There is nothing that is impossible under the heavens, the advance nations have proven that over and over again but we are too slow minded to learn, too timid to try. Restructuring is a progressive entity, we can agree on something if not everything. Let start somewhere. |
Please sir, I had a dream that I was in my village for something like an IT and my certificates caught fire and got burnt |
Great insight. These other steps will also help a christian to live without falling into temptation; Be vigilant Mat 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Be sober 1 Peter 5:8King James Version (KJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour Guard your heart Pro 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Psalm 119:11King James Version (KJV) Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. James 1: 14-15 14But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Walking in the Spirit Gal5:16 I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. |
BluntBoy:Good night, nice chatting with u, have a wonderful night rest. |
BluntBoy:You have narrow down the commandment to love and I am showing you that love contains a lot of commandments. If you love God and his people one-tenth of your income will not be too big to give to his work on earth. God's work needs money and it is God's lovers that will supply the needed resources for the expansion of the gospel. Some people will never attend church but we can reach them in their sitting-room on their TV without permission. My dad is not a christian but he watches Mathew ashimolomo, pastor Adeboye and pastor Tunde bakare. Only money can do that, you can'tdo that by begging. A lot of these ministries help the needy around; I am sure daystar do a lot of that. It is not a must you are convinced but pls leave those who can part with their one-tenth. |
BluntBoy:How about all these other ones; Mat 5 17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. Murder 21 “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder,[a] and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister[b][c] will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’[d] is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell. 23 “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift. 25 “Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. 26 Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny. Adultery 27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’[e] 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell. Divorce 31 “It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’[f] 32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. Oaths 33 “Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.’ 34 But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; 35 or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. 36 And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. 37 All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.[g] Eye for Eye 38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[h] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. 41 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. 42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. Love for Enemies 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[i] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. And many more that are wrapped in that one sentence. |
BluntBoy:Pls do your personal study and respect other's belief. I stop tithing at a time because things were difficult couple with the fact that I wasn't really seeing the benefit in my life. So one day, I pick up my bible and my concordance read through every chapter that tithe, tithes and tithing could be found and I then concluded on given tithe with a better understanding. I seriously don't care how it is used because my major concern is fulfilling all righteous like Jesus did. |
BluntBoy:He died to save us from our sin. he only reconcile us to God, he broke the wall of separation between God and man. Man still have to fulfil the law by walking in the spirit. when you walk in the spirit or walk in love you will ultimately fulfil the law. 1 jh 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. REV 22:10 - 12 10And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. 11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Verse 12 says to give to every man according his WORK |
BluntBoy:Tithing was before the law, Abraham gave tithe before the law was given |
BluntBoy:Pls read that in another translation, your interpretation of that verse needs to be reviewed. He said he has come to fulfil the law that are written about him and not all the law Mathew 5:17 Kjv Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. NIV "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. |
BluntBoy:That Christians are no longer under the law does not mean that you should live outside the law or not obey the law. You need to understand that there is a difference between living under the law and living in accordance to the law. |
BluntBoy:What do you mean by Jesus fulfilled the law? |
ashjay001:Work harder, apply your mind power and you will |
ashjay001:Make sure u enjoy yourself to the fullness, the end will speak for itself. |
BluntBoy:I can see u have issue with tithing. Have you ever done a personal bible study on tithing? Pls get a concordance and read all the chapters in the bible that contain tithe, tithes and tithing and pls come back and give me your overall concept of tithing. When you do that you will be shocked that even Jesus spoke about tithe. If you don't believe in tithe why not respect other people's belief. |
