siofra:Please, come again! So, any guy that sees a lady pay for "anything" without paying it for her doesn't love the lady? I wanted to know if this was what you meant. If that is what you implies, I'm sorry to say, you're still single, I guess! The essence of you working is to take care of your needs. What is even wrong with us! You work and crave for independence, and you still want to be dependent on a guy in a date! This is 21st century. If a guy invites you for a date and he never mentioned order for food, you better respect yourself. Ordering food without his consent is even a red flag. If you must order, then, you should be able to pay for what you're about eating. It's self respect. If the guy pays, fine! If he doesn't, he doesn't mean he's not a serious dude, it means you should be more cautious next time Before you come crashing on me... I'm happily married and in our first date, my wife showed me maturity, even rejected my money for tfare. That act alone showed maturity and a responsible lady. I wanted to know more about her and the rest they say is history... When two matured persons go out on a date, let's be very responsible and be civil! It doesn't take much! |
The protest about #EndingBadGovernment is ongoing everywhere in the state. This is the perfect time to call on The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) to also address the issue of unqualified personnel in the engineering profession. I join many others in protesting against the presence of unqualified personnel in the engineering value chain. This has cost the industry significantly, leading to the need for foreign experts despite the presence of qualified professionals within our nation. As the saying goes, "bad eggs spoil the profession." We must take drastic action to eliminate unqualified personnel from the industry. The government can also improve by appointing engineers to lead various engineering ministries and parastatals. Imagine an accountant being the Minister for Power—this is a mismatch when we have diligent engineers with years of experience in the power sector and other engineering fields. We need to provide young and aspiring engineers with platforms to develop and grow. One way to achieve this is to ensure that engineering graduates during NYSC are not posted to schools and other irrelevant fields but are placed in roles where they can practice their profession I am GOODLUCK UDEH and I join many in protesting against the presence of unqualified personnel in the engineering value chain.

This is wrong in every sense. Yes, we should protest, especially with the hardship and tough situation, but, the vandalizing and looting, one can say, this is evil |

You keep hearing projects in the Niger Delta... Most of them are lies. Many of these projects are awarded to cronies and allies of the corrupt government in the region. Akpabio, James Ibori and many of the corrupt leaders in the region are now in one party The government should tell us how many Niger Delta youth have been employed in NNPC. How many trainings have they facilitated and the youth they've empowered. Publish their names The East West road, which is the major road in Niger Delta can't be piled. It's a dead trap Or do they mean, awarding contracts to their friends and thugs are the achievements? Let the statistics be released, showing us true empowerment in the region. I will continue saying it. The Northerners both literates and illiterates are everywhere in the force, how many Niger Deltan youth is employed by these oil companies in the Niger Deltan? How many seaports has the government allowed to work as that of Apapa in Lagos? The refineries there, are they working? Our people are into farming and fishing... The lands aren't productive anymore due to the oil drilling. The rivers are destroyed on daily basis due to spillages. My people are left in severe hunger, except for those that can go into crimes like bunkering or carrying of arms as a militant... If you chose the good and responsible lives then, you have to go out of the region or better still settle for the least Take the statistics of those working in all the subsidiaries of NNPC, Shell, Chevron and the likes, we're the least. The cost of food and buying of basic needs in the Niger Deltan is a triple of what we experience in other parts of the country. Because, you go to same market you have a worker in these oil companies. House rent nkor? Sometimes, this trader have to travel down to Lagos to buy goods, after adding the cost of logistics to the region, one can't even imagine the cost. Fuel is more expensive to buy in Niger Delta. Don't even talk about electricity... We're the most peaceful region with all the resources and hardship at the same time. Not even talking about the environmental impact on our people The government can be very specific, but, when it gets to Niger Delta, they start talking vague. |
Sometimes I weep for this nation. People are demanding for good governance using one of the most effected tool which is protest, the oppressed are making it tribal and regional See, when these leaders wants to steal, they steal together, no shouting! You can stay in your house and let posterity judge those who are prepared to come out to lend their voice. The sufferings is just too much! |
TIME MATTERS Time itself is a critical factor. Often, on site, I find time to speak with my technicians, artisans, and some engineer friends who are earning consistently. I frequently ask them, "Why are you not married?" The common response is, "Ha, Engineer, no money na! The country is hard." This makes me wonder: aside from the nostalgic tales from the 70s told by our parents, has there ever been a time when the country was easy for the common man? Time, planning, and decisions are directly proportional to settling down and achieving one's purpose. For instance, as a man, you might hesitate to marry without making enough money. It's good to work hard and save up, but remember: there is no amount of money that is ever enough for marriage if proper decision-making and planning do not consider time. You can buy a well-furnished house today, purchase the best cars, or travel to any country you choose, but you cannot have a ten-year-old child today. There is no injection or technology for that. This means that while you scale the ladder of your career and accumulate enough money before marrying, time remains a crucial factor. Don’t wait until your sixties to have a child in primary school. Don't be deceived; time is a factor. Note: Today's message is for those working. Regardless of your age, you need a constant source of income before thinking about marriage. Drop your comment, even if you disagree I am Engr Goodluck Udeh, and I am emphasizing that time is a factor when it comes to marriage, especially for technicians and engineers

