I still stand by what I wrote before that pure science courses in Nigeria public universities are the biggest scam in the world. I don't have anything against social sciences, arts,and law.

Laboratory is the real foundation of science and technology.You can't practise real pure science without modern laboratories.

I was once a student of a highly rated public university in Nigeria. And their laboratories were outdated and poorly managed.

But not the government fault alone every Nigerians from the poor, unlettered,to the privileged and the wealthy are corrupt, greedy and self-centered because even when they (the government)release the trifle or meager fund for upgrading the laboratories or building new ones to the latest standard the university administrators(VC,Bursar and the Register) and the leaders will embezzle it.

I graduated from UI also and I knew many times funds were looted by the VC and the university bursar even right from my 100 level days!!yet we face and curse our political leaders whereas all of us are worst and if the government decides to prosecute the offenders with efcc and icpc we,cry of witch-hunting and even defend the looters and say are the government officials also not looting? forgetting then when the foundation is weak a building won't stand!!

corruption needs to be tackled from the grassroots, as the youths that we see as the leaders of tomorrow are even worst come and see how the SU(student union executives) embezzle the institutions funds with reckless abandon which even trickles down to the departmental,faculty and hall of residences executives(governments) when I was in my final year my faculty president who was a female embezzled the faculty funds and grants and was even threatening that she couldn't be prosecuted is it someone like her that will get to the position of authority that won't embezzle billions of naira?if you can't be trusted with a little sum of money is it when you are faced with a larger sum you won't steal?

why those abroad universities are maintained and has up to date infrastructures are because they aren't fully government owned (joint ownership)infact they are almost privately owned that's why their tuition fees are costlier you know it's hard to embezzle from a private owned enterprise?that's why most private universities have good infrastructures in nigeria only they love exploiting their staffs!!

This thing happened to me last Christmas. After enough shayo enter system, I mixed up the digits on the account number and mistakenly transferred money wey I wan use make one payment to a wrong Opay account belonging to a girl wey I no sabi

Went to my bank the next day to report. Bank say make I no worry say within two days I go get back my money. After one month, no word. Went back to the bank and they were now asking me to go and get police report and one kind court document like that. Who has that kind of time. I just left the money for the thief as Christmas present and took it as a lesson learnt. I will never again attempt to send money when under the influence of shayo

You should have reported her account number to opay for fraud with the date and evidence of transaction,her account number will be blocked instantly from sending or receiving money she will return your money to you herself when she can't do any transaction

I follow him on Instagram and he does more for his town and nearby communities than all our elected polithievians combined he brought the first government secondary school to his town through his influence he distributes educational materials and stationeries to his town school pupils and students.

also he does widows and elderly welfare and gives them relief materials too and he is still an undergraduate in a private university either elizade university or there about!
