Must he attend every event?

He might think he's furthering his popularity but in actual fact he's only making himself appear cheap!
I'm sure you've held events, did he attend?

I'm sure your village people has held events, did he attend?

What's with the generalisation?

they could not hold the weddings in anambra that Peter ruled for 8 years. Shame on the Agulu fraudster and his zombidients.
And, if you're not senseless, you would have respected the decision of the couples to hold their big day in anywhere of their choice or you think everybody is dependent on their parents like a low life as you?

Mr Peter Obi is an enigma. Attended two weddings in both Abuja and Lagos on the same day.

Kudos to him

Instead of him to carry his Belle the way it is, he opted for liposuction. This is a surgery with a 50/50 survival rate. No Nigerian should have fallen into this when they knew that it was what killed Stella Obasanjo. The only thing I knew is that APC can never rule Anambra state. That DEMONIC product of the Hausa-Fulani congregation which was built on an altar of Buhari nepotism
stop talking trash. Who said he went to London for liposuction? Always imputing politics into everything.

Then he should do well to anoint an anglican from central to succeed him. Anglicans have been left out since after Mbadinuju. Mbadinuju himself wasnt an anglican. Peter Obi was to anoint obidigbo but he was pressured off it by catholic fanatics. This whole lot makes anambra politics unique but interesting.
whispers in the street has it that he's positioning Osita chidoka from Obosi in Anambra central. But, you know, in politics, nothing is cast on stone
Politics / Re: Sen Ifeanyi Ubah Visits Apc Stakeholders In Enu-onitsha, Onitsha North Lga by Udopasa: 9:58am On Jul 26

Even apc will struggle to win Lagos without working hard. Political parties in power know that it isnt largely business as usual. Apgas perculiarity is that it has influence in both the catholic and the anglican churches. It also controls the PGs and Town unions. Motor parks and markets too. A united apc can only wreak damage in nnewi north. The whole of aguata or remaining part of anambra south will go Soludo.

My prayer is that soludo doesnt kill our people with taxes in his 2nd term.
APGA under Soludo has lost her firm grip on catholic churches. Though, Anglica church is trying to warm herself in.

A united APC will do well in Anambra South and North except central who would want to play politics of 4 is better than 8.
Politics / Re: Sen Ifeanyi Ubah Visits Apc Stakeholders In Enu-onitsha, Onitsha North Lga by Udopasa: 10:24pm On Jul 25
Svoboda:

Do you really consider Ubah credible enough for governor? The only party that can guarrantee him victory is apga.

Even if apc is united, it wont help him enough. Another factor that might work against ubah is the zoning arrangement. Ubah, like the everyday politician, might agree to a single tenure on paper, but would expectedly renege eventually.
APGA is no longer the darling of Ndị Anambra as it used to be hence can no longer "guarantee" victory to anybody who fails to work hard.

The unity of APC in the state will mean more vote for their candidate as every stakeholder will strive to atleast, win his/her polling unit for the candidate.

As for reneging, it's almost a certainty that anybody will renege. But, again, that discourse is for politicians with vested interest and not for the majority of eligible voters who would want a messiah to emerge and turn things around for the better.
Politics / Re: Sen Ifeanyi Ubah Visits Apc Stakeholders In Enu-onitsha, Onitsha North Lga by Udopasa: 5:49pm On Jul 25

Youre right. Do or die politics is dead in anambra. Also, the opposition realizes that it'd have to spend thru its nose to match apga. Theyre taking things easy.
politics has been largely monetized, no doubt.

But, then again, Gubernatorial position in the state has been personalized and unfortunately, those with the charisma, wouldn't want to spend while those that would want to spend, lacks the charisma.

If only Ifeanyi Ubah didn't join the APC... And, if only APC is united in the State.

Well, Ifeanyi Ubah can still do the magic if he plays the right politics.

Youre right. Soludo need not pray for mistakes from apc self. He has no competition in the next election, even if they say he was publicly seen fighting on the street naked.
The opposition elements in the state are not serious.

Imagine SoluTax suffocating businesses with taxes, doing snail pace substandard roads, doing nothing new in education and health sector, allowing insecurity in the state to be seen a normal and so many maladministrations. Yet, the Labour party is hoping on Mr Peter Obi magic while Senator Ifeanyi is doing all he can but limited by the stench that comes with the mention of the APC. Some stakeholders from the Labour Party and APC are waiting to collect money from SoluTax/APGA so they can sell and sabotage their parties' candidates.