Hygiene on Construction Sites In The Face Of Cholera Outbreak Today being Friday, I want to address the importance of hygiene on construction sites. When it comes to site hygiene, the community or company might not always prioritize it as much as you should. Personal hygiene is crucial because it directly affects your health and that of your fellow workers. It's about more than just wearing PPE Defecating and dumping waste on site is highly dangerous, especially with the current spread of cholera. Today, I want to focus on the food and drinks commonly consumed by construction workers, which can be relatively unhygienic during this cholera outbreak. Be cautious with the following drinks unless you are certain of their safety and preparation processes: Kunu Zobo Tiger Nut The goal isn't just to work but to work safely and return home healthy. I am Engr. Goodluck Udeh, and I want to remind you that cholera is transferable. Protect yourself and your family. Enjoy your weekend!

Then, you must not be more than 25yrs with atleast 2yrs experience to getting a job. Issorite |
It's easier said when you're not in the other side of the Niger... The complexity and problems breeding in Niger Delta can't be understood until you live there. As one who's from that region, I grew up in a small town called "Ologbo". Blessed with over 30 oil wells. Aside the constant government lies, this leaders comes to the community take these resources away, pollute the land and make it unsafe for farming, pollutes the water, makes it unliveable for fishes and thereby starving the inhabitants all in the name of oil spillages. You sitback in your region and speak with a wide mouth without understanding... After my apprenticeship, I furthered my education, during my IT days, none of these oil companies granted me a space to even do my IT or SIWES. Why, I have nobody who knows someone up north or in the political realm. In your community, you see young northerns, guys from Lagos doing ITs and gainfully employed. Long story short, I never had the opportunity to do my IT in any of the rigs or wells. The only slot we got is to become a janitor or someone who will clear the pipelines route or dig gutters form laying the pipes. These are the kind of task the community youths are engaged in. If this could be for an IT student, think about employment opportunities... To the best of my knowledge, we have Ologbo as one community driving Nigerian's economy, but, how many graduates are employed from that community? Hoe many skilled personnel have access to good employment there in these facilities? Yet, our counterparts in the north are everywhere in the military, leading various battalions, even those who can't construct a sentence or express themselves. PMB even before leaving secondary school already got admission into military school. How many of us down south had that kind of opportunities Before you talk, think twice I am Engr Goodluck Oghenemaro UDEH and this is my story |
We actually have a lot to explain in terms of education in matters of marriage Ordinarily, marriage involves two families coming together to becoming one. The only actors that should be involved in the processes is family, every other persons or thing is secondary In Nigeria to be specific, we do more than two marriages The day you pay your woman's dowry, that day, the journey of your marriage begins. You're entitled to everything and every part of your spouse, likewise your spouse, everything that concerns you Marriage isn't founded on the bedrock of religion, it's founded on the bedrock of family |
A True Leader Never Gives Up Ronaldo missed a crucial penalty in extra time, one that could have sent Portugal to the quarter-finals. He shed tears, but instead of giving up, he wiped them away and stayed motivated. With unwavering courage, he stepped up to take Portugal's first penalty in the shootout and scored, infusing his teammates with positive energy. Portugal emerged victorious. Ronaldo exemplifies the spirit of perseverance and embodies the true qualities of a leader. He is an inspiration to all who aspire to greatness. Source: Engr Goodluck Udeh

