Cowards can't take responsibility for their thoughtless and irrational actions. Boko Haram, your fellow terrorist group won't care whose horse is gored, they usually come out and take responsibilities for their actions. Aje ke l'ana omo ku loni, tani ko mo pe aje l'o pa omo. Sometimes, I think it is 'natural selection', an evolutionary phenomenon that is taking it rightful course. Where are Homo Erectus and Homo Habilis today? It's only that we today can't keep watching and allow our still primitive IPOB Terrorists to waste the life of their fellow tribesmen just like Ojukwu did and later came back to contest in an election; a show of lack of respect for the many dead soul of his tribesmen. |
Phone numbers, email addresses and online information portal should be made available for people who wants to provide intelligent report about IPOB terrorist activities and its members whereabout. The Nigeria Army should also ensure optimal anonymity of whistle blower. |
IPOB left the chatroom. Keep dreaming... |
The people are delusional, and they will not stop to hallucinate about things that are not real. We and other normal people see them for who they really are but they keep looking at themselves through a colored glasses. They are free to keep telling their lies to their fellow primitive brothers. Sometimes, we just have to keep watching them and allow evolution to perform it work. How many Homo erectus and Homo habilis do you see on earth today? These is natural selection at work (I feel). confusedlady: |
Even Jesus will be ashamed of this crime against humanity wherever he is; (though, there was no real historical Jesus). Destroying your own historical heritage because of a lie you were told? Why are many African leaders and decision makers this dull? All these fake religion have destroy the normal mental processes of a lot of our brothers. There is no heaven, there is no hell, there is no god, there are no angels, there are no demons, there are no spirits, there is no life after death, juju don't work, there is no eternal judgment, there is no karma, there was no historical Jesus. All those are figment of human imaginations and tools use by a very few some to control the many others. The earlier you understand and accept these facts as facts, the happier and merrier your life and existence will be. The religion you're currently doing is the religion of your parents, if you were born into a family of another religion (say Hinduism), that is the exact religion you will practice. You were born without a religion, your factory reset has no religion in it. If you were to be a phone and they do factory reset on you today being a phone, there will not be anything found related to religion in your settings, files and file systems anymore; you learn religion only after your birth growing up. |
Stockholm Syndrome Stockholm Syndrome is a psychological phenomenon where hostages or victims of kidnapping or terrorism develop a bond or affinity with their captors. This emotional attachment can manifest in various forms, including sympathy, loyalty, and even love. The syndrome is named after a bank robbery in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1973, where hostages defended their captors even after being freed. Key Characteristics of Stockholm Syndrome Emotional Bond: The victim develops positive feelings towards the captor. ******Negative Feelings Towards Authorities: The victim may develop negative feelings towards law enforcement or anyone who might try to help them. Dependence: The victim becomes dependent on the captor for basic needs and approval. Lack of Escape Attempts: Despite opportunities, the victim may not try to escape or seek help. Causes and Mechanisms Stockholm Syndrome is thought to result from a survival instinct that kicks in during extreme stress and trauma. The victim may start to identify with the captor to survive, seeing any act of kindness as a sign of humanity. This psychological shift can be seen as a coping mechanism, allowing the victim to handle the trauma of the situation. Famous Cases The Norrmalmstorg Robbery: The event that coined the term involved a bank robbery in Stockholm where hostages were held for six days and developed a bond with their captors. Patty Hearst: Heiress Patty Hearst was kidnapped by the Symbionese Liberation Army in 1974 and later participated in crimes with them, showing signs of having developed Stockholm Syndrome. Elizabeth Smart: Kidnapped at the age of 14, Elizabeth Smart was held for nine months. Although she has stated she did not develop Stockholm Syndrome, her case is often discussed in relation to it. Treatment and Recovery Recovery from Stockholm Syndrome involves psychological therapy to address the trauma and the complex feelings towards the captor. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is often used to help the victim understand and process their experiences. Support from family and friends is also crucial in the recovery process. Conclusion Stockholm Syndrome is a complex psychological response to a traumatic situation. It illustrates how humans can adapt their behavior and emotions in extreme circumstances to increase their chances of survival. Understanding this syndrome is important for law enforcement, psychologists, and anyone involved in hostage situations to better support victims during and after their ordeal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asun7JI_Mm8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LLR7TjGvXI |

Yes, just yes. |
I can't say, but the thoughtless choices of one person led to the untimely death of millions of his tribesmen while the the decisions of the other led to the preservation of life and prosperity of his tribesmen. |

I understand every of your points, but me think we could have sing a new Anthem either. LegendHero: |
If the national anthem is no longer good, why can't we sing a new one? AlexBells: |
Nigeria belongs to over 200million people. Change of National Anthem in an act of sycophancy just to please the president and to fulfil his long term desires and longings shows blatant lack of innovative thinking by our leaders, and their regressive mentality. A lot of us are actually not sure what this current administration can achieve and the future of this country. While other legislatures in other countries are making laws to ensure prosperity of the citizens of their countries, our own leaders are sponsoring pilgrimage with 90billion naira. If the "Arise O compatriot" national anthem is no longer fanciful, why can't we sing a new anthem that will speak to the current situation of the country instead of reverting to an old version foreign composed National Anthem. What do I even know? but this is the way I feel. |
Going to the old anthem shows lack of innovative thinking by our leaders. It large depict their retrogressive mentality. |
I am very much disappointed by the change of the National Anthem and by the speed by which it was done. Reverting to an old national anthem show at large, the bereft of innovation and the retrogressive thinking pattern and mentally of our leaders. With these set of leaders, I wonder what the future of the country will be. They should take their time and watch what their counterparts in other countries are debating on rather than sycophantly changing of the National Anthem of over 200million people just to please and fulfill one person wish, the president. |
