every legend of Merlin I've ever read and watched depicts him as an old wizard. Bone this BBC twist joorh it's supposed to appeal to young minds i guess.

My thoughts...
There is an appointed time for everything according to God's purpose for our lives, but we decide whether to work according to that purpose or not. It's his will that we live a rich life full of hope and good things, but also we may cut it short by choosing to go our own way.
We all have our destinies, and God's plan is in accordance to that destiny. Inherent is our birth day, every step we need to take to get to what he has prepared for us and finally our death day.
But if we decide to lead our own lives outside his already foolproof plan for us, we leave ourselves open to the devices of the wicked one n outside God's protection. What happens then is all our doing.

God's appointed time only works for us when we walk with him.
