I have just been blocked from recharging now on my etisalat line,which means i cant load an etisalat card on my phone and i have not been able to get tru with thier customer care, even though i have tried to call 200, but i wasnt connected with the customer care.....i'll be so glad if u can tell me the code to press on my etisalt line,so as to unblock me from charging my phone with d etisalat recharge cards....God bless u as u respond..its urgent pls

Last time it happened to me I called costumer care and they unblocked me.... U can do that through the sim menu OR through direct call

I currently do my downloads with mtn midnyt 500mb for 25 naira

500mb is too small for me....

I only use the sim card for night browsing and receiving calls but not for calling or SMS... Heard they charge much for that on the tariff, but not sure.... The night plan is really good tho with a speed of 1mb/s most times...

Airtel smart trybe is the best thing close to mtn simple server and etisalat PAYG... I it's almost like Etisalat PAYG also... Subbed 200naira for 2hours ... It's passed 2 already and it hasn't stopped... Omo... The speed blew me away... 1.2mb/s straight.. Download was like... Last card... Check up... Finish..... 100mb in 30sec... My UC browser is tired and begging me to stop....

First picture Shows when your visafone line is still allowed to resub after your stuff has finished...

Second pictures shows when they cut you off without any "you have something hours left" message and no auto renewal prompt... That way u know your line is gone for good... 6000 don't even respond anymore

Third picture shows how much data I downloaded with the visafone for the past two weeks so I guess I got something out of it before it finally left

Fourth picture shows the speed of the new Airtel time based plan which is the next best thing.... Downloaded that in 30sec... Coudnt bliv it...

Apparently... Visafone 10tb is still in session.... The only problem is that there are no more recharge cards on the streets anymore... Turns out the sellers didn't even wait to finish the remaining ones...they turned it out for the new recharge cards from MTN so no visafone anywhere again...i don't blame them since they were given the option To swap the cards for new ones to sell.... So right now the last sub I did will run out and it will soon be useless.... Shame... Downloaded 12gb in two weeks with it... Should have used it more before...but it ain't like visafone wasn't gaining from it...so why sell the service Well.. I'm switching to Etisalat for BB at the right... So that way I can do 2k for 6gb... That's 1k for 3gb separately...incase I need to download stuff in the daytime.... As for night plans... I'm using Airtels smart trybe.... The tarrif is terrible but their time based night plan is to die for... I've seen someone using it with my own eyes to download 60Gb IN 5hours.. The speed is crazy.... And no one is complaining yet ... Nodata cap.... Also no speed throttling... Then for my Android phone I'll start doing mtn 2k for 3.5gb cuz mtn is fast die... Pass etisalat and their constant internet disconnection.... I'll give update it I discover Any other good alternative to good and cheap browsing.....

Is it me or this visafone doesn't expire when they say it would.... 350naira is for 1week right? Did the sub on Monday...its not showing the "you have something hours left" message... Anyway...its good like that... I'm planning on subbin again next week... Is visafone really out? Cuz I read their FAQ on their site concerning the migration to MTN... They said all their plans are still running ... Seems like when u migrate MTN cancels it and visafone yeye customer agents that sometimes dont know anything will say the service is no longer there..... Then how are my still using it

All of you if you like continue fighting... I have a BB curve 8 that I use 1k for 3gb... So what I do is buy 2k recharge card so basically I get to use the BB and download up to 6gb with 2k to my 32gb SD card inside.... But then I started thinking that it's a little inconvenient... How will I browse with my PC? So I decided I'll do Airtels night browsing 11pm to 6am ..thats 700naira to pay for 7hours time based internet...that way I can download nothing less than 6gb OR even up to 10gb just like when PAYG or SimpleServer was around.... Imagine 6gb for 700naira.... All I have to do is sub and turn on hot-spot to PC.......But it's a night plan...its not everytime I have the luxury to stay up downloading...so in the day...its either I use my BB 1k for 3gb on Etisalat for direct downloads to it and transfer to PC or I spend 8k for 16gb on Etisalat or 10k for 22gb on Etisalat.... Or if 8k is too much I'll do 4k for 7gb......

