There have equally been cases where candidates of political parties were ruled against on ground of not being duly nominated.

Infact, in this past election, the tribunal ruled against a lawmaker from the North for not having duly resigned his appointment as a lecturer at BUK before contesting the election. The was filed by a member of another political party.

So, there have also been precedences in the contrary.

I'm not talking about precedence at the Tribunal level. I'm talking about judicial precedence at the Appeal and Supreme court respectively.

Most of those Tribunal judges are there to cash out knowing that they wouldn't be sanctioned at the end of the day.
