Since i can't do internet cheats and so on.. Am a big fan of series movie and i follow about 6 of them. I have to download the episodes weekly.

My point being that how do most people download large files from the internet legally? Most data plans are ridiculously expensive and even not enought for the data hungry social platforms(facebook,instagram and YouTube).
For an average Nigerian....how do you manage to download or stream movies on the very stringent data plans?
Lets leave the erratic network quality for another day.

I won't advice glo.... But I used it when they had the 500naira for 3GB on weekends ...it allowed me to do 1k for 6GB.... But i thing they've taken it down but the second plan is still active but to accumulate the second plan and still get 6GB it will no longer be 500 for 3GB it is now 600 for 3GB ...can be tethered and works well at night....

Tested the airtel 2gb on my android phone and discovered I couldn't open any other sites but facebook (I was able to do all that in the first 30mins but that was the MB from the card I recharged) As for facebook, it was on free mode and I couldn't get it off to data mode.

Try viewing a picture... It should prompt you if you want to go out of free mode.... If it's doesn't it means the mode that allows you to switch from free mode to data mode or vice versa is off... Turn it on....

And I will advise everyone to go for the Airtel Blackberry for Android set up... 1k for 3GB accumulate and do 2k for 6GB works on 3G network... No need to root phone.. Just change the imei to a BB10 imei

I don't trust short codes because they always change it.... The short code you used yesterday for a plan will be changed by the network to be use for another plan and it can be frustrating to dial a code expecting 3GB as usual and you see one other plan popping up...a whole 1k wasted
I use the long way... Dial *141# then navigate to "buy data" then look for Blackberry and select "4" 1k for 3GB....
Make sure your IMEI has been tweeked to that of a bb10 IMEI... Just go online and check Airtel 1k for 3GB on android"

Update on my plans... Glo has removed 500naira for 3GB with the launch of their 4G spectrum
Their speed and stability isn't something to write home about... So I'm stuck with either Airtel 1k for 3GB which is fast almost all the time... Or glo 1k for 3.2GB... Which is not so good network wise... Also... The 50naira for 1.5GB is gone on Airtel....

In Yaba, both networks do very well; so I guess the one that's more cost efficient should work for you.

Apparently people found a way to keep on using Visafone... There is now a glitch... They dont subscribe anymore but the internet is still going... As in, they don't need the Visafone recharge card to resub... The glitch prevents their previous subscriptions from expiring ever.... The thing is, it only works in the dongle and not on the phone... As In is only works on the the USB modem for Visafone That you have to plug to your PC but it doesn't work on the BB. ... The people I know that are using it ARE still using it freely...

Mine stopped totally.
I have tried both bb 10 and other BB IMEI but it is not working. It was even a good thing that the agreed to refund my money.
Using opera bundle....which has been reduced to 25 days.

I've done this plan 3 times... It works well... The APN is anothet factor too... What APN do you use? Also... Make sure the IMEI of the BB 10 u used is validated o! And make sure it was set in your sim 1 properly.. .to check *#06#

All of you doing VIP route... Na wa for you... I've started using Glo 6GB for 1k Sha... That one is okay... The speed is around 2mb/s... Then Airtels night plan is supper fast at night ehn! Imagine... Just 200naira for 6GB... It's not 10TB for 1k like on visafone... But at least my speed is waaaay better than visafone... Basically 1k for 30GB each night For 5 days... The trick is to not have any other sub on your account and buy the credit N200 In 5 places.... I pack all my downloads and in a night N200 for 6GB cuz most times I might not need up to that in a night

You guys should come over for the 500naira for 3GB... I can do triple and get 9GB for 1500naira on Glo... Airtels 1.5GB is alright for 50naira that's if our network location is good... But the glo is valid 7days each night and usable through out the morning and night of the weekend...
And they actually do monitor it for you. I have three batches of 3GB... Each one 500naira been using it for a week.. almost finishing the first batch for the next one to become active

First of all...from now on... Use UCBrowser... UC Browser... Find it on play store and download...thats what you should start using.... Second..i never trust Opera mini for downloads... For me.. .it always never calculated the original size of something I'm downloading and sometimes it screws up... I dunno what's wrong with yours.. But stop using Opera mini
