It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The Pen has been lifted from three: from the sleeping person until he wakes up, from the minor until he grows up, and from the insane person until he comes to his senses.” Narrated by Abu Dawood (4398), al-Nisaa’i (3432) and Ibn Maajah (2041); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.

So one who does not know what he is doing whether due to being childish, sleep or insanity, no good or bad deeds will be recorded till he is aware of what he is doing. It doesn't matter if he has a hand in what happened to him. Whatever he does after he became insane would not be recorded for him till he is aware. However, his family is required to pay for whatever damages he incurs.

If an insane man commits suicide, the suicide will not count for him if he is not aware of what he is doing. But it counts if he can differentiate between good and bad actions or knows what he is doing.

* So, the fact that s/he is now insane makes his/her condition fall within insane that the Hadith says. Obviously, the Hadith never distinguish any type of insanity.

Rasoul (SAW) said in an hadith dat d pen is lifted for 3 categories of people "a boy till he becomes a young man,an insane person till he regains sanity,a sleeping person till he is awaken.

My questions are as follows
Is it only d pen for bad deeds dat is lifted or both bad and good?
Wat if d insane person has a hand in wat has afflicted him does he still fall under these categories?

I think the modern misunderstanding of these verses comes when people think the word translated "rape" means sex against her will, not merely an offense against her honor. I think "and they are discovered" points to the fact that in this situation, the woman is complicit.

There are other verses that discuss rape against the woman's will - where she tries to call for help. In those cases the punishment is death for the rapist and no punishment for the woman.

A grave should consist of two parts. Lower part is smaller than the upper part. Both parts of the grave, should however, be spacious and uniformly excavated and dug to a depth of at least five feet.

3. Now make a roof on the lower part of the grave by using a large stone or laying bricks side by side or a very hard wood slab.
4. Everyone accompanying the Genaza should pour three handful of soil on the roof of the grave. The remaining part of the grave should then be filled up with soil. Again all present should contribute at least three handful of soil to finally complete the grave.The grave can be raised above the ground so that it is not more than a foot above it.THE PROCEDURES DESCRIBED ABOVE IS THE RIGHT ONE.HOWEVER, DUE TO THE BURIAL AND FUNERAL REGULATIONS OF 50 DIFFERENT STATES IN THE USA AND OF 10 PROVINCES IN CANADA, WE THE MUSLIM COMMUNITIES ARE NOT ABLE TO DO A FEW OF THEM.Please note that a grave of 5 feet depth is dug with no two distinct parts. Body is kept in a casket : ( where the law is required to have a casket ). A concrete slab is placed on top of the grave. When throwing the FIRST handful in the grave reciteMinhaa khalaqnaahumTrans: From (earth) We did create you.During the SECOND handful:Wa minhaa nu'eedukumTrans: and into it shall We return you.And the time of the THIRD handful:Wa minhaa nukhrijukum taaratan ukhraaTrans: and from it shall We bring you out once again.‎
