What does your support for a candidate in an election you would not be participating in mean?

Abeg face your state which I'm sure is Anambra but you wish yo familiarise with Delta.
What's your point exactly... I have direct influence with my family in Edo State. That alone counts

In addition, I'm from Delta State. Deal with that!

I'm from Delta State... I must not come from Edo State to talk about the state. This is why we're backward in development, yet, same you wants to travel to US and UK to make it

I look forward to a nation I can speak and contribute my quota to without being asked, where are you from?

You kind of mentality takes us back to the 50s. What a pity!

What a shame!

You jumped across to come talk about Esan and Non Esan. Who is your father in Edo state to come divide the state as such?

Goodluck, pls focus on your Delta state where you have rotten imbeciles ruling you and leave Edo out of your mouth.

Thank you.
This is the problem with you people... Instead of you to better contribute on issues, you're throwing jabs.

I stayed in Benin as a child to my youthful age, before leaving the state. Huge part of my family including my mum and siblings still reside in Benin today, your mentality of state is by tribe, origin or language, so I don't blame you. I have represented Edo State in different occasions, I guess you've never done that...

Back to the issue, I'm proudly a Deltan. With all sense of decency and responsibility, Edo State is our big brother, but to say an slowpoke is ruling us is out of arrogance and irresponsibility. Delta was built from almost crash when we parted ways from the Old Bendel. Benin City used to be our capital. Today, in all ramifications, Edo is no where near Delta State. I say in all ramifications! Even in the regular entertainment, we still lead the nation, the national sport festival is a testament to that. So, if Delta State is ruled by an slowpoke, I wonder who's ruling Edo State?

I come in peace!

He said fairness... Fairness on which party's constitution? LP has never ruled Edo State before now. They now have a strong voice and candidate of the person of Olumide Apata. He resigned his position from the chamber and everything he stood for professionally to be here. Where is the Esans man who came from Esan to contest and win the primary ahead of him? If an Esan candidate candidate wants to emerge in Labour Party, it should be fought for or concessions should have been reached.

I will support an Esan candidate from Labour Party, but supporting an Esan candidate from another party is not for me... We should get focused
Science/TechnologyThe Importance Of Electrical Labeling: Enhancing Safety And Efficiency by udeh3(op): 6:20pm On Feb 27, 2024
In Nigeria, there's a widespread oversight when it comes to electrical labeling, observed among clients, electricians, and even some engineers. Surprisingly, a significant portion of Distribution Boards (DBs) in households lack proper electrical labeling or information.

DB labeling is crucial as it provides essential electrical information to workers and users, aiding in understanding the specific purpose of each Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) or Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB). This comprehension is essential for both functionality and safety.

Furthermore, proper DB labeling contributes significantly to electrical safety. In cases of electrocution or short circuits, being able to quickly locate the involved breaker based on the affected circuit can help isolate the issue and prevent further damage. Emphasizing safety in engineering cannot be overstated.

Additionally, well-labeled DBs serve as guides for electrical personnel during troubleshooting. Troubleshooting and fault finding can be challenging tasks in electrical engineering, but with a detailed and properly labeled DB, the process becomes more manageable, especially when dealing with unfamiliar systems or networks.

DB labeling can be achieved using simple tools like marker pens, biros, or labelers, serving the purposes of direction, information, guidance, and safety control.

In conclusion, I, Udeh Goodluck, urge all electrical personnel to prioritize proper labeling on every Distribution Board they terminate or supervise, as it is crucial for ensuring safety and efficiency in electrical systems.

Peace!

Combat Cyberbullying: A Call to Action

Cyberbullying, the insidious use of technology to intimidate, threaten, or humiliate others, is a scourge that must be eradicated. From malicious online messages to the posting of personal information with the intent to cause harm, every form of cyberbullying inflicts pain and leaves scars.

It's all too common to witness footballers facing relentless criticism for what some deem as "poor performance." Yet, everyone experiences off days at work. How many of us have faced termination or threats over a rough patch? Remember when Odion Ighalo faced threats, leading to his premature departure from the Super Eagles team? It's a stark reminder that adversity is a part of life.
Alex Iwobi, like his fellow Super Eagles teammates, has poured his heart and soul into his craft. Bullying him, whether online or offline, is unjust and reprehensible. These athletes are not immune to emotions; they have families, careers, and aspirations. Why do we allow our frustrations to manifest as cruelty towards others?

While thieves and corrupt leaders in government often receive accolades for their ill-gotten gains, let us redirect our energy towards combating such systemic injustices. Alex Iwobi has proudly represented our nation, bringing joy to countless fans through his performances.

Let us unite in putting an end to cyberbullying.

FamilyRising Above: Lessons From The Super Eagles Of Nigeria's Triumph by udeh3(op): 7:22am On Feb 08, 2024
Unless you've felt the desperation of a Nigerian striving for victory, my current elation remains incomprehensible. This win underscores the adage, "the best retort to your opponent is victory," a truth we've just exemplified.

