Everybody is required to pay that 30000 for health insurance? My brother, there are insurance companies in Nigeria that you can get your travel insurance from. They didn't mean you should pay 30k euro. Most insurance here cost less than 40k naira for 1 year travel insurance that covers the 30k euro health insurance. 1 Like |

Olivier6ix: Sponsor details and ID :- I used my mum’s employment letter and payment slip of 651k and national ID card, I submitted her promotion letter also, change of name certificate
Insurance:- I insure 365 days and 10days with Allianz insurance company for 25,219 Naira
Accommodation:- I reserved on booking.com( this right here is the most tricky one, if you are submitting 600k payment slip...dn’t go and reserve 200k room or hostel cos they will calculate that in a year compare it to your sponsors salary in a year. You can reserve hostel of 70k)
Flight reservation:- I reserve on goibibo.com, you can also reserve on emirate too
Land property:- I “believe” this serves as ties to home country but the names on the papers bear my surname (my father’s property)
Ties to home country:- I submitted my NYSC certificate and land property (I think ni o cos me sef I no understand this part but those are the documents are I submitted).
Please did you submit your mom's account statement?? 1 Like |

lamestika: Please like how much must be in statement account for the visa
Anything above 2m is OK. The main thing is a notarized sponsorship letter and certificate of employment of your sponsor and proof of earnings. Then a credit card in your name 2 Likes 1 Share |

Please for the account statement, must your sponsor be related to you? And like how much should be in the account. Professor554:
There are possibilities of an interview because I witnessed it when they asked one guy to come back after 3 days for an interview but I don't know maybe he paid the other processing fee of 27k or so. But for me, I did not do any interview. Just gave the man my documents, he went through them, gave me a paper which I filled, it was for legalization, then he submitted the paper, then they sent another paper back again stating how much my bill was, it was 61050 . Then I paid, he gathered my documents along with the money and submitted. I waited for like 10mins, they sent a paper back which was for my visa pick up. That was all. Don't forget to get a sponsorship letter signed by your sponsor. The name of your sponsor should be thesame with the one on your bank statement. |

Ope100: Good evening brother. Good to know you're thinking of the visa process ahead. However, other than the balance of your dad and uncle's bank statements, other factors go into play such as thier number of depends, how credible they appear in the eyes of the VO to pay coming years tuition and support you, their source of funds, pattern of funds in their account etc... The list goes on. So my brother individual circumstances matter a great deal! No one here can really say an amount is enough or not cause we don't know your circumstances better than you, we've seen folks with fat bank statement balance get denied based on insufficient funds and seen people with thin bank statement balance get approved. In all, put in a very wonderful and sincere application and an approval will follow. All the very best!
thanks bro..... Very helpful 1 Like |

ugwuokey: Greetings.... Please I have some clarifications and assistance. I'm applying for a school in Canada and is certain about been admitted Buh my fears now is being approved for study visa. I contacted the school and the told me the yearly tuition and fees = $5200 that is #1,5m or less... And that accommodation and living expenses will amount $11,000. That is total of less than #4.5m. They equally told me that their international office will help me secure a students job. Now, my father can provide as my primary sponsor, a bank statement of up to #3m and I have an uncle as a second sponsor that is able to provide an account statement of over #5m. Please can this get me approved or should I go for a 3rd sponsor. Please someone should help me with necessary information so as to know the next step to take.... please someone should give his opinion on this..... I'll appreciate a lot. |

Nzo1: Greetings Bosses, you guys are doing a terrific job here. I was a silent follower on this thread for long but I reached out to guys here when my first TRV application was refused back in July. My second application has just been approved. We Bless God!
Here's my timeline:
M.Eng (Electrical Engineering, MUN)
1st Application: May 5th, 2017 (Paper route), linked it online. Refused: July 7th, 2017 (Insufficient Funds for tuition fees, Purpose of Visit, & Travel History) Ordered GCMS Notes immediately and it arrived on August 9th, 2017. VO said i was being sponsored by a third party (my cousin), limited evidence of relationship on file, limited travel history and weak evidence of personal financial establishment.
Meanwhile, it was a fully funded admission, i had to stress that in my second application while also tackling the above reasons.
Second Application: August 28th, 2017 (Paper route), linked it online. Medical passed like three weeks later (same upfront medical i used for the first application) Application updated November 14th, 2017. Approved (I checked my profile the night before (13th) and review of eligibility had not started)
Special shout out to @Thesoj; As soon as i got my admission in March 2017, one of my guys in Canada advised me to read all your posts from the beginning and i did, very enlightening. Thanks Boss.
Very big thank you to @Maziude 1 of Ottawa who reviewed my LoE and pointed out areas where i sounded desperate, Lol. Thanks Boss!
Special thanks to @Austinpee4, @Mcobex & @Jnyuwa02 for their inputs and advice on how to tackle my refusal reasons. I'm grateful.
I believe my Scholarship was overlooked in the review of my first application because of the way i filled the financial section of my first application form but @Osemigho's post on that subject ensured that i didn't make the same mistake twice. Thank you bro!
I'm happy to answer any questions and to help anybody in need of some guidance.
Cheers Bosses.
I believe MUN is memorial University of newfoundland. Please I'm applying for marine engineering for fall 2018, please I will need ur help and advice, if it's possible, drop ur email for me. |
