Mamas, I feel like my baby's tummy is bigger than it should, though it's not hard but it seems too big to me. My mum said it's because I feed her too much, that not all her cries is about food, but what do I do if she wants to be fed? We'll be 3weeks on Friday

call home to pack your hospital bags or you wants your fluid to finish before starting induction.the real age of baby is according to lmp not scan ,I dnt know why people get so agitated to following date predicted by scan.

I have done that already jare iya mi. Infact they just administer a drip on me now, oxytocin I guess. What should I be expecting now please. I'm nervous, very.

Mamas abeg, my Edd according to lmp was on Wednesday 21st and no sign of labor, so today at ANC I complained to my doc and he checked me and said something about how my fluid is reduced kinda and sent me for scan. Now, today's scan gave 39w 4days and the doc want me induced. What did you mamas think abeg. Coz he is waiting for me to call home that I'll be admitted.

If you have painful leg cramps in pregnancy, you're not alone. Many pregnant women have them in the second or third trimester, often at night. No one knows for sure why women get more leg cramps during pregnancy. It may have to do with changes in blood circulation and stress on your leg muscles from carrying extra weight. Your growing baby also puts pressure on the nerves and blood vessels that go to your legs. And some doctors say low calcium, or a change in the way your body processes calcium, may cause cramps. Leg cramps usually go away within a few minutes.

Call Doctor If:

❌You have swelling, tenderness, redness, or warmth in the leg.
❌The pain doesn't go away.
❌You have trouble walking.
❌You think you need to take calcium supplements.

Step-by-Step Care if you experience leg cramps in pregnancy:

✅Do calf stretches. Stretch with your heels flexed. Stretch before bed if you get cramps at night.
✅If you get a cramp, straighten your leg, heel first, and wiggle your toes. Gently massage your calf to relax the muscle.
✅Avoid sitting or standing in one position for a long time. Move around. Don't sit with your legs crossed or other ways that may hamper blood flow.
✅Take a walk every day or do other regular exercise to prevent cramping, with your doctor's OK.
✅Drink plenty of fluids to keep your muscles hydrated.
✅If you get cramps at night, take a bath before bed to relax leg muscles.
✅When you have a cramp, put a warm towel or hot water bottle on the area.

Hi mama, sorry to hear about your chicken pox. Please do NOT Google it anymore. I had mine when I was 17weeks, and it was a rubbish feeling. Chicken pox is a viral infection so I had all the symptoms you mentioned, cold, fever, swollen tonsils, painful breasts, sore achy joints and all, it will pass with time.
Glad you're already taking some medications too. As for the effects on the baby, honestly the risk is very low, mine was fine and I pray yours will be as well. Aameen. You can go for extra scans when the spots has scabbed over. I had monthly scans until 36weeks, just to check the baby was OK. Hope that helps.
On another note, my consultant told me, second trimester is the best time to get chicken pox so you and baby will be fine. Efokanbale. Prayer always helps as well

Please I wanna ask what you guys think about chicken pox during pregnancy coz what I saw on Google is really disturbing me. Although I'm already on medication as I've been to the hospital but the thing keeps coming out more and more. I'm really afraid, I hope it won't have negative effect on my baby.
Also, both my breast is so full, heavy and painful as if I just started weaning ( the same feeling weaning gives) coupled with cold and slight temperature. What can I do again apart from the medications I've been using. We're 22 weeks now. Please I'm in pain

Madam my candid advice to you is please if i am to guess then it should be TT but it is not good to guess and you ought to have been given a card because you need three doses of it if it is TT and it is timely and you can go to any other hospital to get it if only you have your card and record.

You will even take the last dose after delivery,this means this is your first pregnancy and you need to observe every step so that during your second pregnancy you will be pro.
