Was a great year in terms of domain names, I have rarely posted here but just wanted to post it here as a thank you to all the nigerian domainers based here as well private groups who helped me become better - no longer part of those groups though. The key take away I can share is that the ONLY way to hit regular 2K avg in geo domains is to buy a lot, I bought 100+ in a single month at Dynadot during promo. Hire staff if you have to, outsource lead generation if you have to but you must scale the operations to make this a full-time gig. One key take away for the 2025 was that Google is increasingly strict, even getting workspace accounts does not help - what helps is regular switching of email accounts - I have hundreds as I used to create unique email for each domain back in 2019. I have also reduced emails sent per day to as follows 50 new/day 50 ff/day even for accounts that are 4+ year old. Would also recommend regularly changing letters, subjects, email accounts, link/no link, $ vs USD and tiny things like that. Also sharing some sales that I have not shared ANYWHERE as a token of thanks to this community, here's to an amazing 2026. https://x.com/GeoDomainExpert/status/2006753689374175345?s=20

logik29:I have used his services and i didn't have any complains. At times, you need to be a bit more understanding. There are power issues and what not. So far I've had 2/3 sales from emails generated by him and a lot of inquiries. |
Ramon92:You should mention who you bought leads from so that we avoid purchasing leads from them. |
Femcesc07:No vpn |
thorrvik55:Yes, it's down for me as well. |
ewizard1:Correct! Their is fair usage policy though so if you outbound heavily through call you could get blocked. |
James39:It's not DAN's fault at all, everybody knows here they don't accept AMEX. There's one simple fix, add this part to your email when they say yes; I would recommend completing payment through Paypal or a card with foreign transactions allowed. If you run into any issues with payment, please let me know so that we can send you alternate payment link. |
riqmarol:Higher chances are he won't buy this. I'd go something like this; Hi, We only have a for sale landing page on domain so don't have traffic stats on this. That said, from our experience it'd be safe to assume a geo domain like this gets around 10 views a month. |
KingFalcon:Persistence and hardwork are only two things that work in outbound. Instead of letting it get inside your head, work a bit harder. If you've sent 50 emails on a name, see if you can find 15 more? If you've sent all users you could find, followup? Have faith in yourself and remember that all you need to make a sale is ONE motivated buyer. |
justmykel:Did you manage to download it and couldn't open it? If this is case, try any pdf file opener. If you clicked the file and couldn't download it ir got an error, you might try VPN. I hope this helps you |
ewizard1:I think this would work only for names that have not been backordered elsewhere, it's almost impossible to beat Dropcatch because they have thousands of registrars and can run multiple queries at the same time. I tried Dynadot API once but couldn't get it to work. I agree, dynadot is best registrar if you're trying to snap names on drop, would also advice to prefund dyna account, that makes the whole process quicker. Also instead of checking on dynadot and running risk of IP ban issues, I'd suggest to check verisign whois which is by far quickest whois update for dot com. |
Gcool2:No, I don't blame them at all. I was unhappy at start the way some left but now I have moved on. For remaining people who still work with me, I am teaching them everything from purchasing and selling. Also, most people don't follow these model. They usually pay a fixed salary which means they earn a lot less. |
Winnerrrr:Yes, it can but UK market is a tough one. They mostly prefer CCTLD. I would recommend getting US geos or cities like Birmingham and London which are in both UK and US/Canada. |
JamParkMe:I used to operate this model not long ago, I did make big $$ but eventually most of these folks started their own outbound setup. The risk in this is that people would continue to leave you again and again which means you'd have to hire new people and train them again and again. The people I'm talking about here had no idea about domains, I trained them on outbound from scratch and now they work on their own. I would avoid this and recommend you to find people who generate leads for you for a fee and you send emails yourself. |