David endorsing the PDP candidate isn't surprising. He Davido is a card carrying member of the party and he's also a youth leader in party. |
Vandalism of essential infrastructure, especially power systems and their accessories, can be significantly reduced with the use of advanced AI surveillance technologies. The advent of AI has brought about innovative solutions like AI-powered spy cameras equipped with alarms that can detect threats from a distance, as well as AI devices that can deploy pepper spray and tear gas automatically in response to intrusions. Theft is a global issue, but nations that prioritize robust security measures and advanced profiling deliver optimal safety to their citizens. When a government fails to ensure the security of lives and property, it deters investors from committing to the nation. Power system investments are substantial, and thus, guaranteeing security by the government is paramount; other security measures are merely supplementary. Embracing technology is essential. We can use technological advancements for continuous and effective surveillance if we are genuinely committed to becoming a successful and secure nation. I am Udeh Goodluck, and I believe that as a nation, we can leverage AI technology to enhance the security of our power system facilities, including generation, transmission, and distribution networks. kingthreat:I see how you dey treat elders... Treater! No wonder you dey praise people like BAT everyday, just because they're elders I have worked closely with Itsekiri leaders in Warri Kingdom and I see their respect very well, atleast, Prince Johnson of Ologbo is an example. Dey deceive yourself! Respect is not demanded... You earn respect. If you want respect, first respect yourself, then, give out respect! |
kingthreat:In this century where facts and evidence prevails, just a little google search or research you still thinks and talks like someone in the early 90s. It's a shame We're so reduced now as a people such that when somebody say something, we first check where the person is from or his tribe instead of understanding his point of views regardless of his tribe or region. This is where it has led the nation I thought you'll point out the nonsense thing I wrote. Besides, both players are from South South. So, what's your point exactly. Hypocrites everywhere For the records, I am from the Isoko speaking tribe. Owhelogbo, Isoko North LGA of Delta State and I speak my mind with facts and sincerity. If you don't like it, then, deal with it! |
kingthreat:So, both Ikpeba and Finidi that were properly brought up said good things about Oshimen ba? Talking nonsense! Before you come for me with your ignorance. Ikpeba is my Uncle. I once lived with his elder brother, Ikpeba Snr. So, we're family and from same Owhelogbo, Isoko North of Delta State. Just for the records In both scenarios, Oshimen was never at fault. Let's start calling a spade a spade and not s shovel. So, your team and tactics failed, suddenly, it becomes Oshimen's fault? Someone who wasn't even in camp with the presence of other players. Super Eagles uptill now still has the best squad in Africa, so, Finidi wasn't handed a weak team. Lookman alone singlehandedly gave his club the recent trophy. So, why singling Oshimen out for the failure of the team? |
First, Oshimen is never from the south east, same as Finidi. They're both from South South. That being said, there's cost and effect. No place in the world where a responsible coach blame a player not in the squad for a match defeat, no place! You take responsibility for your failure. So, if the coach won those games, who will have said those statements? Furthermore, both Finidi and Oshimen, who should be more matured, cultured and well behaved? When a father behaves like a child, he should be treated like one. This is how it should be. We're still suffering from irresponsible adults, parents and leaders today as a nation. Respect isn't demanded, you earn it! VO9 in his word which he has on record, said "I begged the coach to be in camp with the boys even with my injury, for moral boost. But, the coach turned it down and said I should be with my family". So, why was he lying and placing blame on the young boy when you have enough strikers in the team? He even accused the boy publicly and suddenly people wants him to keep quiet and pretend like nothing happened. Have you ever be blamed before? If VO9 didn't come out now, what do you think would have been the narrative? Did the coach who suppose to know better thought about his words on the young boy's career when he blamed him? Go see the boy's handle and see bashing from Nigerians who knows nothing about the matter before now. And someone wants him to come out calm without being disrespectful! Hypocrites everywhere! In South South, we love respect and discipline. But, when you mess up, will tell it to you. We don't pamper the elder and dissed the child. If the elder did not display lies and disrespect, the child will not misbehave. Let's treated issues the way they are. The big question is, "why did the coach lie against VO9?, why the blame game and where's the place of taking responsibility for the poor performance of the boys?" Was VO9 right with his outburst? The answer is "no!" Could he have handled it better, yes! Be he chooses to handle it the way he did due to the severity and anger the breeded out of the Coach lies and blame games. The coach is the one who lost my respect, not the one challenging the coach of his lies, pretense and manipulations. Comparing VO9 with Finidi in terms of achievements is the height of cluelessness and disrespect to both players. VO9 is still very young. At his age he's already the CAF player of the year. See his rank in FIFA, which Nigerian player has ever attained that height in FIFA'S ranging? Please, let's be focused on the issue Get the message and leave the messenger. To every action, there's equal and opposite reaction. This is a law! |
You're paying a driver so poor in this tough economy, yet, you're at his mercies... That driver has nothing much to loose, you have everything to loose, so be careful make your driver no drive inside river or carry your kids to kidnappers |
When I hear the economy is growing, I struggle to understand. How will the economy be growing and inflation is on the high side. Workers salaries are still the same in the midst of inflation Please, I need an economist to explain this to me for better understanding... |
Just last month, my tfare from Berger to Ikoyi, not even Lekki to and fro was over 75k. No feeding yet, rentage, family upkeep, etc Sometimes, I just laugh when people talk. As at 2014, if you earn 60k, you're doing well cos even 50kg rice was below 15k. So, your family can feed fine and also save for the future. Fast forward to this day, if you earn less than 250k, you're a pauper. The question is, how many Nigerian workers are being paid up to 250k monthly? What labour is asking for isn't unrealistic. If in 2014, a litre of PMS was N89 and now, it's over N600, please do the percentage increase on that commodity alone, so, why should the earnings not be proportional. Go check out budget then and now, check the percentage increase in our National budget, but, when it comes to buying salaries, the workers are always told to sacrifice. As we speak, Nigeria is embarking on a road project of over N15tr |
Good evening everyone on this thread. As an Isoko tradition demands, how should naming ceremony be carried out? I will love to know as only that of the Urhobos is available on the Internet Thank you Isoko Waddooh! |
What is this for God's sake! This is culture na... Culture is the way of a people. So, why suspect her culture just with this flimsy reason I'm from Delta State, Isoko speaking tribe and the bride price in my family is twenty-five Naira Only (N25). It hasn't changed This is where your education comes to play, do background check. Check for the family history, illness and things that matters. If her brother decides not to marry, that shouldn't even be your worries. Focus on your journey to family hood. If you like her, then marry her, if not, let her go... No need to be with a lady you don't see a future with. By so doing, you're also delaying your time to settle down |
In a world without you, my dear, Life would be dull and gray, Every moment would be a fear, Without your love to chase away. The sun would shine less bright, The stars would lose their light, The world would be a cold, dark place, Without your warm embrace to grace. The thought of living without you, Is like a ship without a crew, Adrift in a sea of uncertainty, With no hope to guide me through. The world may turn, the seasons change, But without you, all would be strange, No joy, no laughter, no love to claim, Just an endless, empty game. So let me hold on to your hand, And cherish every moment we stand, For in your love, I find my strength, And with you, my heart finds its length. Though far away, In your thought i'm lost See you soon my manager Just can't wait to witness your smile and laughter Source: Brainbox Learning Consult

