Romance / See Why You Should Adorn Your Waist With Beautiful Beads! by UltraMedia(f): 3:11pm On Jul 24, 2015
I was 14 the first time my Mum got me waist beads, I told her I liked it and she told me stories about how she and her peers wore different strings of beads when she was my age.

In her Village, they defined beauty by how many beads you’ve stringed on your waist. They walked around competing amongst themselves and showcasing their waist line to everyone.

I started with Two tiny white beads, I was so proud of those beads, every time I dressed for school, I will look underneath my skirt and smile.

I wore those white beads for a year before I changed it to small pink beads, this time I increased it for four. From little pink beads, I graduated to Big Blue Beads and from Big Blue beads, I moved to big pink beads.

Eight years later, I still wear my beads proudly. This might sound absurd but there are a million and one upsides to wearing beads especially for women who want to lose weight.

Waist beads will give you exact measurements of your size and whether you are reducing or increasing.

I know I have lost weight when my beads are almost falling on my waist, so I take time to readjust myself and gain more weight.

Historical Perspective

For thousands for years, our fore mothers have been wearing beads to drive men crazy. In our generation, we tend to assume that we are more sexual than our fore fathers, don’t get it twisted, they were much more sexual than we are.

They didn’t have the inhibition of panties and bras, women walked around naked except for a piece of clothing. When you live amongst women who are practically naked all the time, just try to imagine what you will do.

The men married many wives and each woman always had her turn, I wonder how the men keep up because when you have a variety of Vaginas to play with. Heaven right?

In Ghana women knew that waist beads helped form their body into a particular shape and adult women wear beads to sexually stimulate the male- get that, sexually stimulate the men.

Sometimes a string of colourful beads on a woman’s waist is the greatest aphrodisiac.

Egyptian women wore waist beads as girdles, all the women wore them and it was a uniform for pre-pubescent girls without any sexual connotation. Dancers wore them alone without any clothing to dance.

Waist beads are used for two things, seduction and they can also be used as an instrument of body shaping.

Apart from making you waist look super-sexy, you get to measure how much weight you are gaining with those wonderful waist adornments.

So get a Waist Beads today, you will enjoy it.

Celebrities / Re: Meet Ojb's 3 Wives And 8 Kids by UltraMedia(f): 10:42am On Jan 05, 2014
And the next thing he would say live on radio, "Dbanj didn't donate and yet didn't deny with world press conference". The young man Dbanj who is an hustler and not resting on his oars by stepping up daily on his international stardom status and staying focused in his decade long career so that in the near future, he wouldn't be begging like one OJB who despite civilisation went on to marry 3 wives (and probably several other concubines and gfs) without having some form of physical discipline! That dbanj passed through your tutelage (I doubt if ur tutelage was even inspirational enough for him to have run to london and partner with Jazzy), does not demand him being ur boy....at least Wizzy was a "rat" in ur studio and didn't do any dime! Music success can't be forever, you've got to save for raining days. If some successful producers want to have holiday for next 6 months, they can do so because they understand music business and the power that a producer has in term of royalties, agreements and a lot more...yet ur broke ass was begging Nigerian for 16 million for kidney operation that they didn't help u to use to bang everyday and drink beer to stupor every other day! Yet instead of you to be appreciative to God and Nigerians for giving u 2nd chance to live and mend ur ways, you mentioning name of person who didn't deny (of course some coming out to briefly and maturedly state that some didn't fulfil their promises and were using the situation to help their brands like u mentioned which would have been enough). Shooku shooku broke ass father of many continents!