It's an ike gwuru situation

Sir Paul chukwuma is controlled opposition. He is meant to put ubah in his place.
Paul chukwuma is heavy financially but lacks grassroot appeal and is disadvantaged cos he's from same senatorial zone with the immediate past governor of the state.

The odds are against him and SoluTax is praying for APC to make this mistake

The roads obi did were also substandard.but at least he is dualizing many roads, expanding and constructing new ones.he has built several industrial set ups, attracted several firms...
He is not overtaxing.before the people of anambra were hardly taxed and soludo is now laying emphasis on tax and other igr.
Soludo is the first governor to penetrate the igala part of anambra where farming is done.i think he has started encouraging farming.
cos Obi built substandard roads over ten years ago, a professor of Economics should do same in 2024?

Can you mention the "industrial set ups" he has built?

Taxation of the informal sector started with Obiano. Why should a Soludo increase it even when the businesses are struggling to stay afloat?

"You think" he has started encouraging farming. And, I ask, how exactly?

How is soludo worse when am seeing so many projects
Soludo has been unable to fix the insecurity ravaging the state that criminals now kidnap peeps in broad day light UNCHALLENGED.

Most of the roads he's doing are substandard and on a snail speed.

His over taxation of businesses has never been seen before.

He's doing practically nothing in the agricultural sector(95% of Ndị Anambra doesn't even know the name of his commissioner for Agriculture.

In the Education sector, there's no new innovation.

There's no economic stimulus package in the state yo cushion the harsh economic realities.

The only thing he has done right and I commend him for is just the curtailing of the activities of Agbero in the State.

Well, he's getting away with all of these cos we have a largely compromised and lousy opposition in the State.

Since the issue of the agreement began to trend, I have not commented on it. I don't take a stand on something I do not understand. I try my best to avoid saying what I cannot defend. Even with this very article, I am yet to understand the agreement.

This sounds vague. Who decides human rights? Can human rights vary according to countries? If LGBTQ is later adopted into human rights, doesn't the signed agreement force the member countries to legalize LGBTQ?

These are questions, not claims. Answer the questions if you can. If you choose to treat the questions as claims, you are obviously delusional and sentimental.

No 6 of the article should address your concern

This thing is the trending issue in Anambra State. Same madness is going on in some parts of Oba with some jobless youths threatening demolition should developers fail to buy the lands again for the second time.

One man who claims to be a professor somewhere in the government house is acting ignorant of the whole thing till developers decide to take laws into their hands.

The worse is, there seem to be no commissioner in charge of lands in the state.

Indeed, governance is not all about pontification of theories and eloquence.

SoluTax has proven this

Between the trio of Ozekhome, Sani and Wike, who are all lawyers by the way, who has outrightly rigged an election and bastardized our democracy the most? It is hypocritical of an election rigger, looter of the commonwealth and destroyer of the system to accuse activists of failing to rectify the system he destroyed
Wike has never portrayed himself to be a saint. The activists are those who portray themselves to be unblemished and it's only right they answer the questions posed to them.

Wike asked some valid questions and we should not allow personal hatred to deflate the questions.

Shehu Sani as an activist, has also been a Senator. What did he achieve?

Ozekhome is an activist and a fire brand legal luminary. How many legal causes has he championed for the downtrodden and politicians who were cheated out of power through rigging?

Did orlu beg you for a state?

we are trying to be one, and not divided by artificial borders. If there is any state, let it be carved between igbo area and non igbo area, and not from igbo and igbo areas
The people you advocate for, did they beg you for a State?

The proposed orlu state is unwise, and another way for the haters to divide the igbos even more.

Orlu is a great place in imo state, let us leave it like that. We are uniting with igbo Rivers, igbo delta, etc, the state creation in the past, made the enemies separate us from each other. This time around, we should be vigilant. Let us use this times to know who is who in all these multi tribe states, that are not Lagos.

Anioma state should have happened decades ago. They are true blood igbos.

Illogical.

State creation has not divided Ndị Igbo in any way. What ever division that exists amongst Ndị Igbo, has been there prior to state creation.

Creation of Anioma, Orlu or any other State for the SE isn't gonna achieve any illusionary unity. The only thing it will achieve is just wider participation, empowerment, development st al.

So, the call for Orlu State is as important as that of any other.
