Nonso23: I don try ooo . If I write again It might still be the same brouhaha. sad

I agree with Matthew of course. Many constraints makes his model unsuitable.
1) Being inability to run on a fairly smooth surface compared to train tracks
2) Air interference.
3) Uneven speed and acceleration giving the air molecules stored inertia even while the bus is no longer accelerating.
4) A bus is fairly small and dampers on the wheels still pass on inertia that in the normal direction of travel of the bus.

We are over looking the assumptions of the initial post.
Large train
Inside (closed to external interferences)
uniform speed (450mph)
Etc.

In real life his model will hold but optimizing with the assumption supplied it ceases to hold
Ahh I understand now smiley

Nonso23: man= stone fragments/ tiny pieces Stone = train Net = Spacetime 'held' by Earth. Warped Net = New spacetime of stone. It's the simplest model I could come up with wink
Your simple is complex. I won't mind tethering to your brain undecided I think the problem is that you're forgetting you aren't explaining this to a Science major. Use layman terms biko nna grin

Btw do you agree with MatthewBriggs?
EducationRe: This Question Can Only Be Answered By The Imaginative Minded by UjSizzle(f): 12:30pm On Jul 28, 2014
Nonso23: Chai! This aspect is sort of like conceptual physics. You model with mental pictures. Unless maybe nairaland can tether our brains together grin

For the space time continuum warping. Think of a mosquito net in 3D then imagine throwing a stone at it whilst assuming the mosquito net gives way as soon as the stone touches it but doesn't tear oo. It just keeps giving way at the front elastically while mending at the back of the stone. ice the separated strands glue back behind the stone sort of. I don't think I'm making sense sef embarassed
Ok. I get the image but not the relationship. Establish a relationship between the mosquito net/stone, the Earth's surface/man and the train/man smiley

Draw me a picture then. Or give me a mental image with something I can relate with? I need visual aid to learn anything embarassed

Oh I'm reading up this theory of relativity on the web sha. Maybe it will help somewhat undecided
EducationRe: This Question Can Only Be Answered By The Imaginative Minded by UjSizzle(f): 11:17am On Jul 28, 2014
Nonso23: Relativity is quite complex in itself.
okay, recall that in euclidean geometry we have three axes. x,y,z. In relativity we have four. x,y,z,t. Where t= time, This last addition was made by Einstein after he discovered the speed limit of the universe - light's speed. He found out that 2 seconds aboard a moving mass wasn't 2 seconds anymore on the ground. In short, all the theory says is that time is not constant as classical/newtonian physics propagates and so far he's right. Take out time to research this field of physics. It's interesting.

And your room is moving at about 66000mph in space around the sun in an elliptical orbit. you land on the same spot when you jump because you are on earth's space time continuum.

All we do practically can also be theoretically modeled. The problem is that in practice we can work around the minute variables with little adjustments while in theory we cannot model all variables due to the 'chaos theory' limitation.
Honey I like your posts, I really do. But you need to start speaking more English here, and less science so that more Artsy minds like mine won't have to paint a mental picture 90% of the time embarassed

I wouldn't call being frozen at the bottom of the ocean for a hundred years living.
PetsRe: Does Your Dog Kill Rats, Birds And Other Animals? (Pictures) by UjSizzle(f): 6:56pm On Jul 26, 2014
Our dog kills chickens and eats them! It's crazy because we don't feed him raw meat. Then he went on to teach his surrogate daughter(well, Brandy cheated on him tongue) the same nasty habit.
Eventually we had to sell them.

Our new dog doesn't kill anything....not even rats. On the contrary he plays around with Lizards rats--traps them by the tail and dies some funny stuff--and eventually lets them off. He allows chicks share his food, but chases the big 'uns away. Oh but he'll kill hawks that try to carry off the chicks if he manages to hold one down long enough.
Such a sweet soul smiley

Very touchy people here. Someone asks a question and all you can do is turn it into a battle of the sexes.

godG: Guys be saying good traits like say them fit marry a lady with a nauseating physiognomy.

On FP today, no be one dude say hin wife bobby don flat finish? That is for you to know that beauty is very important. That is what you see before anything. Why do you think ladies invest in make up? Even the inwardly beautiful ones do so to enhance marketability.

Remember, if your shop is unkempt, no one would want to patronize you.
Uh huh grin grin

Good question cheesy

It's actually a bit of both for me. The looks starts the process and the character seals it. One without the other really doesn't work for me undecided
Say I might like a guy I haven't yet met(character at work) and then I meet him(looks) and the zing just flat out dies sad
On the plus side, one doesn't have to be drop dead gorgeous to get my attention...the basic's just fine wink
