Meldrick: I don't know why people confuse his handsomeness for capability of handling the Presidency position.
IS NOT A BAD IDEA BUT HE SHOULD BE COMPENSATED WITH MINISTER OF TOURISM I think it is a good idea for him to run at least. My problem is his affiliation with PDP!!! i do not have to explain that one to anybody on niaraland because it is so obvious. |
Politics › Re: No Southern president in 2011 –Ogbulafor D by ufot(m): 4:29pm On Mar 04, 2010 |
Akanbi_edu: One question. Lets assume there is no rotational presidency, the elections are fair and a zone keeps winning. Will the other zones accept this scenario in Nigeria? , First of all thanks for agreeing with me on my first point, but in answer to above point, i say if there is a free and fair election, that can never happen. It is impossible for the same zone to keep winning. Remember the last election when Duke was told not to run? why is that? Of all the contestants, Duke was the most qualified at that time, but he was not even given a chance to lose. I hate politics in Nigeria with a passion. |

I am not sure why we Nigerians are always hung up on tribalism!!! The presidency contention should be based on merit and the most qualified not some rotational BS |

Politics › Re: Nigeria Pilgrims Riot In Saudi Arabia by ufot(m): 4:53pm On Nov 07, 2009 |
alias64: There is no excuse for the Saudi to discriminate against those Nigerians or for Angola or any Nation to discriminate against Nigerians. It does not mater how many times some Nigerians do fraud it is unacceptable to discriminate against the next Nigerian. Unfortunately, there appear to be a glib acceptance by some Nigerians, Africans and people in the west of discriminations and stereotyping of all Nigerians. The point of my response is to remind people of the lesson of history. You discriminate against Nigerians today; tomorrow, some other group gets it. In any case, in the current climate, the Arabs should be the last people to act discriminatorily towards another group of people.
At least Nigerian fraud killed no American. If the Americans spent a fraction of the time and money that they have on Nigerian 419 on protecting their citizens against militant Islamists, they’d get a better result.
but I suppose, to Americans, money is more important than life WELL SAID!!!!! |

Politics › Re: Nigeria's Economy May Out Grow South Africa's Economy By 2012 - Sanusi by ufot(m): 1:17pm On Oct 28, 2009 |
zillonnair: Its actually possible, only if they can fix the power problems. If Nigeria overcomes her power problem next year, (which i doubt, not that we cant, but lack of political will might not allow us solve this problem), by 2011 we would be meeting up with the biggest economy in Africa and the following year we would be flying, do not be deceived, Nigeria is a potential China in Africa, power is the only, singular issue to industrialisation in Nigeria. ABSOLUTELY!!!!!! This is !100% correct. Give the people the opportunity and businesses will florish. If the so called goverment can channel most of its resources to this one thing, the sky will be the limit. THANK U ZILLONAIR |

lagerwhenindoubt: There my friend is where we always make the mistake , watch and see,
We sit down and watch until the disease of corruption kills us on the fence. Are you aware of how many babies die daily because hospitals lack the proper medical equipment and drugs to facilitate better delivery, do you know how many families lose their lives to robbers and area boys because the police budget somehow never is enough to train and equip our policemen to protect tax-paying and loyal citiziens? teh 4th National ID card project is underway, have you asked yourself what happened to the last 3 and why the major contractor handling such failed projects is still appointed to take up this one as well? No!!! we will just watch and see
That is why we rank number 12 in oil exports and number 5 in oil imports today (watch and see how Chrome Oil Emeka Ofor embezzeled monies meant for fixing our refineries)
Taiwan Arrests Former President http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1858363,00.html
This is what happened to a nation's ex-president who admitted that his wife had wired $20 million in leftover campaign funds overseas earlier in the year. He was arrested, Babangida stole over $30 billion USD and we still praise him at book launches nation-wide, we all joke about him as maradona and would love to be in his radar to gain some of that cash while the rest of us watch and see
We all love to just sit on the fence ,, just like Fela said. Our life dey roll like one yeye ball wey one yeye wind dey blow for one yeye corner Serves us right, we should have protested when that idiot OBJ told Duke not to run!!! PDP is SHT |

tk007e: In your DREAMS!, Why are you so obsessed with South Africa by the way? You seem to have an inferiority complex, You should be Obsessed with adressing the immense problems that your country is facing, eg. , hundreds and thousands of criminal attacking, butchering and burning of property of fellow countrymen and countrywomen; The hoplessness and poverty in your country that force millions of your compatriots to countries as far away as Southern Africa where they are not wanted, If your country and banks are so great why are so obsessed on how we are running our country, How many South Africans are in Nigeria vs Nigerians in South Africa, I bet you the ration is lik 1:10000000! Solve your own festering problems before you worry about someone else's, You have been "free" for 50 years but you don't have anything to show for!!! Don't forget your civil wars where you butchered millions of your people, We admire Nigerians that are nice, but you are not nice! How many nigerians were killed in South Africa, I submit to you ZERO! How many Nigerians were killed by other Nigerians in the name of religion and MEND, THOUSANDS!!!! you have a big problem in your own backyard my friend!!! Forgive him, don't think he had his wheaties !!!!! |
