Just go for the third generation or if no much money go second. Just slight difference. You can check the different between the 2nd vs 3rd generation on what they support on google. No need for ultra 4k. Waste of money.

I will snap the original and fake 3rd generation photo for you. I once bought fake third generation from jumia. Thank God I research and quickly return and they refunded me when I said it's fake. Lol it was cheap that attracted me. The original was around 22k then and with ratings. That's why I insisted on you going for the seller with rating.

This is the original for third generation. The pack is sealed and the original has "G" logo at the centre of the device which is for google. The fake doesn't have that.

Google it or youtube it bro.. Although you don't need the ultra. The Google chromecast third generation is fine and you can get that on jumia. About 22k. I use that on my room.
Every phone and tv has mirror cast support where you can show what's on your phone to your tv. Difference is on google chromecast, you can push any video, or music or even Facebook video on your tv. No message shows or call appear on tv. You use your phone to do other normal regular things while the video you cast is still showing on the tv.. Which is impossible on normal mirror cast.
Also, if your tv support hdmi ces. You can use your voice to turn off and turn on the tv or saying hey google play me this music on YouTube or movie on Netflix. It pop on the tv because you have link them on Google home app( or "google home mini" if you have money you can buy that too or you feel you don't want to use your google home app on your phone for command prompt.)

If you want to buy.. note fake everywhere o. I wrote jumia there. Look for the one with better rating and comment. Anyone with no rating. Don't bother.

I have not even sub on my DStv since the lockdown because it was a waste with no football. With my unlimited plan and google chromecast ultra. I am good with my streaming.

The difference between Anycast and Chromecast is that Anycast drains your battery while mirroring the anything on your phone screen and can not multitask. But Chromecast does not drain your battery when you are streaming shows or washing film online, also, you can not multitask while mirroring your phone screen with chromcast.
If you are Mirroring on any of the device anything that happen on your phone screen you will see on your TV screen too, but it's not like that while streaming with Chromecast.

Infact the basic different is that Anycast can only cast your phone screen that's anything that runs on your phone screen you will see on the tv screen with the help of hotspot connection to you Anycast. While Chromecast can cast your phone screen and also stream your favourite tv show with the use of internet connection.

Please have you bought any of them and how much does it go for bcuz I also want to get one for myself

According to what I read about the two device it seems Google Chromecast is dual purpose in the sense that it can cast your TV show, stream your Netflix, YouTube and many more and can also Mirror your phone contents like picture saved on your phone and local files store on you phone can also Mirror videos from your phone with WiFi connection but will need internet connection to cast your youtube, Netflix and the likes.
On the other hand anycast can only mirror your local files like picture and videos without internet connection but with WiFi connection.
It seems Google chromecast is better since it can function like anycast when connected with WiFi and can also be connected to the internet to for streaming whenever need be.
I stand to be corrected with reasonable proof.

Thanks for this update but someone also told me he has been using Anycast to watch all the premier league matches and live streaming of a lot of movies

Get an interface like Anycast (I bought mine on AliExpress), Miracast or Chromecast (very expensive sha).

Plug it into the HDMI port of the TV.

Use the screencast feature of your phone to search for the interface (it uses WiFi connection)

Once it finds the interface, simply connect to it. That's all.


For box TVs without HDMI ports

Get an interface (Anycast, Miracast or Chromecast) and a HDMI to VGA (AV) converter.

Connect the TV with an AV cord to the HDMI converter. Then plug in the interface to the HDMI converter as well.

Search for the interface using the Screencast feature in your phone.

Connect to it. Easy as that.
