Please i would like to know if you are getting all JSC sport station here in Nigeria? If Yes please with what frequency are u using to track them.

Although, I have track mine with 4.4M dish with a Fuji LNB on Nilesat direction and I hit green with maximum percentage of 72% but could only get JSC Sport +1 - +5. I have try all possible frequency that i have for the +6 - +10 and also the HD channels.

I will appreciate if i can get a perfect solution/Answer to my problem from this forum cos I knw we have knowledge pple here in the House.

you don't need to be angry to anyone because of some reasons.
1. I know some people here believe that with 4.4m dish that you don't need to worry about signal loss on Jsc sports except if your dish is not properly alignned on nilesat.
2. Some people in your area might not be pointing their dish on badr 6.
I suggest to you that you check your dish properly for I know for sure that good 4.4m dish doesn't suppose to be having any problem with Aljazeera sport in any part of nigeria.

obnelly: Olenyi and George ,water in the lnb depends on the angle at which the satellite is positioned.if the dish is pointed to any satellite that is less that 45 degrees water can never have its way or build up inside the trunk.talking about cutting or removing the cover to increase the signal quality,that I have done and I can say it really work for me .I have increament in my signal strength but what people fail to do to prevent cobs web building inside I used to use colourless polythene to cover the mouth of the trunk ,so if you move above. 45 degree no water accumulation and if spiders is the aheadache the polythene still prevent it from entering onto your lnb.hope people that still love to cut lnb s mouth can still use this simple tech to increase their signal and still prevent water and cob webs build up inside their lnbs.

oga obnelly i totally and totally agree with u..auch had proven it on nilesat installation topic on page 10 where d signal increased by 8% after d lnb throat was cut off,once again oga odilibe cut off throat of his inverto quad lnb gave him 24 hrs stable signal on nilesat 201 delivering cnn..

If you have little knowledge about tracking with small dish up to 1.8m motorising big dish shouldnt be headache.first make sure your pole is plume @ 90 degrees .GO to satellite that is close to your latitude here in nigeria the satellites that are close to us are rascom,sirus and eutelsat w3a.among the three satellites sirus 4.8e is easy to track.

start by declining your angle adjuster at the neck of your pole mount,while doing that move your dish up and down till you have signal pop up on your screen.Make sure you have full signal.
go to the next satellite that is next i.e eutelsat w3a.get good signal there too and move to hotbird ,from this bird move to eutelsat 16e to badr and astra 28 .it means you are almost done with eastern satellite move up to your west and track western satellite from sirus4.8e move to rascom to atlantic bird 3 to nilsat to ab7 then to nss7 you may move further to hispasat and intelsat 31.5 depending on what you are looking for.While doing all these you must know how to skew your lnb to gain maximum signal strength .also you must understand how the neck of your dish behave to signal while tighten it.Do everything gradually ,dont rush at the end you will enjoy it all.
