dagr8: @AskUj_sizzle... lemmie ask my questions in bulk jare..might not have time to ask again...real home work for you

Serious now..let's start with 10...d remaining 90 will follow... grin
1. Which Church do u attend?
2. Figures or Alphabets, which interests you most?
3. Why do u have this special "hatred" for the Yorubas?
4. Frank Edward and Tuface, whom will you prefer i help invite for your birthday?
5. What have you gain in your days of nairalanding?
6. How do you look like? cool
7. what is your stand about tithing?
8. Would you marry a yoruba man? If No y?
9. What are your dislikes?
10.Who would you pick between Messi and Ronaldo? and why?
See jamb oo
1. Anglican
2. Alphabeth
3. Lol i don't hate them. I just happen to be surronded by a very local low thinking set in lagos who haven't had any enlightenment. Same way i dislike the mentality of the average Onitsha inhabitant.
4. Definitely Tu Face!!
5. Help with school assignments, friends, open eyes to the immense stewpidity of the human race, diversity of our cultures, knowledge n ofcoz a good laugh cheesy
6. ghen ghen..5ft7in, chocolate skin, curvy *clears throat*, babyface, pweety eyes. oh well, basically not bad enough to give u nightmares.
7. Abraham tithed as thanks, Jacob did too, malachi spoke about tithing...i think everyone is allowed to tithe if they wish so long it's done with faith that God's blessings and promises accrues to you. Anything not done of faith is sin.
8. Nope. There's a huge gap between our cultures, and no matter what anyone says it's not going away. We can choose to wish for the ideal or simply work with the obtainable.
9. Dislikes hmmm...dishonesty, unnecessary lies, arrogance, the constant need to curse whenever an argument arises.
10. Ronaldo! Gosh he's hott and that smile can turn you to jelly *dreamy sigh*

ATMC: #askujsizzle who's your mentor?
Honestly, there's no human i really look up to. I think everyone has his own strength and weakness, so i just pick their strong point. I love people who have a positive attitude when everything is on the downside for them, admire courage, bravery and try my best to smile in the face of trial.
Most especially i try to live my life in accordance with Christ's teaching: love, faith and hope smiley

*wears serious face*

HBG, i'm sorry for every hurtful word i have said in a moment of anger, and am sorry it has drawn us apart, sorry i have not been too understanding of your personality especially because it clashes a lot with mine which makes me wonder why we were ever friends in the first place. But notwithstanding, i love you...always have and always will, and even though we aren't as friendly except on this thread i want you to know i have always got your back n you are never far from my thoughts.

That said, thankyou Gracie and Dagr8 for those words. That psalm is a favourite of mine and i wonder what David was going through when he wrote that. It has helped and i'll remember to meditate on it when depression sets in.
Thankyou Dagra8 for your words and your food fest that momentarily made me forget why i was so sad smiley.
I love you guys kiss

alleviate2002us: actually i have preference for moderation. Unfortunately our ladies lack the sense to establish that. . . Not all of them though but majority.

You don't wanna talk about this same moderation when it has to do with fixing eye lashes! Dunno if you have fixed any but lemme quote my sis. . . 'Guy, some babes no dey try sha. .omo see as that chick be for bike! The lashes no gree her see road' we both laffed at that joke.

Now, i don't know who that chick in question wanted to impress but if she was my gf, then she only succeeded in turning me off.

many attimes i fear for their lack of moderation. I can't rule out the fact that the trend/fashion has come to stay but am pleased to inform you that not all chicks get carried away with all the hype and "i wanna be like a celebrity thingy".

#you don't wanna know the number of advances the chick i sighted as an example has on a daily basis. Non of them offer to tend her hair cuz its always neat, well packed, black and long.
Nah i hate lashes..think my eyes are pretty all on their own. But that is not to say it looks horrible on everyone.

Funny you preach 'moderation' now, a moment ago you were concerned with how women won't stayy natural.
This model girl you set as a standard clearly have things working for her in the hair department: full, long, dark, but not everyone else can boast of that.
When a woman dresses or uses cosmetics, the principal aim is to first build her confidence and not to impress anyone. She has to first look beautiful to herself before anyone else, least of all men.

Cosmetics and clothes go hand in hand. other than the lattet covering your nudity, it builds confidence by flattering your physique and accentuating your assets. The exact reason why a fat lady can wear dark clothes and vertical stripes to make her look slimmer, a skinny girl can wear full skirts to give the impresssion of curves, a person with lovely legs can rock it in pretty heels and a short skirt. Same reason we use body creams and soaps not just to make u cleann but leave ur skin healthy and beautiful. Everythinh works together.

Looking beautiful requires that you get the eyes of the onlooker away from your flaws by accentuating your assets...its a neat trick. It is the universal aim of any woman who looks after herself! Whichever she decides to opt for, whatever means she seeks to achieve it, the bottomline is she changes herself from her natural state to something different.
Its foolhardy to try justifying one above the other for those hanging onto it <:/

So here, beauty builds confidence and has nothing to do with inferiority. Confidence helps you take on the world smiley.

Good morning everyone smiley
Hope we all slept well?

So i'm borrowing an idea from a different chat thread.

We've bn together here sharing the word, joy, sorrows blah blah, and we really don't know much about one another. I was thinking even though we have some chat group or so outside NL, why don't we share a thing or two about ourselves here....whatelse are family for?

So erm every week we'd put one or two persons in the spotlight and everyother person asks whatever they wish to know. Our celebrity of the week will attend question raised cheesy.
It's just supposed to help us know you better n ofcos have a bit of fun here.

You guys think about it, post ur opinions n if it's cool with y'all, we decide who goes first smiley

You know how you venture into something cos you believe its the right thing to do, then put in your best effort..effort that against all odds should yield positive results and then someone decides they aren't good enough? I'm right there now. Its disappointing n frustrating n totally crushing my spirit cos i'm starting to wonder if God's punishing me for something or if i shouldn't have done this in the first place.

alleviate2002us: sweerrie i strongly disagree with u there.

i love ma gurls on their real hair and it trips me most when the hair is well made such that i see thru to the clean scalp. #for the records i have know a chick in my neighbourhood for close to 5months now and she has never gone on any artificial hair. i asked why and she simply said she didn't like it and that she always looked better when her own gawd given hair was well dressed/made/taken care of.

thing is some chicks do the hair thing to the extreme. is the the Lenght? is it the fullness of the Weave/fake hair? is it the color?....#you go fear when naija chick dey form nikky minaj... grin grin tongue
what you highlighted was from my personal experience. you've just described your preference, why don't you ask her how many men have offered to sponsor a trip to the salon.