Woooow! These are thoroughly articulated facts.....sentiments aside, u want to see impunity been perpetrated by North to deceive "Naijeria", come to Abuja, go to the federal ministries and parastatalsn u would think Hausa is Nigeria's official language. Its not about tribalism but about equity, fairness, true federalism. Am yoruba by tribe but when the shout against uduah was first mentioned, I reserved my comment until I was able to see beyond propaganda . Same thing with GEJ, he is on a mission to empower Nigeria despite all these silly noise. Fashola has good intentions especially during his first term but when he realised that Tinubu would drain him politically, omo, shartp sharp he complied. Aganga and the agriculture minister are making strides while the northern oligarchs are moving us backwards. Average notherner want peace, but due to high level of illiteracy and poverty with religious sentiments, they are blindly following their wicked leaders. What baffle me is the un-informed views of most Nigerian youths. You want to see lack of enlightenment of the typical Nigerian youth, come to Nairaland and read comments. Tell them GEJ slept with oduah (literarily, gbam they believe it hook, line and sinker when google is there for them to make simple research. Future leaders indeed!

Politics / Nigeria Begins Probe Of Central Bank Governor Over Fraud by UltraMedia(f): 5:30am On Jan 03, 2014
President Goodluck Jonathan has queried the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, over various infractions detected in the apex bank’s 2012 audited account.

The query, which covered 22 issues bordering on massive fraud at the bank, was sent to the governor on May 6 and the response, though expected back on May 8, was submitted to the President on May 21.

The query of the bank’s account, which its auditors, Ernst and Young, passed without officially signing, with only a comment that it complies with the CBN Act, covers issues such as investment of a huge amount of money in an Islamic bank in Malaysia without any guarantee of its generating returns.

Others are write-off of about N3.5 billion CBN staff housing loan and the donation of about one billion naira to a political party to open up offices across the country. This donation, which was given under the special access item in the account, is believed to be geared towards furthering Sanusi’s alleged political ambition in the 2015 general elections.

The query touched other issues such as refusal of the apex bank to consolidate in its account, the trillion debt owed by the Asset Management Company, AMCON, and the non-disclosure of the total liabilities through the bond floated by the company.

The governor was also asked to explain the discrepancies noted in the 2012 account regarding the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting Company, a subsidiary of the apex bank.

Other issues include the controversial donations made to some higher institutions in the country. Investigations have shown that some of the donations were inflated in the bank’s books

For example, while the Bayero University Kano, BUK, was said to have collected N4billion, the school authorities claimed it got only N1billion.

The apex bank’s account became suspicious when the governor refused to submit it to the Financial Reporting Council, FRC, the body with the mandate to ascertain the compliance of companies with accounting standards, and the International Financial Reporting Standards, IFRS.

Rather than submitting it to the body, the governor requested for seven years’ grace for the CBNto comply with FRC stipulations.

The audit report of the account, which was submitted directly to the President, was later forwarded to the economic adviser to the President for his appraisal. The official okayed the account and noted that it complied with the CBN Act.

However, unhappy with the economic adviser’s comment, Jonathan returned the report to him and drew his attention to the refusal of the auditor to sign the account.

An official of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria, ICAN, told our reporter that an audit report is worthless when it does not carry the signature of the auditor.

This is not the first time the CBN account will be open to scrutiny but the bank has always hidden under its autonomy to stave off close inspection. The apex bank is on the first line charge and receives its appropriation directly from the federation account and exercises enormous financial autonomy.

In May, the public accounts committee of the House of Representatives also had cause to query several expenditure items amounting to N4.7 billion in the CBN accounts. This included the N2.8billion which the bank said it spent on the construction of its Port Harcourt branch.

The House in turn had worked with a report from the office of the auditor general of the federation which queried extravagant expenditure by the apex bank for which documents were not made available for verification.

Chairman of the House committee on public accounts, Solomon Olamilekan at a meeting with officials of the bank alleged that there were indications that due process was not followed in expenditure as no documents were provided.

Some of the transactions that the committee queried include the sums of N23 million and N50claimed to have been spent for the same purpose of renovating the governor’s official residence as well as N848 million spent on the purchase of a property from the National Planning Commission without any transaction agreement.

However, like many probes of public institutions by the National Assembly, the matter appears not to have been pursued.

The N4 billion donation to BUK questioned in the President’s query had not even been known to the public. What had irked many Nigerians, including federal lawmakers, was the donation earlier in the year of N100 million to victims of terrorism in Kano, Sanusi’s hometown.