The Super Eagles need no further validation; securing a spot in the AFCON 2023 final speaks volumes. Dis year, we no gree for anybody. "Awa lo kan" echoes our resolve; it's our time to shine brightly.

The sheer joy overwhelming me is unprecedented. Today, I stand as a proud Nigerian, part of the victorious team. Understanding this euphoria requires being Nigerian, just like me and my comrades. South Africa's Bafana Bafana may have underestimated us, but as Nigerians, we remained focused and determined. Our triumph is not just for us; it's a celebration deserving of over 200 million people. For me, this victory is the ultimate.
Is there a takeaway from the Super Eagles' match against South Africa's Bafana Bafana? Absolutely. It's not about how hard you work; it's about continuous improvement, akin to the Super Eagles' journey. Even when you've been written off, stay focused, let your actions speak louder than words.

Embrace criticism as a catalyst for growth. Let it fuel your ascent to success. Resilience, exemplified by the Super Eagles, always pays off. Do you have a plan, and a backup plan if needed?

No one expected the Super Eagles to reach this stage, considering the challenges they faced with injuries. Perhaps you're in a similar position, overlooked and underestimated. But with determination, resilience, and a step-by-step approach, you too can rise to the top, like the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Peace!

FamilyEmbracing February With Intent: A Call To Focus by udeh3(op): 9:09am On Feb 01, 2024
EMBRACING FEBRUARY WITH INTENT: A CALL TO FOCUS

As we step into a new month, I find it necessary to address a prevailing trend that demands our attention. In a world where information is abundant, especially in Nigeria, the art of reading and studying seems to be fading. While the Western world continually adopts measures to stay updated and elevate knowledge, we, particularly in Africa, find ourselves succumbing to distractions.

In China, platforms like TikTok are utilized for positive and informative content. However, in Nigeria and Africa, the landscape differs significantly. Many individuals gravitate towards platforms filled with distractions, neglecting the opportunity to seek valuable information.

A concerning consequence is our limited awareness of developments in the tech, educational, and political spheres. Deliberate distractions are diverting the attention of the youth. February offers us a chance to reflect on our lives and consciously choose our actions. It's a month for setting goals and engaging with informative materials.

My message for this new month is clear: resist distractions in February 2024. A focused mind is on the path to success. Be intentional and wise in your choices.

Welcome to February 2024—may you excel and achieve great feats in your endeavors this month.

Rekindling Hope for Nigerian Youth: Breaking Through Barriers

In the context of Nigeria, a nation often associated with religion, family ties, relationships, corruption, tribalism, and nepotism, the tarnished image prevails.

The prevailing situation demands that personal connections or financial favors be the gateway to employment opportunities, overshadowing one's abilities, skills, certifications, and education. Those without influential connections find themselves jobless, a pattern extending into government ministries at all levels and now infiltrating the private sector.

A surprising turn of events unfolded when I received a call for a Project Engineer position at Megawatt Nigeria Limited, an opportunity I had nearly forgotten applying for. As I navigated through interviews with the HR Manager and the MD, a mix of emotions surged within me. Balancing responses to the MD's inquiries and contemplating the potential greatness of Nigeria fueled a sense of hope—not just for securing the job but for the average Nigerian youth.

Remarkably, I reached this stage without any influential contacts; it was solely based on a series of interviews, discussions, and follow-ups. Merit and competence, unbuyable and unsellable qualities, became the foundation. For fellow Nigerians, brace yourselves; better days are ahead. There is hope; continue to excel and improve your skills. Other companies, akin to

Megawatt Nigeria Limited, value what you bring rather than who you know. To those upholding integrity, persevere.

My commitment is fulfilled in writing this, extending gratitude to Engr Tunde Adeoti, Stephanie Emuh, and the entire team at Megawatt Nigeria Limited. Thank you for restoring hope to ordinary Nigerians. I urge others to follow suit.

Hope is alive in Nigeria.

All financial transactions are monitored. There are auditors too, the FINTECH companies are well known, so, what stops the CBN writing policies to track them down. Are these financial money related bodies telling us that they don't know how the money gets to the fintech companies and how they can make them accountable at the equivalent rate?

You are just ranting and one sided throughout ur comment!

First of all, for how many years, ur own Emeka will speak out for people to hear his voice oooo? I guess he would rant throughout his life time. Go and check internet since he started his lamentations.

2. How does school that crumble single handedly caused by his wife? Was Emeka traveled to moon, throughout when the school is going down for him not to come in and take charge of his sweat that destroying?

3. I doubt if prejudice allowed you to read what son said......Son said, he has pleaded with his father not to go to media again and allow peace to reign.....yet Baba go to TV to condernm his family again & again. What else you want the child to do again?

If u are in that guy shoe and still choose to be neutral or supporting ur dad, u re nothing but foolish man. You are a son who doesn't really loves his family to be in peace.

4. Even at that, who told you, it's the mother who instructed the grown up son to go public? Were you there wen her mother telling him to go public against his dad?