Regardless of where you were born, once you're below 30yrs of age before graduation, you have to serve your country via NYSC as a graduate Note: 1. You might not necessarily need it if you're not planning to work here or have anything to do with politics 2. Only those who graduated over 30yrs are exempted via an NYSC exemption letter 3. Once you've represented Nigeria in any international event, World Cup, Olympic and others such as the uniform agencies, you don't need to serve anymore. You'll be exempted 4. If you finish before 30yrs and did not serve, sorry, there are some appointments, offers and jobs you can't get in Nigeria. This is while you see aged persons in their 40s, 50s even 60s in NYSC camp. Hope we still remember the drama of our former finance minister Kemi Adeosun. |
Life is a process... Work on the process. You're doing well. Some of us started like this I squatted with five other guys in a room after my NYSC. But, today, the story is different Just trust and follow the process. Never leave God! |
How about this: The results following the completion of thorough wall conduit and piping installation? Note: A good piping installation should follow proper house-keeping and managing of materials such as avoidance of wall breakage for the client Source: Engr UDEH GOODLUCK

Paraman:Must everything be regional? I'm from the Niger Delta region. Should I be accessing a president on only what he does in my region to know his performance alone, especially on roads only? |
GreenCovering:Please, remind us sir... From 250 to what again now? And when it was 250, what was the minimum wage compared to the dollar rate? Let me remind you, at 250 to a dollar, our minimum wage could buy over 100kg of rice. Today, our minimum wage can barely buy 25kg of rice Spot the difference in the analysis. Atleast, the stats are there |