The House of Representatives entertained a motion on misuse of public funds on the donation which degenerated into a rowdy session. Many members accused Sanusi or misuse of public funds.

Member from Yobe State, Goni Lawan, described Sanusi’s donation of N100 million to Kano State and another N25m gift to Madalla bomb blast victims as “an act of terrorism”, arguing that attacks in Yobe and Borno states did not attract the same monetary consolations from the CBN governor.

“When I first heard of the action of the CBN governor, I was surprised. I asked whether Yobe andBorno states were not parts of Nigeria, as these attacks took place there first,” Lawan said.

Attempts to get the apex bank to react our story were unsuccessful. Over a week ago, when our reporter contacted the corporate affairs director of the CBN, Ugochukwu Okoroafor, and confronted him with the various issues noted in the CBN 2012 audited account, he claimed ignorance of any presidential query to the governor.

“I don’t know what donation you are talking about. Was it done in cash? I’m not aware of the things you are saying. If you can provide me with this document that would help, because I haven’t seen it,” he said.

Okoroafor said he was out of town on an official assignment in Abia State and would not be back until last weekend.

A mail asking him to respond to specific allegations about a write-off of about N3.5 billion CBN staff housing loan, donation of about N1 billion to a political party to open up offices across the country as well as the donation of N4 billion to the Bayero University Kano, among others, has not been replied.

Also, reminder text messages to the CBN spokesman have been ignored.

Celebrities / Dbanj Influenced Prayer For Year 2014 by UltraMedia(f): 12:44pm On Jan 01, 2014
Foremost Nigerian Producer, Ty-Mix was at the American embassy to procure his visa. After thorough scrutiny by the Visa Officer to determine that he won't go to US and flee, he asked Ty-mix one vital question: who and who have u worked with, have you worked with Dbanj?

This year, Top broadcasters from all over the world converged in US; including likes of world-renowned Piers Morgan of CNN (with Manny of Cool FM among those representing Nigeria). They then deliberated on issue of African: why African songs/artistes don't make Billboard Top Music chart etc. A renowned music executive stood and said, "music in Africa is so vibrant and a gold-mine (only issue is distribution except in SA) because I know of one music superstar act from Africa; Dbanj.

This new year 2014, with your dedication, passion and implementation irrespective of your tribe, colour, religion, believe, situation: Protocol will be broken for you and your name to be CELEBRATED!

Sincerely yours,
Sammy

Politics / December 25 And The Unnecessary Arguments by UltraMedia(f): 7:27am On Dec 26, 2013
It is sad how often the devil places assignments in the hands of Christians and it is even more sad to see believers pursue these devil induced assignments with Zeal. It bothers me the way Christians spend much energy fighting and arguing on non essentials leaving the essentials. The debate of whether Dec 25 is the authentic birthday of our Lord Jesus Christ is a devil induced argument. What does it matter whether He was born on Dec 25 or not. Whatever, was born sha! Why are concerned about the actual date. Which is bigger, that He was born or the day He was born. I think the fact that He was born is the bigger issue. Why not concentrate on the bigger issue than arguments on the day He was born. My father was not sure of his actual birthday. His parents were stark illiterates so no record was made. My father chose a date based on the stories he heard from his parents and has since adopted that date more than 50 years ago. Today he is 73. Even if the date he chose is wrong, what has that removed from him. For those who argue that Christmas must not be celebrated, this is another misdirected argument. Personally, I see no big deal about birthdays but my wife does. We have different personalities so I just had to bend to accommodate my wife's opinion. We need to be more tolerant of other peoples opinion and idiosyncrasies. The argument that Christmas was devoted to Pagan worship is a waste of time. Sunday was equally devoted to worship of the sun god in ancient Greek. That wasn't the originally Sabbath but we have all accepted Sunday as a day of worship above the Saturday reccomended in the Bible. These are minors. Why placing undue attention on the minors. To me Christmas is not a big deal because I celebrate Jesus every day. But I am not going to join issues with those who wish to set aside a day to celebrate Him. There are better things to talk about...KSO
