SUPERPACK thank you so much for painstakingly putting me through the process of recovering my asset (BNB) that I had erroneously sent to my ThetaWallet.

Aside the fact that my asset was recovered it was an opportunity of learning new skills for me through your guidance.
I can now in record time recover any coin wrongly sent to a wallet address provided the seed phrase is known.

Whenever you wish to proceed just let me know I will be able to guide you on how to extract your private key from the seed phrase to be able to use the bnb in it.
You did not reply on whether I should send the bep20 usdt address over the erc20 own to save gas fee or I should go ahead and send the erc20 usdt.

Hello SUPERPACK I am now ready to retrieve my THETA Wallet private keys so I can access that BNB token.

I un-staked my THETA and TFuel tokens and moved them out of that particular THETA wallet to another wallet and re-staked.
I am now ready for your step by step guidance on how to retrieve the private keys.

I don't understand where this is coming from! I had asked for a BEP20 USDT address to transfer $40 to which was provided. I tried to withdraw the $40 to the address and it indicates the minimum USDT withdrawal was $50 and you just barge in that I should stop saying what I dont know!

I just realized that the minimum withdrawal from Binance is $50 hence was unable to send $40.

Any work around? I don't mind doing a Naira equivalent transfer to your account if OK with you.

I just tried to do same recovery via address like you did, but it only works for watch address. You can only monitor the wallet but can't send out coins from it. Try to send out the bnb from it to confirm it is possible, that way we know it was successful.

You are right, I can view but I am unable to send out the BNB from the wallet. I resorted to using the Address option after the attempt to use the Seed phrase had failed.

First challenge for me was on how to extract the THETA wallet private key and secondly I was skeptical following that route as my THETA wallet hold appreciable units of THETA and Tfuel that I am staking and did not want to put the holding at risk.

SUPERPACK:
You need to import your Thetawallet into trustwallet via seed phrase or private key to your Thetawallet. Read the instructions below on how to recover it over and over until you understand, do not allow someone to do it for you because your assets is at risk.

1 Get the seed phrase/private key to your Thetawallet, those keys/words you were told to write down the day you created your thetawallet.

2 Go to your trustwallet application, open the settings and click on wallets, there is a ''+'' sign at the top.

3 Click on that ''+'' sign and it will ask you to create a new wallet or import an existing wallet. Click on import an existing wallet.

4 It will bring up a list of various wallet types choose ''BNB'' if it is Smartchain choose ''Smartchain''. Look at the top of the screen and choose an authentication mode seed phrase or private key.

5 Choose a name to remember the wallet with and enter the seed phrase/private key and if correct it will give you a success message.

6 Exit the settings menu and your BNB should be there for you.

Hope it works for you. I don type tire, no forget to pay tithe when you recover it.

@SUPERPACK I cannot appreciate you enough for your kindness and the time spent on typing out the steps and ultimately helping a brother out.

I followed the steps but choose the 'Address' option as against the seed phase/private key option and it worked!
I have recovered my 'small' fund. Not because you asked for but as token of my appreciation, pls drop a USDT address so I can send $40 for lunch abeg. Much appreciated and remain blessed.

You lose that bnb so oooo!!

Even before you paste, there’s option saying don’t paste any other address if you’re sending bnb, make sure is bnb, !! Is really hard to recover” ur chance is 10% out of 100%


But try contacting bnb support teams!!
They may help you!!

You use Binance to transfer the coin!!
Contact them ASAP !!

You may be asked to provide the transaction information (such as TXID), deposit or transfer records confirming the transaction, and the return address!!

Yea I did the BNB withdrawal from my Binance account and will contact their support team for assistance. I had earlier sent mail to the Thetawallet support team for assistance but they are yet to respond.

I erroneously pasted my ThetaWallet address instead of the BNB address in my TrustWallet and sent BNB to my ThetaWallet (which can only receive Theta and Tfuel. I need help in recovering the BNB. Guys, you have all been doing a great job! Cant quantify how much positive influence  your different analysis have influenced my investment decisions, pls keep it up.
