Quite a controversial topic, but at least the President was truthful yesterday wen he said it wasn't just because Soludo didn't follow due process. the presidency "wasn't convinced" about the whole issue. the truth will still come out on exactly what happened.

but to tell ourselves some home truths, Soludo has a proven track record. but for his innovation in the Banking Sector reforms, many of us wouldnt have been visiting Nairaland today talking of frequent bank tests, interviews and all that. our money is so secure now, we know that for a fact. am convinced that the plan would have meant better for the common man in the short and long run, but i guess some conservative nigerians who don't like progress and at the same time, don't like their present state, are not hapy with it.

not to mention those nigerians with loot stashed away abroad and in their houses in liquid naira cash, who would have been forced to carry it to the bank b4 Aug 1 2008. it's well, tho, excellence must triumph at the end of the day!!

pls let's all note that this job market terrain in nigeria is quite delicate and slippery. actually, in any well developed society with good leaders, every graduate deserves a job, and is entitled to a good one if the leaders are doing thier job. becos there arent enough jobs available, the companys have to resort to all manner of conditions and embargos, JUST TO SIMPLY REDUCE THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS THEY HAVE TO PROCESS. My candid opinion is that those who have graduated earlier or have gotten great jobs speedily should simply thank God and see how they can help others with information and otherwise. never pays to be proud,chaps.

and for those who may not have age on their side, simply ask for the right info.there are still lots of opportunities out there, but also, it is your duty to advise those coming after u wisely, so that they may learn from your experiences.

the main question is yet to be answered. or is it so difficult? simply, HAS ANYONE WHO WROTE THE TEST FOR ENGINEERING TRAINEE BEEN CALLED FOR INTERVIEW?

Actually, this thread has generated much discussion. i feel for the gittery ones, particularly ladies who're not willing to give up certain items in their wardrobes.
but i'd just say that the fact is that the Church is marching on and cannot be hindered. once again, those who're not comfortable with this could look elsewhere. but let's not deceive ourselves, it was about time someone took a bold step about the indecent dressing around.

whether ur own is trousers, tight blouses, etc. u know what is evil. STOP IT!! there was a time I thot it didn't matter if a man saw a lady's undies, provided not when she's wearing them, but now, u don't need any effort to know the colour of pants that the next lady beside u is wearing, even in CHurch!

y are u all disturbed. simple fact is, the G.O did what was best in the circumstances. afterall, RCCG is not the only church on earth. u can always go else where!

no kidding. i also had the interview last week. but u're saying they've already called u for the second interview? and u had ur first just on friday? does it mean u were called the same day or the next day or what? when is ur second interview and pls by what means were u told of ur success in the first?

O Good. am happy for those being invited by IRS for test. But i still want to ask WHY the result of the last test held in May in Lagos is not yet out. does any1 know?

well, Chaps, the position I applied and tested for was Trainee Engineer. It basically covered GMAT-like questions, four sections combined in one paper, the whole test lasted for an hour only, and we were not paced as per each section. i.e, u could actually end up spending all the time on only one section!

there were no shading sheets, tho it was obj. we had to simply circle answer choices right there on the q. paper. i'd advise u go with a calculator cos its allowed. all the best, and pls when u get there ask THEM about the resuslt of the previous one they conducted in Lagos in April and on May 11th!

am really surprised to hear that IRS is having another test when we're still awaiting the result of the last test they conducted.

pls has anyone heard anything about the last test that was held by IRS on May 11 in Lagos?

well, my advice is that u shd give them time. i;ve seen this kind of thing before. themost likely reason is that the results are set but are probably enmeshed in some political brohaha i.e, maybe the results do not correspond with their employment policy or stuff. just be assured that what ever final decisions they take (such as reducing thh cut-off mark - ha ha!) would favour you and the rest of the house.

Hi Chaps, rather unfortunate that some of us apply for tests only to forget exactly what it was and when we did. it's happend to me severally, too.
anyway, for d irs airlines, i applied for ENGINEERING TRAINEE REF: SBEM010. I advice u check ur sent items folder in your email address cos surely a copy of your application shd be stored there, cos we applied online.

again, my test comes up 2moro morning at IKeja. we'd asked those who wrote earlier to feed us with what the format looks like, bt seems no responses yet.

HIya 'Landers, I need help urgently. Just got a text message reading thus :Kingly attend an aptitude test for SBEM010. The test is holding at Victory Grammar School Ikeja by Etiebets' place at 9:30 am on 11/05/07.H11000285. IRS AIRLINES. the text came from 08076583955.

Am actually quite far away from Lag now but don't mind travelling down there if this is true.
Somebody please help me confirm if there's actually such a test holding cos i thought IRS airlines has concluded their tests for almost a month now.

abeg, fellow Landers, I'd like to know if anyone has received an i.v to an aptitude test by Exxonmobil holding at UYO, Akwa Ibom, or is it only those who are to test in Lag that have been called so far? Very urgent, pls
