I just replaced the battery and I don't think it's my alternator bcuz if I am driving and park for just 40 minutes the car will still start but once it stays idle for more than 2 _ 3 hours then it won't start again

I have been following the trend since January when I applied for study visa for my wife and kids, thank God she and the kids got their approver successfully, but they requested a consent letter from me for the kids which I have successfully sent,its been over 5 days now since I send the consent letter, but no response yet. My question is can I send my wife and the kids passport to the embassy without a reply from the embassy or I should still hold on for a reply. Thanks to everyone who have been contributing and also those waiting for ppr the Lord that came in through for my family will do the same for you.

But you can see that I posted that stuff last year,it is stale news now

Terrible experience at the passport office alausa today,they said there was no network to validate NIN,I had to leave after waiting for over 3 hours bcuz I had something to do on the island

The National Identity Management Commission has said that over 500,000 national identity cards for those who enrolled in 2022 are ready for collection.NIMC Spokesman, Loveday Ogbonna, urged enrollees in the year 2022, up to August 2023 and who were yet to pick up their cards to do so immediately.

My experience @Alausa Passport office Today 8th of November, 2023.

12:pm Appointment, I got there 11:45pm. I walked straight inside the building facing the entrance gate.

The fair lady I met when I entered the building, after checking my documents, ask me to buy brown file and rope at the gate. Got it for ₦500. Then she referred me to room 12 where another check was done and stamp. I went back to the lady and she ask me to seat where they will call me for capturing.

Not quite long, another woman came out and ask for my file and I submitted to her, the next thing I was called in and the capturing was done. A slip was printed and given to me. Collection date February 2024.

Few minutes after I left the place, I decided to track my application by entering my app num and ref num, it all showed "mark green", except for the last part, "passport issued" saying "PP pending production.

The whole thing, didn't take up to 30mins. It was sweet and simple. Pls note, it is RENEWAL

Please anyone who has used the DIY Route at Festac office for renewal, Please what do I need to take on the appointment day, aside from application form, receipts of payment, acknowledgement slip.
Please kindly give me a breakdown of how it goes at the office when I get there. My appointment day is nov 2nd, I don't want to have any reason to be told I didn't bring one document or the other. Please help!
Then also I have read people are talking about arrangement of file, what does this entail? what is the order of the arrangement so that I can do it before I get there.
Should I buy the standard brown file from anywhere or is a specific type of file that must be bought at the passport office?
