even the Lebanese were linked to the 11 years sierra Leone blood diamond war(early 1990s to 2003) even though charles taylor of liberia was also sponsoring it from his country then by supplying the millitas Ruf and Arfc weapon for buying diamonds illegally bit the larger and major culprits were the Lebanese who were numerous in sierra leone then I read they were using the proceeds of the diamonds to sponsor Hezbollah terrorists group in lebanon
