There was Biafran agitation not only under Jonathan, but under all presidents since 1999. MASSOB was formed in 1999 and agitated during Obasanjo, Yaradua, Jonathan and Buhari.

IPOB came along and took the agitation to an international level. Below are Biafran agitations in 2014 during Jonathans presidency, when nobody even knew that Buhari would be President. No more recuitment ? Maybe, we can never know - but the soldiers and police also have to be wise and nice to the people, so that anger and frustration does not force others to join ESN. In fact most people who joined ESN were in a hopeless situation.

Flushed out quickly ? I think this may eventually happen, but only one soldier that was caught last 3 months said he trained 4000 ESN members and we hear their membership is much more. So far the army have only apprehended a few hundred. The key here as you said is FEWER GUNS, because can have a large army but without guns they might as well sit at home - LMAO.

Anyway we are only guessing here.

I have always hold onto the fact that he should only produce commercial vehicles and the likes if he wants patronage,cos i will never be rich enough to buy his personal cars or any brand new car.

Elon Musk launched his space shuttles or self-driving electric cars in the presence of his employees who worked late hours with him. There is usually no political presence.

Facebook was built for students and Zuckerberg left with it to the streets of California. When Steve Jobs presented the first iPhone on stage, those who sat at that conference room near Silicon Valley were technologists and technocrats not the the Governor of California. These companies grew into powerful multinationals.

Innoson simply assembles cars and hopes the Federal Government and State Governors patronize him. Innoson believes that he is to be patronized because he is Nigerian and not because his cars are better than Japanese Toyota, German Mercedes or American Ford. That's not capitalism, I don't know what it is.

We are still waiting for that day when a big ass , tiny waist chick will persuade her man to purchase a 25 million naira Innoson vehicle for her instead of a Mercedes equivalent or a Big Brother Naija winner will not celebrate buying a 30 million naira Mercedes when he won a 30 million naira Innoson.

But while we wait for that day, the reality of
economies of scale makes us give into despair. Sub-saharan Africa does not have what it takes to compete in the global automobile sector. Innoson did not produce those robots, a foreign company did and installed them for him. The brand lacks innovation, authenticity and creativity which are important in the automobile industry.

Innoson should produce more military and paramilitary vehicles since he depends on government support and less vehicles for private citizens since the company lacks comparative advantage.

More importantly, Nigeria is only a pseudo-capitalist country. It leans towards socialism and welfarism.
