Please what is the reason why this online passport application is still stuck at this stage?
I am supposed to go for capturing next week

I want to express my gratitude to everyone for their contributions. I visited the Alausa Passport office for my passport renewal today and would like to share my experience.

Upon arrival, I was directed to the servicom hall for the DIY team, where a helpful staff (lady) reviewed my documents.

She instructed me to obtain a brown file, rewrite my renewal application on A4 paper, and make a photocopy of the last page of my passport (not just the data page). After swiftly completing these tasks, she cross-checked my documents, added my two recent passport photos, and handed me the file to take to room 12.

In room 12, a meticulous lady thoroughly examined my application letter, verifying details such as the passport number, expiry date, and my signature within the letter. She then signed and dated it.

Returning to the previous staff member, she double-checked the work from room 12 and made some notations on my file. I was then directed to another area for passport capturing, a process that took less than 30 minutes.

The entire experience was remarkably efficient, taking less than an hour in total.

Documents required for renewal:

- Brown file (available for ₦500 on-site)
- Copy of the online passport application form
- Copy of the payment receipt
- Copy of the acknowledgement slip
- The passport you wish to renew
- Copy of both the data page and the last page of the expired passport
- Two recent color passport photographs
- Copy of your NIN slip
- Application letter written on A4 paper.

You must purchase one on the day of your appointment. The brown file is for passport renewal applicant. The white file is for fresh passport applicants. Both files are sold outside the premises of Alausa Passport Office. It is hoped the brown file will still cost ₦500.

I opened my file and captured same day of appointment...was there at 9:30am...Before 12noon I was done with capturing...DIY
Just go early... with all the required documents
All you need to buy around the vicinity is the brown file...write you letter prior...mine was handwritten on an A4 paper...then photocopy of the last page of your passport too and the other documents listed above

The vehicle has been at a workshop in Umuahia for over 6 months and I can’t drive the car back to Lagos for proper diagnosis
The guy has been doing one thing or the other since then but last week, he now called me to tell me that he has been able to scan the vehicle and we need to change the ISM MODULE TRANSMISSION CONTROL FOR ML 350.
I am just very tired and frustrated with the whole thing,for a vehicle I have barely used since two years ago It was sent from Canada

probably faulty can communication. Remove battery terminals for 5 mins and reconnect.

Please why does it take forever to get my driving licence renewal ?

I registered my vehicle I Abuja and travel around the country with it but I visited Abia state last month and my road worthiness certificate expired and I had to renew it there,I arrived Lagos over the weekend,Will the VIO guys disturb me if they stop me for routine check?

The brightest lights are 4300-5400k which is warm white light aka Daylight.

As you decend below 4300k, the light is yellowish in colour, as you ascend from 5400k, the light rays gets blue in colour close to 8000k, you get a purple/indigo colour.

Nb: yellow lights are best in foggy hazy conditions because they offer better penetration power, and travel further hence their usage in foglights and highbeams lights

You can but you would have to keep checking and pray that a date comes out.

I would advise you to lock down any date you see and keep checking.

That is what I do for my clients and check day and night.
