seat down at home and be saying some will cash out or the govt won't listen. If you're benefiting for these charades, don't forget, you have brothers, Aunty, cousins and others who are weeping daily Protest is legal by all definition. The security agencies have just one duty, to keep law and order. Anyone who steals or cause unnecessary panic in the processes, should be dealth with seriously. This should be our messages I've worked with many of these politicians. They barely care about the commoner. Funnily, it's the oppressed that is still defending them. Or you think Farz or Femi Falana, Sowore and others are hungry. By God's grace, I'm doing fine myself. I won't go hungry, but, trust me, staff will be sacked if things continues like this. Our leaders knows we're too weak to demand for good governance, they know! They also know those that will speak out, so, it's easily to mount pressure on them, but, if we rise in our numbers and say, no to these insensitivity, the govt will be afraid but to do the right things. Dem no born any agberos in Ojota and ALAUSA to hijack the protest, these can be replicated everywhere of we're truly serious! |
Apus:No company that will pay you above 250k and won't stress you. Like, stress is the bedrock of these kind of jobs. Just say goodbye to sleep as you earn higher |
In the midst of hunger and suffering... What's your definition of a flopped protest? In Africa, we're slaves that loves our chains! I was proudly part of those who was part of the final day of the protest here in ALAUSA, Ikeja. And it was very successful and peaceful at the same time. Infact, the military joined us as we collectively spoke our mind out. The political actors right now are convening meetings upandan, because they know this is just a litmus test and shouldn't be joked with |
DND069:Notice most of our celebrities since last year to this year are dating ladies outside the country. Few like Davido said in an interview the reason he chose the wife! Men are very critical in issues of marriages even dating as in the case of celebrities Our young ladies should start learning... The world doesn't ends with me, myself and I. Even so called Pastors are now running from Nigerian ladies. Something must be wrong fundamentally! |
7demons:I love what you said, "dating is a trial stage". In a trial stage, a lady needs to understand and know if the guy is capable of footing the bills. The guy might also decide they get water or something that fits his pocket. Ladies, please and please, don't behave irresponsible on a date. Be prepared to also take care of the guy. Do something responsible that makes you different! The problem here wasn't the ordering, the issue is ordering without his consent. It's simple courtesy. I read where some said, take care to a park, se Dem no dey sell things for park? It's a date... Both of you wants to know each other. The responsibility of taken care of the day can come from any of you or both of you. But, most ladies in Nigeria have this sole mentality that a man should call for a date and foot the bill! Anyone can call for a date. A date is a date! So, however it looks, act responsible |
siofra:Please, come again! So, any guy that sees a lady pay for "anything" without paying it for her doesn't love the lady? I wanted to know if this was what you meant. If that is what you implies, I'm sorry to say, you're still single, I guess! The essence of you working is to take care of your needs. What is even wrong with us! You work and crave for independence, and you still want to be dependent on a guy in a date! This is 21st century. If a guy invites you for a date and he never mentioned order for food, you better respect yourself. Ordering food without his consent is even a red flag. If you must order, then, you should be able to pay for what you're about eating. It's self respect. If the guy pays, fine! If he doesn't, he doesn't mean he's not a serious dude, it means you should be more cautious next time Before you come crashing on me... I'm happily married and in our first date, my wife showed me maturity, even rejected my money for tfare. That act alone showed maturity and a responsible lady. I wanted to know more about her and the rest they say is history... When two matured persons go out on a date, let's be very responsible and be civil! It doesn't take much! |
