Hello Gurus in the house...pls I need your advise I applied for a UK visitors visa in 2021 and got refused twice... During the time for my biometrics last year, I noticed that my agent included a marriage certificate ( which I didn't ask him to include). Now,I have gained admission to study in the UK and I want to apply for my ATAS certificate... They demand for my spouses information for the application.. My question now is ' SHOULD I MAINTAIN THAT I AM MARRIED AS THE AGENT HAS SAID IN MY APPLICATION LAST YEAR OR SHOULD I SAY I AM SINGLE'? would this pose any threat to my study visa application?... Pls I need your help guys.. Thank you |

seedord247:You need to do a covid test in Nigeria ( which can be any test) before you can board your flight to Ghana... Then Ghana will conduct another test in their airport on arrival for $50 before you can enter Ghana... Then You need to take another test in Ghana before you can now fly to your final destination.... You will be needing a total of 3 tests my brother. |
seedord247:To be on a safe side...travel to Ghana like a day or two so as to know if Ghana have their own travel rules then you can take appropriate measures.... I hope you understand? |
seedord247:All you need is a negative PCR covid test... Do well to check the travel requirements for your country of final destination.... I think this clears your worries.
|
seedord247:Again it depends....if your transit time is less than a day...then you don't need 14 days quarantine.. But if it runs into days that means you need to enter Dubai, spend some days in UAE then exist to catch your connecting flight, this now makes it mandatory that you will need 14 days quarantine... I hope you understand me? |
seedord247:I don't thinking 14 days quarantine is needed... Let's analyse this together 1) You won't be going through the ports of entry at your transiting airport (Dubai). 2)Your flight from port of first departure will be bearing your final destination ( I.e if you are traveling to Maldives, you will be boarding a flight either from Cotonou or Ghana as the case may be going to Maldives even though it will transit in DXB for connecting flight). |
Freelane33:LOL....Did you say 600k?... Only flight and covid test alone don swallow 500k...we never even talk of visa and accommodation... My brother just budget like 900k - 1m if you dont want to be stranded on the streets of UAE. |
lekanlaniyan:Currently flights to and from Nigeria and UAE are suspended... You can use alternative routes ( neighbouring countries )... You can use Ghana or Benin Republic (Cotonou). |
omoowhe:You are always welcomed |
Traveling as a Tourist 1)Flight ticket (must be round trip) 2) Health insurance 3) Hotel reservation in UAE 4)The stamp on your passport must show that you have spent at least 15 days in the country you are flying from on the day of your travel... Anything less than 15 days, you will be sent back from Cotonou airport. 6) Covid test result which must be PCR test. 7) Valid Visa. Traveling as a resident 1) Valid residence permit 2) Flight ticket 3) Return permit which you can obtain here http://uaeentry.ica.gov.ae ( You can screen shot after checking and show them from your phone when asked). 4) Covid test result - PCR 5) Emirates ID. 6)The stamp on your passport must show that you have spent at least 15 days in the country you are flying from on the day of your travel... Anything less than 15 days, you will be sent back from Cotonou airport. |

For those if you who wants to go through Cotonou route, here is the list of documents you will be needing for a smooth travel....Dm if you have any question(s) that you may not want to ask here... I travelled through Cotonou route myself last month. |
Jessicaos:I get Aza ... Dm let's do business. |
Topshow4real:You are right my brother...Emiratis no get time to dey check stamp or even whether you be Nigerian or not at Dubai airport...All they look at is your exist stamp (if you are a residence) and they stamp you in...Too many dramas are just going on on thus thread...If you are able to board an flight from either Ghana of Cotonou and you land in DXB,nobody will send you back. |
sunnyg12:The agent who did your visa should get you the health insurance. |
beekaf:Yes this is what it will show for Emirates of Ajman,Sharjah, Ras Alkhaimah, Abu Dhabi,Fujairah but Emirate of Dubai is different... Emirate of Dubai return permit looks like a visa. |
stressed4real:If your brother did not commit a murder offense, nothing will keep him in prison for more than 1 month and he will be repatriated to Nigeria... In UAE stealing can keep in you in prison for only 1 month and you will be repatriated and banned. So,if your brother was caught and imprisoned for not having a valid stay ,he can't spend more than 2 weeks in prison and he will be repatriated and banned. Let's hope that you hear from him soon. |

I just arrived Dubai via Cotonou... The route is very okay to use....Do not allow people spoil your mind and put you in a panic mood....Just make sure you the entry stamp into Cotonou and it must be up to 14 days then u can exit Cotonou on the 15th day .... Anything shorter than that ,you will be turned back at the Cotonou airport.... |
tonididdy:If you still have time ( I.e if your visa is not near expiration) to do the compulsory two weeks quarantine yes you can stamp at the border if not, dont stamp. |
ExchangA:Yes you have to the conduct the test prior to departure and on arrival in DXB and it must be PCR test....The vaccination doesn't make you immune to covid19. |
Haykaybecks:Snap the seal and signature and send it here and I will tell if it is orijo. |
Pls anyone gone through the Cotonou route in the past days? Pls share your experience with us. |
obagoally:The flight was cancelled. |
Akunna25:You cannot own a bank account in UAE with a tourist visa...you have to be on a resident visa to do so.... You can go to any simcard vendor, buy your preferred sim which will be registered with your passport and your tourist visa... The number get blocked at the expiration of your 3 months visa. |