I remember when the plans just came out tho. .. I had just subbed 2k for 2gb.. . The next day they were naw telling me.. Get 3.5gb for 2k.... Oloriburuku people buts it's all good now... Subbed 8k for 16gb... Downloaded like fire... Very soon...it will be 1k for 3gb 4k for 16gb and 6k for unlimited

Actually they've changed it.... 10k for 22gb 8k for 16gb..... The 2k for 3.5gb can be done twice to get 7gb... Basically 4k for 7gb. ...

It started with Glo, then MTN and now Etisalat have joined in the league of those offering 1.5GB data at N1000. Other plans have been reviewed also. 3.5gb data is now N2000. We're now waiting for Airtel to put some icing on the cake of their N1000 data. No dulling.
I think this is a welcome development. Let's hope it only gets better.
However, 5gb data and 8gb data remain ridiculously exorbitant at N6500 and N8000 respectively.

Lol.. .i tried migrating the first time it didn't go through...tried it again using the second method and it worked....

Mine is still working... Downloaded 5gb in two days now.... As for recharge card I don't have a problem.... Apparently my area has a lot left cuz people don't buy visafone from here much... Won't say where I am tho

No network is better than etisalat when it coms to browsing just too xpensive to buy... Sme1 says it usualli disconet, thats a big lie cos ever since hav bin usin etisalat i av neva xperience such.

The person isn't lying...it usually disconnects...maybe your line is okay but a lot of us suffer from it....the network will just disconnect... U have to turn off mobile data and turn on again

Lol.... Mine is still working o! The last picture is me checking my data just now... My 1k sub finished last week.... It totally went off.... Didn't get a chance to auto renew....so I had 400naira on the account...so I just thought ill give it a try... So I did 350naira for 1week and it worked...i subbed again.... Used it to download like mad today....

After Airtel scared the living hell out of many by suspending Airtel unlimited night plans of N100 for 1hr and that of N500 for 6hrs, and also went ahead to astronomically increase the rate for the one of N200 for 3hrs to N1,000, Airtel has now made a dramatic comeback with another N100 for 1hr plan and now N200 for 2hours plan in different style.

In a way these ones are better cos you start browsing and downloading by 11pm as against 12 midnight and you can subscribe countless number of times between the hours of 11PM to 6AM.

The smart tribe is a terrible idea if your main line is Airtels.... I use two lines...etisalat for calling texting and browsing most the time...the Airtels is the number I give out for people to call me tho.... U can use Airtel tribe only for heavy downloads at night....as per their other services....dont even go there

Glo is very fast but very unstable.... So many people at different locations complain bout it.... Etisalat is better...but the network time out is annoying....having to always turn off and turn on data when it suddenly disconnects.... Airtel I dunno for them... Dunno where to start with their own palaba ... Mtn is the best but expensive compared to other networks..... But apparently they have changed a little with the new internet plans coming out... I don't wanna trust Airtels 5k for 12gb... Their speed and megabyte billing isn't something to write home about.... But their new time based plan and tarrif is terrible and good at the same time..... On one hand the calling and texting and other services on the tarrif is bad but on the Other hand t&eir time based plan is cool and apparently fast up to 1mb per second

Visafone and MTN won't kill me Sha.... See my life... .. I'm switching to Etisalat for normal browsing... I'll use maybe 1k for 1.5gb OR 2k for 3.5gb OR double the 2k and get 7gb for 4k.. ..but I'll also switch to Airtels new time plan.... Heard that one has a speed of 1mb

Don't bother to recharge with Visafone recharge card as Visafone has already terminated the bb recharge service until you migrate to Mtn platform.
You are automatically cut off after the end of your bb subscription period.