Oga, stop being prejudice and for emotions overwhelming you on the basis of gender, religion or races.
I know your type. Can you point to a place where I said the mother asked the boy to take sides? I only shared my story...

You can never understand the problem of couples who aren't together anymore. It's probably one of the most complicated, if not.

I only frown at the boy speaking against his father. What if his perception on his father is wrong? When he start battling with the results of his actions, you won't be there

Parents will always quarrel... But, never allow your children to be part of your dispute. I condemn the boy's action. I have no issue with the mother, except allowing the young man to speak against his father. Today, I and my mum are pals, but, I regretted taking sides when issues broke out between my parents due to how it was sold to the childish me. Thank God I had the opportunity to make amends before the demise of my father

Condemn what's wrong. Parents can go their separate ways for all I care. He was never there when they met and married. Children shouldn't be part of quarrels or differences of parents. It's a blackmail on the father. If you feel Emeka Ike is talking too much, the mother can also go to the media which she did to clarify herself. Nobody condemned her for coming out to speak, what people condemned her for is bringing in the children

I was almost supporting my mum as the senior child at home when quarrel broke out between Mom and dad. That single act made my father rained curse on me. I was quick to understand that my mum used emotions on me due to my dad's short temper. I quickly went to his close friends, begged them to come help me beg my dad, including my mum joined in the begging. Years later, I understood better that I was emotionally blackmailed into matter that wasn't suppose to involve us, but, my mom managed to bring us in and will call me as a witness, mine is just to agree! This happened when I was 13 to 15yrs

Emeka Ike has everything to loose unlike the wife. He was at the peak in his career. So, the news will sell well. Media houses will feist on it. I support him speaking out. Those of your in Magboro then will know better. His multi million Naira school was at CMD road. He lost everything, including his career and went exile. What did the woman lose, nothing! And you expect him to keep quiet?

Today, nobody talked about Saint Obi anymore. He was the quiet version of Emeka Ike, he died helplessly.

Men cries alot, but, when they do outside, they laugh at them and say, you're not a man, why cry. So, they bottle it inside and cry within. Men in the house, don't keep quiet in abuse domestically. When in emotionally pains, cry out. It's better to be called weak as a man and have your life than be called strong and die. The difference between Emeka Ike and Saint Obi is that, one is speaking out. You don't understand when someone went on exile for over 10yrs due to marital issues...

My parents story made me more careful when choosing a life partner. All the signs I saw then, I took note and today, by God's grace, I'm happily married. Marriage is deeper than we think

FamilyRe: Please Should Continue My Marriage Plan With Her After Hearing This? by udeh3(m): 1:36pm On Dec 27, 2023
Well, what I see from both of you is "lack of self respect, commitment and discipline". Now, you and somebody are in a relationship, you're passing through challenges, the best thing you could do is to ghost the other, really! So, assuming you are now married and you pass through challenges, you'll ghost your partner?

In addition, your partner didn't hear from you and for all she thought about is to fornicate? Was there any time you told her it's over? She can't even place calls to know how you're doing or atleast, to know the state of the relationship before taking her decision? Camp is just 3wks of different activities and in those 3wks, you saw a guy who toasted you and you start having sex in the camp... I can bet you, that act alone is irresponsibility. It's even against the camp rules. During my days in Sagamu camp, many were sent home for that act alone and I know it hasn't changed

Both of you lack the strength and knowledge for marriage. Spend time to develop yourselves and leave marriage alone. Work on being responsible, ability to communicate and finally, work on discipline

Marriage isn't what you see on the surface. It's very deep.

Finally, I will advice you leave her. You guys should go your separate ways. In the safety world we say, "Safety First, Safety Always". If you want to live long, always apply this rule of safety in whatever you do

Peace!
FamilyChristmas With No Stress by udeh3(op): 4:31pm On Dec 23, 2023
CHRISTMAS WITH NO STRESS

Celebrating Christmas should be a joyful time, but it's essential not to feel pressured or overwhelmed. Remembering the essence of the holiday—Christ's birth—and enjoying it within your means is what truly matters.

SOME KEYNOTES TO TAKE INTO THIS SEASON OF CELEBRATION

These are some highlights and important points to take notes in this season

Focus on Christ's birth
: Christmas is ultimately about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, not about material possessions or societal pressure.

Gratitude and contentment: Appreciate what you have, even if it's not everything you might desire. Be grateful for your life and family.

Avoid financial burden: Don't overspend or go into debt trying to keep up with unrealistic expectations. Celebrate within your means and prioritize peace and joy.

Family over fashion: The pressure to impress with new clothes shouldn't come at the expense of family harmony and togetherness.

Understanding and empathy: Recognize that times are tough for many, and not everyone can afford extravagant celebrations. Be understanding and supportive of those facing financial difficulties.

I am Goodluck Udeh and wholeheartedly agree that peace and contentment should be the true focus of Christmas. It's a time for reflection, gratitude, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance
