Igbinedion In Money Laundry Mess In Canada!
BY NigerianInsider
DATE : Friday, 26 January 2007
Until recently, Canada was not a destination point for Nigerian treasury looters made up mostly of top government officials. The UK, USA, South Africa, France and a few other European countries where the preferred spots for Nigerian treasury looters to acquire choice properties.

With the recent stiff oppositions of those countries to money laundering, terrorism and other vices, looters of the Nigerian treasury have found a new haven in Canada.

Canada, has recently played host to top Nigerian government officials who masquerading as if on government business actually come to conduct their personal business. As the tenure of the current regime approaches its end, many Nigerian government functionaries have begun acquiring choice properties all over Canada especially within Toronto Ontario and the GTA.
These government functionaries breeze into Canada, mostly through the US and with the aid of Nigerian real estate agents resident in Canada to purchase numerous properties with their ill gotten wealth.

The NigerianInsider recently unearthed the dealings of Governor Lucky Igbinedion of Edo State, Nigeria and his very good friend Osa Osunde, a business man and stockbroker. Governor Lucky Igbinedion arrived Toronto on the 4th of January 2007, and was picked up at the airport by Peter Omorogbe a well known Nigerian real estate agent.

Governor Lucky Igbinedion went on to check into the prestigious Fairmont Royal York hotel at 100 Front Street W. (down town) Toronto. The Governor, known for partying, checked into room 8277, an executive suite that has two bedrooms ensuite and a reception/living room that can sit 25 guests at once.

This hotel is home to the Queen of England any time she visits Canada. The NigerianInsider gathered that this suite costs about $1099 + taxes a night. According to our sources, after checking in, the Governor in company of Osa Osunde and Peter Omorogbe (the real estate agent) left to inspect some of the houses he had just acquired and to inspect a couple he intended to buy.

According to NigerianInsider sources, in September 2006, Governor Lucky Igbinedion acquired 8 units in a high brow condominium complex in downtown Toronto. These apartments were allegedly purchased by Osa Osunde through Mr. Peter Omorogbe. The purchase coincided with the Edo World Conference held in Toronto in September 2006, which Osa Osunde was attending.

NigerianInsider reliably gathered that about 3 properties were paid for between the 4th and 6th of January 2006, with the closing of the deals being handled by Mr. Peter Omorogbe.

Later on that evening (January 4, 2007), according to our sources, Governor Lucky Igbinedion, hosted some select guests and ordered six white call girls who were paid $200 an hour each. According to our sources the six ladies spent about six hours in the company of his Excellency, after which Governor Igbinedion chose three of them to spend the night with him.

At about 12:48 a.m. Governor Lucky Igbinedion asked the ladies to take off some of their clothing and expose some “flesh” for him and his guests, after which at 1:20 a.m. he declared that he was ready to retire for the evening. Most guests left at that time leaving the Governor and Osa Osunde with 3 of the call girls, the governor and his man were set for an all night romp.

NigerianInsider reliably gathered that on the next day, Governor Lucky Igbinedion continued his property inspection and concluded some additional financial transactions with Osa Osunde and the real estate agent, Peter Omorogbe. During the NigerianInsider, it was discovered that the reservation for the governor’s suite was made in the name: Hon Lucky Igbinedion, 33 Muskoka Street, Brampton, ON L6Z 3X2 CA.

When the NigerianInsider investigated further, it was discovered that the above-mentioned address belonged to Mr. Peter Omorogbe and was listed under the business name; Buy and Sell Houses believed to be the front used in aquiring the properties for Governor Lucky Igbinedion. It was also discovered that the phone number listed at the above address was the home phone number of Peter Omorogbe.

According to information gathered by the NigerianInsider, Governor Igbinedion had a total bill of $3,641.97 at check out from the Fairmont Royal Hotel on the 6th of January 2007. He paid the amount with an American Express credit card (numbers blanked for security reasons).
