naptu2: I believe that you are one of the best mods I've seen on nairaland. You are strict but fair. I'm not surprised that people always complain about you because I know that Nigerians do not like strict people, neither do we like restrictions, but restrictions are absolutely necessary to prevent chaos and anarchy.

However, you have just one flaw. You should know that it's not everything that you should respond to. You also need to evaluate your responses. It doesn't help if you try to caution an uncouth fellow by using provocative and insulting words. But this just shows that you are human and thus have flaws like everyone else.

Keep up the good work and continue to enforce the rules in a strict but fair manner and remember, you don't need to respond to everything that's said.

What i meant that with this, members will be re assured of better relationship from Seun. And that he has to be careful with the decisions he take, especially those that the members may have voiced out their objection against.

What you're saying is that if Seun does not give in to the demands of users then they'll deactivate their accounts...thereby in the longrun, nl will go down the drain.
I got it the first time, and i don't totally agree with you.
NL isn't going anywhere so long Seun can step up his game and keep up with competition, and it's certainly not going to die in the future simply cos some members want to dictate how he should run his forum.
He'll listen to their demands because they are feasible and beneficial to a whole(or atleast everyone) and not because a minute few are threatening to leave the site.
People will surely come and go, but personally i believe nl is come to stay.
There are other forseeable problems tho that have nothing to do with what you just stated

The third would be people that want to throw away the skeletons n start a new life eg marriage or politics

I disagree with this. So many other sites have deactivate options and they still exist.
